I live in Cleveland and recently dealt with Citywide in Toledo, Ohio after speaking with one of…read moretheir salesmen, Elias, through Facebook Marketplace about a truck they had listed. After repeatedly asking for a price, he kept telling me that his boss hadn't priced the vehicle yet. I even asked him to check directly with his boss, but instead, he kept asking me when I could "come in." I explained multiple times that I live nearly 1 hour and 40 minutes away and wouldn't make that trip without knowing the price first. After going back and forth for a couple of days, I finally made him an offer of about $13,000 out the door, and he said he could do that. I then asked him to send me a video of the truck running and a few other details -- he never sent the video. Despite that, we decided to make the trip out on Saturday. When we arrived, we were told the truck was not even there -- it was at auction, and had been there for some time. To make matters worse, the actual price of the truck was around $5,000 more than what was discussed. We were told the salesman "wasn't at that store," so we drove to their other location -- only to be told again that he "wasn't there," even though the first location told us the opposite. We spoke with a manager who was polite and sympathetic, but the vehicles he showed us weren't close in price or quality. He said the general manager, Mike, would call me, which he did on Monday. After explaining the situation, including that I had worked in the car business for 14 years, his response was extremely condescending -- "Well, if you've been in the car business, you should have known that vehicle wouldn't sell for that." It shouldn't matter whether I was in the car business or not -- a quote is a quote. Mike told me there was nothing he could do and even said, "Go to social media if you want -- that's your prerogative." So here I am. Between the 4-hour round trip, gas, tolls on the Ohio Turnpike, and wasted time, this was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had with a dealership. The lack of honesty, communication, and accountability was disappointing from start to finish. Save yourself the trip -- get everything in writing first, or better yet, find a dealership that values honesty and customer respect.

Very shady and dishonest bunch. Tried to do a classic bait and switch with vehicles. Drove over an…read morehour to see vehicle and tried to get all of my info and social to run credit etc before having the decency to let me know it was already sold. Then acted like I was the bad guy for being upset about their dishonest and absolutely abhorrent tactics. Do not trust them to be honest. Do not drive any type of distance for a "good deal". I wouldn't be surprised if the good deals were fake ads to get people in.

I want to start by saying that for over 15 years my family and I had a good history with this…read moredealership. My father, myself and my wife all purchased a Mercedes from them and had service/repairs done there quite often in that time. Not all work was done there but much of it was including anything serious and this car was there for major warranty work a few months beforehand. We would highly recommend them in that whole time but not anymore. Recently our 13 year old car wouldn't start or shift which requires towing it anywhere. I made an appointment for 8:30 am with them 2 weeks out telling them the issues and specifically that I would have to have it towed in. After that I got confirmations by email and text that day and on the day before the appointment by email, text and a phone call by an actual person. I had the car towed to them that day so it would be ready to go first thing. Why is that so important you ask? The morning of the appointment at 8:33 am I recieved a text: "Good afternoon. Your vehicle is here now. After speaking with the Service Director, we decided to not work on your vehicle. Other people have been working on it and based off the history of your vehicle, we would most likely be going into the thousands to repair your vehicle, and in the past, people that own these older vehicles do not pay their bill. Therefore, we would decline working on your vehicle." The fact they refused to work on a car that they sold and serviced is unexpected and very disappointing but when they knew it had to be towed there is ridiculous. On top of that they claim that the bill wouldn't be paid, when we have always paid immediately on completion. My wife went in the next day to see if we could work something out as we just wanted it to be fixed. They were a bit more diplomatic in person but still outright refused. She stated we buy these cars because they are good cars that last a long time and they agreed on that point but still no. Then on her way out the service manager made the absolutely rude comment of "You need to get your car out of here". A car they know has to be towed. So now we incurred bills for 2 unnecessary tow's and wasted time when this could have been avoided from the outset by saying they won't work on older cars. This whole experience has been outrageous and unbelievable. After so much good history with them, I feel stabbed in the back. They were extremely unprofessional, rude and downright disrespectful. I will never do any business with their sales or service department ever again. Before I would advise anyone to go there to be treated right but now I ask you. Does this sound like they will treat you right or even care? That's up to you but thank you for reading my experience with them.

My DWC Service Advisor got my car back to the service technician even before my appointment time (I scheduled it myself, online). My wait was very short. In less than 40 minutes after I pulled into the convenient drop off bay, my oil change and tire rotation was complete! (Face masks required in all areas, and CoVid protocols were all in place, they even disinfected my car's interior before handing me back the keys.) The price was terrific! One of the best oil change experiences I've ever had! I highly recommend Dave White Chevy Service Center for an oil change, and multipoint inspections. I know I'm going to keep using Dave White Chevy for service! You should too!

At the time I was driving a car that was a death trap. I didn't have a lot to put down, but I did say how much I was putting down. I'm sitting there talking to the salesman and next thing I know I'm being asked if I can afford $400 which I said yes then it went to five and I said maybe and then it went $600. I was very uneasy because I knew I probably couldn't make the but I said I could probably make it work. Now mind you I have not been shown a car. I told them that I could afford a $10,000 car that was my budget. At the moment that this was happening to me I didn't think about any of this, by the time we were done I was talking to the Financial guy I forgot his name, who was talking to me about what I was getting for my car, blah blah blah and how much my payment would be. Which was way too much. I'm told this new car that was only a couple years old very low miles, I become excited. At the moment, I was OK with it after making payments on it for four months, I started drowning in debt. Borrowing from here borrowing from there. . The problem I have here is not once was I shown a car. Not once was I asked what kind of a car I was interested in. Now I'm not stupid and I'm usually typically knowing what's going on. But this place totally took advantage of me. I would never tell anybody to go there. I have told four people I have talked to not to go there because unless you have a man with you, they will totally take advantage of you. Do not trust this company.
