My daughter was…read morecoming home from her duty station overseas and needed a good reliable car for under $10,000. We found a Buick regal in excellent shape. It had a minor issue which they fixed prior to us taking it home. They were easy to deal with, and when there was one tiny issue a few weeks later, they offered to repair it free of charge. You don't get that kind of service for a car that is almost 10 years old. They specialize in salvage titles. That means you can get a great car with low miles at an amazing price. I don't worry about a salvage title with them, because they do excellent work and stand behind the work that they do. A few weeks after I purchased my daughter's car, I kept thinking about the Santa Cruz that I saw and drove on the lot. I fell in love with that truck. The owners gave me a fair deal on it, I was able to pick it up at 4:45 PM and be off the lot by 5 PM with the keys in hand. If you want a painless purchasing experience, I would highly recommend coming here. Salvage titles can be hit or miss, but not when you deal with a reputable business. It gets no simpler. They are high pressure, and if you tell them what you're looking for, they will keep an eye out.

I honestly can't say enough good things about my experience with Brown Honda, especially Zak…read more My car was tragically vandalized, and to be completely honest, I was not ready to buy a new car. It was something I never expected to have to deal with, and the whole situation was stressful enough without adding the pressure of buying a vehicle. From the very beginning, Zak made the entire process so much easier. He is not your average pushy car salesman who tells you whatever you want to hear just to make a sale and then leaves you wondering what the heck you just agreed to. He also didn't make me feel like I was a dumb female who he was gonna "get one over on". He actually took the time to listen to what I wanted, what I needed, and most importantly, what I was comfortable spending, and stayed within that budget. He never tried to push me over my budget or talk me into something I didn't want. Instead, he genuinely cared about finding something that was right for me and my family. He also took the time to go through all the bells and whistles in the car with me. He explained what everything did, how to use it, and even showed me how to change different settings. He didn't just hand me the keys and send me on my way. He made sure I actually understood my new vehicle and felt comfortable with it. And honestly, that made a huge difference. I did not leave the dealership regretting my purchase or wondering if I had made the wrong decision. I left feeling confident, comfortable, and genuinely happy with the vehicle I chose. After such an unexpected and stressful situation, that feeling meant a lot to me. Zak made the whole experience feel personable. We joked around, talked about our families, and somehow buying a car during a situation I absolutely did not want to be in actually became a really positive experience. I cannot recommend Zak enough. If you're looking for someone who will actually listen to you, respect your budget, answer your questions, take the time to explain things, and treat you like a person, honestly family instead of a paycheck, go see Zak at Brown Honda. He has truly earned my business for life, and when I'm ready for another vehicle down the road, for my kids or anyone looking, he will absolutely be the first person I call and recommend. Thank you, Zak, and thank you Brown Honda, for making a stressful situation so much easier.

We originally dealt with the owner's daughter who didn't seem to ever connect with the dealership and had us drive to Toledo from Michigan only to discover that the car we scheduled to test drive wasn't ready and the salesman who was supposed to meet with us was 'unavailable' and 'in a meeting'. Fortunately Pam Lugari greeted us and worked around all the obstacles (with Josh from sales). She was great and we had the test drive and realized the C-Max was a great car. Josh worked a great deal and we bought the car thanks to them. Pam actually knew about the C-Max and was a great sales person. She worked the deal and was trustworthy and reliable in our experience. She made the difference - we were so frustrated that we were ready to just to head home to Michigan. Well, we have the C-Max now and all the details were done right thanks to Pam and we love our new car - despite the fact that it's a Ford. But it's built in the US and by Michigan people like us in Wayne, MI. Thank you Pam. If we're looking for another car (and that might happen since it's a 2004 Ford Focus Wagon) we know that it's worth heading to Toledo and Jim White.

When the Ohio title showed up with no license plate, I was told I need to do that on my own. But they took my money to do that. Bought another car in 2023 from a different Ohio dealer, and 2022 from a Pennsylvania dealer and that all went smoothly receiving my Michigan title and plates. This dishonesty is just disgusting. For them to cheat and pocket the couple hundred dollars they deserve to lose customers forever.

The paperwork etc. was quick and efficient. I was able to get in and out with about 90 minutes. The dealership seemed very clean, and the staff friendly. Cons: I asked the salesman if there were any cosmetic issues or larger issues BEFORE I traveled 3 states to pick up the truck. The salesman stated that there were not. When I arrived there I learned that there was a semi large dent on the tailgate. The dealership did credit me about $500. However, I would have paid $500 extra for perfection. The vehicle has lug nut locks, I never received a key for them. I did call the salesman and he said he would look into it. I still have yet to receive the key for the lug nut removal.

Pretty stingy place to look for a vehicle,…read more I inquired on carfax.com about a 2025 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, later that day I was called by unfortunately later to find out an absolutely awful salesman by the name of Steve Myers. (I feel awful for anyone who has to work with this egotistical sore loser) I asked over the phone if the vehicles price is negotiable and if I could toss in an offer, he stated how the dealership is a volume dealer and their prices are put "aggressively" which didn't ultimately answer the question but I didn't think much of it and tossed in an offer. Few hours later I was told that the vehicles price is firm, to which I responded by saying "Okay, let me know if anything changes", he tried to justify the price by sending me a data analysis report of similar spec to spec vehicles within a 300 mile radius of the dealership, his vehicle was ranked 3rd for best price in the market, I asked him "where's the location of the first two" to which he claims that locations are not given. After doing not even 10 minutes of digging, I found both. 2 days later, he messages me saying "I saw it." In my response to me seeing the vehicle he failed to provide me information on. Cool I guess? 4 days later, he sends me the listing again and he drops the vehicles price by about $200-300-ish. I told him to delete all my information as I'll be looking for other options in the market since I wasn't too fond of his tone from the start, he states my offer "was not exceptionally fair" to which I show him a better vehicle in the market with a lower price than his AND lower miles than his. His response? "Go buy it." What a ways to go for a salesman Anyways, spend your hard earned money elsewhere if you're looking for a vehicle, this place does NOT deserve your business.

The last time I leased they switched the price on me claiming my credit score was 30 points lower than it actually was, so they ran it again saying it wouldn't affect my credit report (but it did). Had to extended the terms of the lease to get to agreed upon monthly price. When buying my last vehicle in cash they kept pushing an extended warranty that I declined many times and then they wanted my husband and I to sign a blank form. That's actually illegal and grossly inappropriate for any financial person to request someone to sign a blank form. I wonder how many scams they run with those that do sign the blank forms. The service dept is a disaster. Made an appointment to have a recall issue fixed on my new Jeep along with a few other items. Told by advisor an appt doesn't mean they'll actually look at it then (what the hell is an appt for then?). Told him I needed my car back by the next day as I took the day off work and they didn't have loaners. Tried calling multiple times to no answer and was finally patched through to a more direct line only to be told they hadn't even looked at my car yet - 8 hours after dropping it off! We took the car to another authorized Jeep service center and they had every problem fixed within 5 hours because they actually schedule appointments for the work to be done, not just for someone to drop their car off and have it sit around all day for nothing.

TLDR; solid used cars at great prices…read more I was looking for a solid four wheel drive SUV (NOT a crossover) with a manual transmission. Found a car on craigslist for this place. I drove an hour out to see it, and I'm happy to see it is as described. Nothing hidden, all there including VIN and details. I first met Al who was courteous and even broke the rules. Local issues have caused the area to stop offering a public restroom, but he saw my peepee dance and let me in. Got me all set up for the test drive, confirmed I could drive stick, and sent me on my way. I had some questions and he was straight forward and told me he couldn't answer them, but told me how he would get them answered. I got back, and he had directions ready for me to get everything else answered. He didn't mind that I went over this truck with a magnifying glass (figuratively, I only used my OBDII, flashlight, manual, and a sweater to lay on the ground). Mike and one of the mechanics went over all of my questions. At first I thought maybe they were full of poop on the hesitations I had, but they pulled out their real diagnostic gear, let me drive and verify it. Although this could have been a twenty minute process, they let me drag it out an hour Sunday, and over three hours Monday. Payment/finance was awesome. I've had people try to put me through the ringer at other dealerships, but it couldn't have been simpler. It took about a half hour, and that's because half way through I talked to my wife for 15 minutes. Janet was personable and friendly. Since these are used cars (mine is over a decade old! I had to have THIS EXACT ONE lol) I do recommend going over them. Remember, people have owned them before and they have spent their lives out in the real world. . . Driving! If it wasn't for being an hour plus away, I'd send all my people here.
