Shafayet and his crew did a truly amazing job, and I am so thankful for all their time, care, and commitment to making our house special and beautiful. This was a big job. We installed 2 new kitchens, 2 new bathrooms, rebuilt the back wall of our house to add large windows, added a deck, skylights, and a bunch of other things in between. At every step, Shafayet worked hard to make sure the house turned out perfectly. I have nothing but the best things to say about our new home and the care Multi put in to make it right. For this type of work, we received bids from a number of different people. Multi priced everything very competitively and they are very transparent on costs for change orders. The millwork / finishing / painting done by his team were meticulous, and we ended up 2 beautiful new apartments - a triplex with 2 bedrooms 2 baths, and a duplex with 2 bedrooms / 2 baths. Shafayet was always responsive to our inquiries / requests and provided solutions to the many problems that were encountered in a project of this size. He also coordinated well with the architect and third party vendors that were involved in this project too. His bid for the job was very reasonable compared to the bids of 4 other general contractors. Great value overall!

I worked out the plans at the Ikeea Design Studio on March 18th -- I was the last customer seen and literally they shut the place down for three months after I waled out the door (and took the subway home). Over the next few months I watched a gazillion YouTube videos thinking I could do a lot of the projects myself. I was wrong. Then I cooked up some schemes to honor my building's stingent requirements but still keep the reno moving forward, like detaching all my cabinet doors and driving them over to the painter to spray in his building basement. What a mess. By the time Ikea opened up again and the shipping backlogs eased I had learned my lesson -- and signed up for Ikea's contruction services for the installation. They assigned Turn Key. This team's work was the only part of the reno that came off without a hitch. I was completely bowled over when Lance contacted me the day before the installation to ask if he could send his carpenter up to check out the space and figure the out the logistics. This meant when the team arrived the next morning, they were all ready to go at it. And go at it they did. They worked swiftly, cleanly and without incident. I was here the entire time, and they never took a break until they were done -- earlier than projected, at which point they cleaned up and left me with my new kitchen. If you want a perfect job, completed when promised, this is the company to use. I began with one project and added to it. They were careful about making sure I knew exactly what each additional thing would cost, and the length of time that would be required. I got several bids before beginning my project and various timeframes. WVGC was honest about the length of time that would be required. We had weekly meetings and they remained exactly on schedule. They were referred to me by someone else in my building who'd used them, and who was equally impressed with their work. They were right on top of every detail the entire way through the project. They finished exactly when they'd promised, and everything was perfect. In finishing up with a very short punch list, they have been as responsive after having been paid as they were along the line. I would hire WVGC again in a minute. I am afraid I'm spoiled. I have used many contractors over the years, and these people were by far the most professional. They told me when it was not worth doing something I considered adding to my project. I should also say that they are extremely careful and their work is neat. When my apartment was turned back to me, I was extremely impressed with how they had been so careful in protecting other parts of the apartment. My building staff also mentioned to me that they were very impressed with their professionalism and told me how they stood apart from other contractors. The entire staff was a pleasure to work with, and they were amazingly responsive. Any time anything needed to be approved, changed, or ordered, there was always the project manager or assistant project manager who would be available to accomplish what needed to be accomplished. The two principals were also a pleasure to deal with -- so, I guess you can tell from this review that I was extremely happy with their perfectionistic work, their fair prices, and their attention to detail, as well as their responsiveness. They are not the least expensive contractors, but their work is clearly so superior that it is worth paying a little more. I really cannot too highly recommend WVGC.

As I got other estimates, I liked that they consistently checked in with me but didn't pressure me. I also appreciated that they were the only contractors that talked about what permits would be required and that the estimate included Delta pulling the appropriate permits. During the job, they showed up on time and worked incredibly hard every day. All of their employees were respectful and friendly I liked that they are a family-owned operation and there were several members of the family working the job. The driveway came out perfectly. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

If you're planning on any kind of interior work that requires finish work do not, repeat DO NOT…read morehire this company. I have nothing against Bobby and his crew personally (they're all very nice people) but they do not have the skills to handle any kind of detail or finish work. And Bobby does not stay on top of his crew and he did not supervise the work sufficiently. Example #1: We asked them to install a butcher block counter top. When they finished the counter top still had filler in spaces and we had to call them back to scrape it away. And then within one week of the installation, the material they used to fill cracks where the countertop butted up against the backsplash had started to crack. Three months after the installation one piece of the backsplash came away and I had to reglue it myself. Example #2: They installed a hardwood floor in the living room and bedrooms. They didn't install a saddle between the living room and the kitchen (a transition to vinyl tile). When asked to rectify it, they cut down a piece of base molding and then didn't even bother to polyurethane or finish the piece of wood at all. Example #3: We bought four solid wood doors to replace existing hollow core doors. They had to paint them but did not paint the bottom and top surfaces of the doors (when they're installed you won't see these edges as they're butted up against the floor and ceiling respectively). As a result, moisture has penetrated the doors and they have changed size. Now I'm going to have to wait until fall to wait for the humidity to drop and the doors should shrink back (hopefully) and then I'll have to get them repainted. Example #4: The vinyl floor in the kitchen had a big bump in one spot. We asked them to remove the tile where the bump was, and re-level that spot. The did do that, but there was still a small high spot. These are just four examples of the quality of Delta Contractors's work. They may be great at doing stucco work or repaving driveways. But if you want quality interior work done, look elsewhere.
