Open junctions, inoperable outlets and switches, questionable wiring, and unfinished projects: these are some of the trappings of owning an older home. Paul came out to do an estimate on our project. I had the project bid by multiple companies. Winner's attitude, willingness to take on the project, and prompt follow up with a quote earned them the job. We had a scheduling mishap, but I won't take stars off for that. It was resolved quickly. I am super happy with the work completed. The electricians came out and worked most of the day in all areas of my home. They replaced breakers, outlets, switches, and resolved loose and unsafe wiring that was downstairs and in my garage. Winner answered my questions, and if something didn't seem right, they worked together to find the root cause of the issue rather than applying a workaround. I was so happy with the work completed, that I hired Winner back a second time, a couple weeks later, to complete the wiring to an outbuilding and reconfigure the wiring in my garage. That work was largely completed Friday - waiting on a part to finish up a couple aspects, but I'm happy with this work as well. I would use their services again, and I would recommend to others.

However, the owner was not as upfront and informative as he shoud have been. We called to get a breaker replaced for the water heater. He sent a truck to our home with two service technicians. Long story short, he admitted that it was a one person job but since he had two techs in the truck he billed us for both. The bill was 750.00 to replace one breaker. When we complained, he said, "I'm sorry we are to expensive for you." If I was told that two technicians were coming and being billed as such, I would have called another company. You decide for yourself if this is fair business or not.

He was called to our home to replace an old bathroom fan with a new one that my husband purchased. He did, and it's working. My frustration is that when he left, my bathroom, and even outside the bathroom, into my bedroom, there was a thick layer of sawdust everywhere. On clothing, on my AVAPS machine, the vanity, etc. I have asthma so all that saw dust was a major annoyance for me. He should have covered exposed surfaces when he was drilling and closed the door to keep the dust in the bathroom, and then cleaned up after himself, but he did neither. I feel the lack of courtesy to protect the area where he worked and the attached bedroom is a lack of professionalism. I wouldn't have them back.

We had him do numerous jobs over years on a rental property turned back into our house. The latest is the installation of a German engineered on demand electric water heater in a difficult existing condition. Any new water heater would have been a challenge. He gave us an excellent value and allowed us to work with our plumber and we supplied the appliance. A year later, my husband now takes baths everyday with it. He loves it and our warranty is the highest of any products on the market. Resiliency is sustainability so all this work will last us a lot of use for another decade at least and contributes less green house gas and waste when it comes time to replace the unit.
