I had no idea that this bakery was so close to us. Our daughter-in-law cannot eat gluten and we always struggle to find some thing that's tasty as well as gluten-free. Mike went into shop here so that we could get rolls for a cookout and was delighted to see that they had hamburger rolls as well as Italian crusty rolls. The pastries look delicious. Mike bought some cannolis to serve and we are absolutely thrilled to be able to accommodate Kate and make some thing as good as what everyone else is eating. This will definitely be our go to for breads and pastries in the future

Went here for the first time today after seeing them post about a vegan Boston cream cake! We were met with the aroma of freshly baked sweets upon entering the bakery (one of the most amazing smells ever!) the bakery was bigger than I expected and had a freezer full of vegan goods. There were also plenty of other treats that are non-vegan both in the freezer and in cases that were out. The bakery itself prides itself on being allergen friendly as they carry many products that are gluten, nut, and dairy free. I wasn't sure how our cake would taste as I wasn't a fan of gluten free treats that I've had in the past at other places, but it looked awesome so I was dying to get home and try it. Unfortunately, I had to wait a bit longer to eat it. Since it was frozen, it took a few hours for the custard to completely thaw out, but boy was it worth the wait! Both my husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how tasty the cake was. The chocolate and the custard was yummy! We ended up eating way more than we should have. The cake itself is pretty large and is reasonably priced. I look forward to coming back to try other things. I definitely recommend this bakery!

The assortment of products here amazes me. I am not gluten free and never really knew the extent of it but I was surprised by the amount of options you had to choose from. There were pastries, cheesecakes, frozen desserts, frozen savory foods, pastas, ice cream cones you name it. I even had vegan ice cream for the first time at their sampling event this past Saturday and I was thouroughly impressed. I ended up buying the Brazilian cheese rolls because they were amazing! Whether you're gluten free or not I would definitely check out this bakery!!

Awesome hidden gem!! Now my favorite bakery! Was immediately greeted as I walked through the door. Clerk was friendly and informative. As I looked around everything was well organized, nice & neat as well as well-labelled. Everything was gluten-free and vegan --such a great variety, from pantry staples such as pastas, to specialty items like gluten-free crust pizzas with dairy-free cheese & vegan. Lunch specials can be had, spinach pie & chicken soup, great lunch! The bakery --tried the apple pocket, yum! Tried a cutout cookie but icing stuck to plastic wrap so only tasted the cookie but it was good. The slice of cheesecake was a winner! Have a new favorite shop!

She showed me to my table, brought a carafe of water, and welcomed me in. I was quickly welcomed by Sergio, my server, who shared the special and the soup of the day. Once I ordered my soda I took in the ambiance of the bar, new lights, and the rest of the restaurant. It's not a large building but they make every inch count. Now, the reason you're reading this review- THE FOOD. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a Caesar Salad. The chicken (photo below) was perfectly cooked, topped with hot honey, slaw, pickles, and ranch then placed on a soft brioche bun. The meal was reasonably priced as well at $33 which included tip. I will absolutely be back to the Shanty next time I'm in town.

The Mac and cheese was delicious and a bit garlicky. It was the breadcrumbs but worth it. The flatbread was more of a personal pizza than a flat bread and it was hot honey and delicious. And the wings were the perfect amount of sweet and savory. It's smaller than you think and I can understand why they would be busy all the time. It's a great establishment.

I walked in on autopilot and headed left to grab my coffee, only to realize the entire layout had changed. The new bar area is beautiful, inviting and such a great addition to the space. Coffee service has moved to the back and while I was checking out the prepackaged gluten-free muffins in the cooler, I was warmly greeted by the staff. I ordered the Iced Grasshopper with milk and it was delicious. Smooth, refreshing and the perfect summer coffee. Very minty. One of the employees noticed me looking around and took the time to explain all of the renovations, show me the new bar and point out their weekend dinner specials, which can also be ordered for takeout. That personal touch really stood out. If you're stopping in for coffee, don't miss the specials board. The dinner menu looked fantastic and I'll definitely be back to give it a try. It's great to see a local business continue to grow while keeping such friendly, welcoming service.

Ten years is a long time to stay away from a corner table…read more I used to work just down the road from Wild Harvest. Back then, I was there often enough that it became part of my week. You ordered at the counter, found a table, and waited for your name to be called. No table service. No bar. Just good food in a place that felt comfortable the minute you walked in. I left that job ten years ago. Wild Harvest never left East Greenwich. My friend Frank wanted to take me to lunch for my birthday. I knew exactly where I wanted to go. Lauren greeted us at the door. She's been managing the restaurant for a few weeks. I wanted to see how much the place has changed. "Where would you like to sit?" "The corner." A minute later, I was sitting in the same corner where I'd eaten lunch more times than I could count years ago. Wild Harvest still has the log cabin bones that made it stand out when it first opened. Heavy timber walls. Exposed beams overhead. A taxidermy deer wearing red, white, and blue bunting like someone decorated it for the Fourth of July years ago and never got around to taking it down. It still feels warm. Comfortable. Like itself. The changes over the last ten years, though, are hard to miss. What used to be a counter-service café is now a full-service restaurant. There's a real bar. A chalkboard announces dinner from five to eight, seasonal menus that change every week, cocktails, and Friday night flights. The place has grown without losing what made people want to come here in the first place. They don't call it a chicken parm. On the menu it's simply "Parmesan," listed beside the hot meatball as though everyone already knows what it is. The ciabatta is baked in house every day, and it tastes like it. The crust was blistered and lightly floured, toasted enough to push back before giving way to a chewy interior. The provolone had gone beyond melted into something draped over the edge of the cutlet. Underneath, the breading stayed crisp despite a generous layer of sauce. That's usually the first thing a chicken parm gives up. Not this one. The chips deserve a mention, too. They're house-made, fresh-cut, still curled from the fryer, the kind that remind you potato chips are supposed to taste like potatoes. Frank ordered the Mediterranean wrap with Wild Harvest's homemade veggie burger, hummus, romaine, tomato, shredded carrot, cucumber, and tzatziki. His lunch looked responsible. Mine looked like someone having a birthday. Neither of us seemed interested in trading. Frank picked up the check. We thanked Lauren and headed for the door. Ten years is a long time to stay away from a corner table. It's even better when you find out it was worth coming back.
