Good food and HUGE portions. Excellent service and comfortable dining room although the tables aren't big enough for all the food. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. Lots of college students trying to pay their way so be generous. Ask questions. We learned that some of the entrees are double portioned. Been going for years. I do wish they dusted more. But it's really an awesome place. Food is excellent. Service amazing. Music is great modern and classic mixes. Bar is small but comfortable. They have outside dining with fans. They handle large groups very well. They also are pretty affordable. They cook ur steak spot on. And their Samon has never been over cooked or dry when I have it . A friend and I both ordered the Cajon Shrimp Pasta. The tomatoes were spoiled and we advised the waiter who said he would let "them" know. No one came to talk to us about our complaint or offered to remake the dishes. After I got home I thought maybe the waiter hadn't said anything so I called and spoke to the manager Johnnie who confirmed the waiter had advised them, thanked me for bringing it to their attention as they were able to replace the spoiled tomato with fresh. I stated I was a bit disappointed that no one came to speak to us about it and he apologized and asked if our dinners were discounted - advised him no we hadn't - and stated he would get with the owners to see what he could do about it and get back with me That was 3 days ago and I've yet to hear anything. Really dissatisfied with my service and my food today. I finished my meal about 5 PM. Order an appetizer that I really didn't want. But I took it cause he seemed desperate to make a sale. Ordered fish with side order of potatoes and hush puppies, WHAT? no coleslaw with fish? Potatoes were cold. Had to wait around 10 minutes for my appetizer.. We stopped here to eat right before going to the chickasha Festival of Lights. I read reviews and saw this was the place to eat and the best in the county. It wasn't. I was very disappointed. The food is mediocre. I would definitely eat in the city and then head to the light show next time. The only true benefit to eating here is that it's right across the streets from the Chickasha Festival of Lights so it's truly very convenient. I ordered the catfish with onion rings, fried okra, and fries and my husband had the chicken fried steaks with mashed potatoes and gravy. Both very disappointing. Would not recommend. Feels like your generic small-town bar and grill, and that's because it mostly is. But the food had some things to say - it is not simply a macrobrew truck with a deep fryer attached kind of place. That said, it was mostly macrobrews- the beer selection was somewhat limited. Not the worst (there's definitely worse), but for a place like this it would be nice to see a bit more with all the great new options out there from smaller producers. The ribs were impressive. Don't skip them. Very much worth a look. Well-seasoned and the sauce was great as well. Definitely our favorite of the night. The queso dip was that familiarly delicious narcotic-level, "hits all the neuroreceptors in the brain even though it's definitely killing you" kind of thing. I'm already feeling terrible about all the unhealthy food I've been eating over Christmas, and this helps me feel better in the moment while simultaneously softening my abs and hardening my arteries. So I don't know if that's *good* but it's tasty. The team there has a lot of hustle, lots of people came through here and they managed it well. read more

I got an order to go, the catfish with garlic potatoes and pinto beans, and it was ready at the exact time quoted over the phone. The restaurant was clean. Staff was friendly. Everything was very good. The catfish was perfectly cooked, moist and flaky, not over or under done. The hush puppies were ok for taste, but were cooked through. At our table we had CFS, the loaded baked potato soup, a club sandwich and shrimp and pasta Alfredo. Everyone loved their food and we enjoyed service from our waiter Alex. We ate supper there Wednesday night 12-15-21. We won't go back. Our waitress was good and we tipped her well. The food on the other hand was awful. On their menu it states that their catfish dinner was their specialty so I got that. It was awful. My wife got the "pizza", said it tasted like lunchroom pizza. My daughter took 3 bites of her buffalo chicken sandwich. Seriously don't waste your time, money, (or stomach). There's plenty of other places to eat in Chickasha. read more

What can I say about A&E..... I'm just in awwe with this place! From the professional and accommodating management team, to the superb and delicious food to the outstanding wait staff! We were on the patio on such a beautiful day and everything ran so smoothly! And if that wasn't enough they actually paid for my track girls food! That was 22 girls that could order anything they wanted to drink or eat off the menu! They treated us like we were special! I mean what a giving and community oriented company!!! Came here from out of town while visiting family in the area. Good, solid food. Nothing outstanding or particularly memorable, but no complaints either. I recommend the catfish, as it was the perfect blend of tender and crispy (not too tough like some fried catfish can get), though they did taste a little overpoweringly like onion for some reason. Peach cobbler was also great. The restaurant handled our party of 10 with ease and hospitality and our server was very attentive. Prices were reasonable and the portion sizes made it worth it. I do wish they had a little more variety in their side items - more than just potato-based products and fried veggies - but what I had was fine. read more
