The owner was kind enough to stop what he was doing and came outside to access the damage. After inspecting it he went inside and came out and cleaned it up without difficulty and removed the white paint leaving our door as if it was never there and it looks great. He wouldn't charge me for it even though I insisted. I can't say enough good things about him and the business. He was very kind and knowledgeable and I would certainly use them for my repairs

While it was being repaired I asked if they could fix dog scratches on the sides of my car and a couple chips of paint on the hood. I offered to pay for this out of my pocket and realize it was not part of the collision damage. I also had a piece on my hatch that had gotten bent under. (Last summer was rough) My car is less than 3 years old and only had 55k miles on it. They had it for 2 weeks. Upon picking up my car I was devastated by the damage done to the paint. When they tried buffing out the scratches they got into my paint and missed over 50% of the scratches. There are buff marks beside the windshield where there was no damage to begin with. The chrome around the window also has buff damage. When I asked about the damage to the paint I was told I only needed to put some wax on it. I took my car to 3 other shops asking about repairing the paint. None could believe I was told it could be fixed with wax. The best quote I got to repair the damage is for $1k. The chips I requested to be repaired had not been touched. As far as the damage repairs paid for by my insurance I am not at all pleased with it either. There are 2 chips of paint missing where the deer hit my car. I was told they weren't repaired because they didn't consider it a part of the claim. There is dirt in the paint and pock marks where the clear coat didn't fill in. When I pointed that out the response was that not even paint from a brand new car is perfect. There is a dent that goes outward on the door where the deer hit. When I took the car back and asked about it I was told that was damage done by someone else who had previously worked on my car and had had the door apart. I am the sole owner of the car and have never had any other work done to it. I was told they would fix it for a $700 charge to my insurance. After washing my car one of the places where there was dirt under the paint came off when I sprayed it with the high power wash. Now I have an area with no paint at all. There was a substance spilled on the grill of the car. When I asked about it they claim it was not done at the shop. It is very clearly a run of some sort that is only on the grill. Not the hood and not the bumper. This could only have happened if it occurred while the grill was off. I asked 3 other body shops and they all told me they believe it is clear coat spilled on it. The tire that hit the front driver side tore off off the molding around the wheel housing. After I got my car back from being repaired I noticed that there is a large gap between there and the door and that the new strip of molding was not attached correctly. I took it back to TBS and asked about it. After he looked at it I was told it apparently hadn't been fixed before the molding was put on and was broken. That they could put in a supplement to my insurance to fix it. I am still confused why the molding was put on over a broken piece. While there I asked about the guard under my car. It had not been replaced and when I asked about it he appeared clueless it needed replaced even though during my first trip there to get the estimate for repairs I had him look under the car to see what was missing and was told it was the guard. Since he didn't look under it again while it was being repaired I am concerned there may be more damage from the rogue tire that no one bothered checking for. Again they offered to file a supplement. There are 2 places where the paint ran. I am upset and disappointed with myself over the whole ordeal. The owners are family friends and I trusted them to take care of my car. They are not on my insurance agents list and when I told them that, I was told not to worry about that that I wasn't required to take it to who my insurance agent suggested that they guarantee their work 100%. Unfortunately that is not true and it is going to cost me thousands.

I did get estimates from a couple of other places, but I knew when I brought the car here for an estimate and met with Steve that I was going to get comprehensive service. He thoroughly inspected the car and took extensive pictures. Also, during the repair process, I managed the process remotely for my parents and got outstanding customer service about how to facilitate the repair process. They even handled getting the rental car since this shop is a direct repair facility for our insurance agent. While I thought this body shop was head and shoulders above any other body shop I've experienced, the one other thing that I thought was a great innovation is that they send you text messages every day or two to alert you to the progress. In fact, our car was finished a day early. Finally, the quality of work appears outstanding and looks like the accident never happened, but their work does carry a lifetime warranty for as long as we own the car. If you ever need a place to get your car fixed, this is a first class option.

Several months later, I noticed that all my floor boards in the back seat were sopping wet every time it rained. I had never had this problem before. After taking it to multiple body shops, and getting many opinions on where the leak may have been coming from, I finally went to a recommended friend whose a mechanic. He spent hours trying to track down the leak, and the last place he looked was under my back bumper that Dennis Powell replaced. He found the leak! There were multiple cracks in the frame of my car where I had been hit, and all the water (about four gallons) had collected in my spare tire compartment, and was flowing down into my floor boards. This was obvious, VISIBLE damage, and Dennis Powell didn't even bother to seal any of the cracks! They simply put on a brand new bumper that looked great, while covering over MAJOR DAMAGE. Now I'm left with drying out my floor boards to avoid mold and rust issues, not to mention the expense of repairs. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I will NEVER recommend this business to anyone!

Browns Mill Auto told me I needed to bring almost 200.00 more... They never contacted me or anything, I never signed any paperwork. I got took for a total of 1,176.00 ( total from both Car shield and browns mill) All I can say is you better watch some of these garages they will take you too!!
