It was the best possible renovation experience. Lauten is competent, meticulously honest, and great at staying in communication throughout the project. Drew and his team finished within our tight time frame, despite the fact that we added an exterior project partway through the renovation. Drew's process worked well for us - a few initial walk-throughs, then he brought in his designer to hear our needs and ideas, and she drew up floor plans while Drew created the detailed budget estimate. We sourced many things ourselves (light fixtures, vanities, tile, etc), and Drew was flexible and helpful during that process. Project manager Lisa is a dream to work with throughout the nitty-gritty parts of a renovation - great at keeping the crew and subcontractors on schedule, and readily responsive to all our texts and emails with questions or minor changes to the plan. Lead carpenter Mike and the rest of the crew were excellent, and had the carpentry skills to do several custom projects as part of the reno that give our home a craftsman feel, including adding built-ins in the closets, making a door for a unique linen closet, an old-fashioned transom window in the bathroom, and a beautiful solid wood shelf in our mudroom. We had a great experience working with Lauten and his team, and plan to use them for our next renovation project soon.

In July/August, we experienced a ceiling leak that caused significant damage throughout our home, impacting two bathrooms, the playroom, entryway hallway, and laundry room. After water mitigation and demolition were completed, we were left needing extensive repairs and full remodels of the affected areas. This was our first time dealing with a major home issue, and navigating insurance, contractors, and conflicting opinions felt overwhelming and stressful. I spoke with several contractors and received multiple estimates, but Alan stood out immediately. He was the first to respond and the first to give clear, straightforward, and honest answers. Beyond that, Alan is genuinely such a fun and easygoing person to work with, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. He has a great eye for design and prioritizes top-notch materials while still being realistic and respectful of budget. He guided us through the design process, helped with material selection, and made thoughtful recommendations every step of the way. Marlon and Emmanuel are incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, and truly kind. They treated our home with care and always took the time to explain what they were doing, which made us feel confident and at ease throughout the process. Fast forward to today, we finally have our home back -- and we couldn't be happier with the results! Not having functional bathrooms and access to certain rooms for months took a toll on our family and our mental health. Click Construction stepped in during a very difficult time and helped restore not just our home, but our peace of mind. My only regret is not finding them sooner. I've attached before-and-after photos so you can see the incredible transformation for yourself. I highly recommend Click Construction to anyone looking for quality work, honesty, and a team that truly cares.

The reason we hired professionals is to smooth down the walls before painting. Even the owner admitted their painters didn't meet their expectations. The owner said his cost is comparable to the surrounding areas. That's fine BUT the contracted painters they hired are warm bodies, not professional painters. The painters rushed the job so they can get paid and move on. The owner said he has to pay insurance in case the painters fall. Mental note: cut out the middle person and hire an experienced painter who owns his company to come out and paint with his crew. Also can inspect and supervise/guide his painters throughout the job. I was told I'd receive white-glove service but they dumped a bucket of water with paint debris on my patio. I'm still trying to take the paint stains off my patio, paint drippings on the floor edges/floors and paint rollers in the paint jars were left for me to clean.
