According to the HOA rule in my community/neighborhood, residents who have registered their vehicles with HOA can "Temporary Parking in Guest Parking Spaces. Resident vehicles displaying a Pass "OR" registered with the Association's managing agent may park in guest parking space for no more than twenty-four (24) hours." On Sunday 28th, A&A towed my vehicle around 4:20 PM/5:00 PM. To emphasize, my vehicle was parked in the guest parking lot around 3:50 PM--less than one hour before it was wrongfully towed. Under A&A's "Unauthorized Parking Violation C.V.C 22658A1, their written statement states that, "No permit visible/HOA required". They didn't even bothered checking with HOA to see if my vehicle was registered or not. They immediately towed my vehicle and made me pay half a grand for a mistake(not caused by me). Furthermore, the night prior to the pick-up date, I called their third party service, and the customer representative gave me a different price quote than the one that I had to pay at the towing shop. (Unprofessional and lack of communications from above to staff). Friends, community, we seriously have to work together to protect our rights!!! Imagine how many people have lost their cars or lost rent/food money because they got scammed or got their vehicles wrongfully towed by these businesses. Seriously, losing money when we're barely making money during the pandemic is an absolute nightmare. Tow breakdown: Tow fee: $230-excuse me, I live 8 minutes/less than 5 miles away from this shop. $90/a night..what? Health issues: Employees walking around and being in the same office as me without a mask. We're in a pandemic and I live with family members. The last thing I wanted is to put their health in danger. Total fee: $500 because y'all didn't see a visible permit. Yet, my car was registered as a resident's car, so I don't need permit to park in the guests parking lot for less than 24 hours. My review is truthful and based off facts & documents. FRAUD AND SCAM - Parked in Village Oaks Safeway parking lot and returned to my car missing. It wasn't just me. 3 other car owners were standing there confused and frustrated because their car was missing. No signs up, illegally towed, and DAMAGED my car. No other option but to get my car out of the lot... they said they towed us because we Safeway wasn't operating 24 hours like they used to. They claimed signs are up stating they'll be towing cars quicker than usual. WHERE??? You know what the crazy thing was? Only the higher end modeled cars were towed. My car got towed last night from wash america on alum rock and i dont know the reason for what. They claimed its because it was there over an hour but thats not true and now that im trying to get it out it starts at 560 and goes up 104 a day after that!! Insane! Other companies usually start around 300 something and charge 50-75 after that but this place is ridiculous. Getting a car towed is never nice. However, past that, it would be good if the people are at least courteous and helpful in the process of retrieving your car. The lady who works/owns this place is one of the worst person that you can deal with. very unhelpful and rude. Went in heavy rain, to get back my wife's car. I'm currently consulting with a lawyer in regards to this. On Thursday I parked in a handy cap spot even though I had my placard on. I went in to get my groceries at Safeway it was already payed for I was just going to go in and pick them up. Not even 20 minutes inside it took me 19 minutes I come outside and my truck is gone. I got worried thinking it had been stolen but no people told me they had seen A&A tow it. I immediately panicked I couldn't understand by they will tow me specially on New Year's Eve. They said this company does that when desperate for business. They plant or scan people even when not in the wrong. Even when I went to the office and showed them proof they wouldn't release my car without paying them $475.00!! I was furious but more disappointed that there's people and businesses like this that are open to scamming people even when they are not in the wrong even if I didn't have my placard which I do and it was showing they are not allowed to tow me they can fine me and give me a ticket but not tow me. I have never had such a horrible experience with a business until today. My husband and I live at an apartment complex that only provides one parking permit, so he often parks his car at a business lot after hours. We left it there a little longer than normal, which was completely our fault. However, my experience with the tow truck driver was ridiculously negative. I drove past as he was beginning to tow the truck, asked politely if it were possible for me to grab my keys to move it. I apologized numerous times. He wouldn't look me in the eye, kept moving, if not faster, and said that my husband and I "haven't learned our lesson." He then proceeded by raising his voice and saying "there are people watching, I suggest you don't touch me" when I was standing at LEAST 6 feet away???? Physical abuse or harm wouldn't have solved anything and that was the last thing on my mind. It was completely humiliating and he was condescending and misogynistic about the entire matter. The fact that the co-owner of the truck is there and saying "hey, let me go grab my keys at the apartment" should hint to any person with common decency that the co-owner was trying to alleviate the situation, not get in a physical argument. I ran to my apartment (which is 20 feet away...) and he zoomed off. I understand we were at fault for leaving the car there, but he was completely disrespectful about the entire matter. read more

Had the worst experience with these people while helping my elderly aunt retrieve her Toyota Camry. The 'president' Delilah assured us (over the phone) that she would work with us financially due to my aunt being on a fixed income and the price being over $1200. Delilah backed out at the last minute leaving the office for the weekend only to show up while we were picking up the car to be the biggest jerk ever. She yelled that she never made any promises and that this isn't a customer service business so she didn't care what happened. Her office smelled of urine and was about as dirty as I have ever seen. My cousin works in the towing business and he warned us these guys were the worst and they lived up to that easily. This is my first experience working with any towing company. I usually try to park in actual garages but I guess we all make stupid mistakes at some point in our lives. My only word of caution with these folks is: If your car has been towed by any of these folks, make sure and CHECK YOUR SIGNAL LIGHTS to see if they are working before you leave their lot. My signal lights were working perfectly before my vehicle was towed. I picked up the vehicle an hour after I figured out it was towed. I work for a security company and I had to call then 3 times for the same property tonight. The dispatcher was pleasant and the tow driver responded quickly. Unfortunately, the tow driver was only able to lift one car before a swarm of residents appeared with the vehicle owner. The vehicle owner was able to get their vehicle back but with a drop fee attached that is reasonable. The tow driver was respectable but still able to hold his ground in the mists of arguments and upset residents. The car was going to be towed for parking in a no-parking zone. "I'm a fan" may be a stretch. I'm not a fan of being towed. However, it was my fault for parking where I shouldn't have parked. Nonetheless, A&A was polite, respectful, informative, and fast. * The car was available at their facility very soon after it was towed, and the City was immediately informed so when I called into the police number to find out what happened, it showed up on their system and I was informed where to go and what their number was. * The facility was a 10 minute cab drive from where I got towed downtown between 6th and 7th st in San Jose * The rates were comparable to what the city of San Jose charges you if they impound their car * The woman I talked to on the phone was polite * The guy I interacted with there to get back my car was very polite and gave me some pointers as well: They patrol every hour, and they make announcements in the grocery store or other establishment prior to towing a vehicle so if you ARE actually shopping in there you will have the chance to get out and prevent it from being towed * There was no line * The place itself is dirty and run-down... but it's a towing place. I didn't really expect much. * Their bathroom in the waiting room doesn't smell bad, surprisingly. It's not glorious but it's not terrible. Overall, I really can't complain about this place. And given the lines and stress of being towed into the City Impound, I would take this experience over dealing with the City any day. read more

I agree with Aaron--these guys are scammers. They install a small sign of time restriction on each entrances of a big commercial lot of Grocery Outlet next to San Jose city hall. As drivers from busy streets can not park on the street to read those small characters on signs, they are not aware they can not park over an hour. Once customers park over an hour, AA towing company tow away their cars and charge them $300+ to return their cars, even they just tow the car. They are practicing predatory towing. My car was illegally towed from the Safeway parking lot AFTER they put up a sign near it even though it was parked there before the sign was put up. I've been parking I that same spot along side the curb ever since I moved in.
