Luis from D&M Towing came twice for my roadside assistance Luis from D&M Towing came twice to fulfill my roadside assistance request through GEICO. Once it was a dead battery by a park. He was very thoughtful about getting all details in advance on the call and actually came with a new battery instead of simply doing a jump start. My battery was 5 yrs old and he offered a new one at a very competitive rate. He actually advised me on what benefits are covered by GEICO and how I can make the most of my policy. Another time he came for a flat tire and he immediately identified me. We got a good friendly relation going and he also recommended repair shops which could replace my tires at a competitive rate over going to a big store. Luis has always been very helpful all the time. He advised and makes recommendations without his own personal gain. This past Monday our Mazda SUV wouldn't start, and jumping it wasn't working so we planned to have it towed to a shop the following morning. We were given the number for D&M and, as I often do, checked Yelp. A lot of recent reviews showed five stars for a driver named Luis, so we gave a call for a tow and Luis happened to be the driver we got. He asked me to try turning on the car for him, which it did the non-crank attempt it had been doing, and then asked to see under the hood. He was able to assess and explain that our old battery was the wrong size (too small) for our make and model, and showed us the corrision and acid damage as a result. He was able to get us the correct size battery and did an awesome job of getting the terminals and base cleaned up to make sure the new battery had a clean start. The whole time he was enthusiastically explaining what he was doing and why, and asked us to verify each step so I can say honestly he was very thorough and determined to get everything set right. Saved us a tow to the shop and never had to leave our driveway. Thank you, Luis, we're so very grateful for all that you did! read more

I had a flat tire and called my insurance Geico 's roadside assistance . They dispatched D& M Towing service out. I had to wait for 4 hours ( so ridiculous!) I Kept calling D& M. They said they could not call me, nor reach me .. I did not receive any call, nor missed call, nor text from anyone . Probably The reception in this area where I waited was not too good. So they did not show up at the location as given by Geico. Why they did not just show up and looked for my car and my license plate as referenced by Geico. It is un-acceptable for D&M to make a paid customer waited for 4 hours for a roadside assistance call. Just unacceptable. Very very bad way to conduct business. read more

5-star experience with Luis from D&M Towing. I had a collision on a Sunday morning over the holiday weekend. Called GEICO and they requested tow services to arrive in an hour. Luis showed up within 20 minutes with a courtesy call beforehand. He was professional from the beginning and helped explain steps along the way. The auto body shop GEICO sent us to was closed, but fortunately Luis helped drop my car off at another shop nearby that was open. He gave me a checklist of anticipated repairs I should familiarize myself with, gave recommendations for what to do next, and dropped me off at a nearby rental car agency. I have never had a car accident before. I am fortunate for the excellent customer service especially given that many more things could have gone wrong, but Luis helped every step of the way. His sense of humor was much appreciated in this situation that could have been more stressful than it already was. Hope he gets a promotion that is much deserved! Many thanks again! read more

My car died on my this past friday. My insurance company contact D&M towing and they arrived within an hour. The driver was comptent and very well versed in the safety of towing. My car is an AWD car so I was nervious. He put the wheels on a dolly so the entire car was off the ground. He dropped it off exactly where I asked and did a perfect job. This was one of those beyond great service experiences. Broke down in a very dangerous spot on the highway. I was lucky d and m was dispatched (the dispatcher was professional and awesome too) and even luckier to get Dave. He risked life and limb (literally) all with a smile to get my car out safely. He followed up with a phone call with all the details about how he left my car at the dealership and filled out all the paperwork for me (it was after hours). He then sent a text, with detail about how he returned my towing items back to where they belonged. I rarely ever leave bad reviews but this one in particular had to be addressed. The receptionist lady was super rude to us while on the phone. We have lived in our apartment over a year and not once has a car gotten towed for being in that area. We told the lady about our situation and she just laughed threatening to send another tow truck to tow the other cars. She told us that our guest must be unlucky and was blatantly rude about it. Now I've been in customer service almost my whole life and not once have I ever gotten treated so rudely, I don't think anyone who is getting their car towed ever wants to hear that they must be unlucky. I Never write reviews and this act of kindness deserves a shout out! so here it goes BIG SHOUT OUT to Carlos Castillo the truck driver from D & M Towing. Today I was not having a good day like all bad days my bad luck came in three's, from being late to work, forgetting my wallet at home, and running on EMPTY in gas with no time to turn back I risked it. as work was over I rushed to the home to pick up my wallet and try to make it back to a gas station before my car would die. Of course this bad day has not ended so of course my car decided to die in the middle of no where nowhere near a gas station. i had no wallet to even go get gas what was i suppose to do. Trying my luck i waved down a passing Tow truck driver in hope he would have a little bit of gas in his truck to spare me. He did not at that moment i literally had no other options i couldn't even dare to ask him for help i had no money to give him!!!!! and in that moment my luck changed. I'm not sure if he seen it in my face but this kind man offered to help. if it wasn't for him i have no idea what i would have done! thank you D&M Team this differently reflects on the company. First of all I called this place after I got an alert from GEICO that they were suppose to come tonight 12/7 but I wasn't near my car as everyone was driven home for safety. I called the dispatcher to let them know because I didn't want anyone coming out when no one was at the car trying to be considerate and I got the worse human being ever in their side! Firstly, your business already has a bad name because you prey on everyday people and when people need help, you take advantage of them! I called and tried to help you out and didn't want someone sent out when no one was at the car and then you hang up on me telling me that I need to call back tomorrow morning! This towing company is untrustworthy and should be avoided if at all possible. They were scheduled by my insurance to tow my car from my home where it was disabled. My husband was outside waiting. I was told they would text when they were due to arrive, which they didn't. I received a call from a unknown number while in the restroom and called back immediately. They hung up on me twice. I finally got through and was told the driver had come and left because no one answers the phone. It was maybe two minutes between their call and mine. My husband never saw a tow truck come by. They refused to send the driver back, probably because he was never there in the first place. Very shady. From the reviews it seems they do this with insurance claims - possibly some sort of fraud scheme to get paid for work they don't or just pretend to do. read more
