My car was stuck in a yard a few inches from a paved driveway after a lot of the snow melted, so I just needed it towed onto the driveway so that I could get out. When the gentleman arrived to tow my car, he hooked it up and pulled it out within about 4 minutes. It did take a little over an hour for him to get to me, but I received live tracking of where the tow truck was so that I knew when he would be there. Overall, great service. I used them to tow my car 5 miles from Verdi to West Reno. They charged me $246.03 for a 5 mile tow In a non-emergency (from a parking lot to service center, scheduled, middle of the day service. They initially led me to believe the cost for the 5 mile tow would be $52.60. They never clarified or confirmed the much higher price (~$200 higher) at the pickup time or when they charged my card. On September 4, 2024 on my way to work i stopped for gas and my ball joint broke. I contacted my insurance company at 9:40am completed request with towing company around 9:45am for a tow and A&A Towing was dispatched arrival time was around 12:40. I had requested a flatbed because I was advised of that being the best towing method in this situation (to avoid more damage). When the guy showed up, he remarked "oh no one of these" and made a call. Once done with the call he started, "they always try to blame us if something goes wrong with this type of tow". after the call he proceed to the car got in did something got out lifted the car and turned the damaged tire (into a straight position). He then proceeds with the tow by latching both of my front tires and then pulls them up to tow not placing the car on the flatbed. Thinking well he is the processional in the situation I just watched has he drove off pulling my car to the auto shop. Once at the shop turns out that my axle was broken, I was in shock. So, I wanted to research the situation I went to the internet and learned that you need to place a car with a broken ball joint on a flatbed period to avoid more damage. So, i call A&A Towing and spoke with the most unprofessional individual (young lady???) she spoke to me as if should know about the mechanics of a broken ball joint and said ."that they tow cars with broken ball joints all the time by pulling them" she would not let me speak was very rude and nasty then disconnected the call. I will be advising my insurance company that they should not be using this company,,,,,, now i have to pay more money to get my car fixed. I have roadside assistance with All-State and it is so hard to use their service in an emergency. All-State dispatched a tow truck because I was on the side of the road out of gas. Kim from A and A towing was like a 911 operator. She was concerned for my welfare and my family I left in the car to walk over a mile for gas. I got picked up by a stranger to take me to get gas. Kim stayed on the phone with me to make sure I was safe. She told me it is her job but I think she is an Angel! read more

In November of 2019, my dealership's roadside assistance sent A&A out to pick up my car. The driver took my car to the dealership and drove under a low clearance bar - after I told him that my SUV on the back of his flat bed truck would not fit under the bar. I was having a terrible morning, my 2020 shut down on 270 E on the way to the car dealership. I called to have a tow, waited and waited for them to come for him to say he couldn't tow it. By this time I'm at the dealership and when I tell them the other tow will be another hour and half. The dealership stepped in and called A & A towing. By the time I got back to my car sitting on the freeway, A & A towing had it up on the tow truck! He absolutely knew what he was doing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My insurance contracted with AA to take my car for repairs. I had no knowledge of them at all. They are dishonest and lie no doubt to get more. They are incompetent and drop F bombs and threaten the customer. I have NEVER written a bad review but this company is so bad it is scary. They LIE and make up requirements and have all sorts of demands that both my insurance and the place where my car was said are not requirements and did not need to be done. It is possible it is some kind of con that preys on people when they need a tow and are vulnerable DO NOT USE THEM. All insurance should avoid them because what they do is very suspect and the tactics scary and dishonest. They make up "requirements" for a tow that are far outside actual industry standards and requirements. 1st they try to intimidate with threats about what they will do your car and then when you say "hey wait a sec what are you saying? my insurance said XYZ" then they launch into abuse and then when you say no I paid they just tell you to F off and abandon the car They had the WORST and most scary sleezy tactics I have ever seen. This has been an awful experience! Pro tow which holds the contract with the City of Columbus for towing vehicles subcontracts with this company so there was no choice involved. They damaged my vehicle during the toe process bending the tow bar. It took four+ days to repair. Mark claimed that a front end alignment took 3 days to complete???? I set up a time with the lady and she said someone would call at 9pm to see exactly where I was at at the stadium. I waited and nobody showed up. I believe that the negative reviews might be the fault of Allstate motor club, not A&A. I had trouble communicating with Allstate. The customer service was coming out of Florida. For starters if I could leave zero stars I would. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a towing company. I called Allstate motor club around 1:30 PM to get a tow truck out to my car at the impound lot. When I spoke to them I let them know that I had the keys and my fiancé who was with the car did not and I had two different reps tell me that the towing company would not need the keys to tow the car. I was then sent a series of text messages around 2 PM telling me that A&A Towing would be coming to get my car at around 3:21 PM. Shortly after I received those text messages a lady named Kim from A&A towing called me to inform me that not only did they need me to be there with the car but that they would need the keys to the car to tow it. So after getting off the phone with my fiancé about him needing to come back and get the keys. I then called Kim back at A&A towing to just ask her why it is that they needed the keys to the car since two different reps at Allstate informed me that they would not need the keys. Kim was super disrespectful and rude with me on the phone when I was nothing but polite to her, she kept cutting me off on the phone, over talking me, wouldn't even allow me to ask her the question that I wanted to ask her and then proceeded to hang up on me after threatening me that she was going to cancel my tow. I then proceeded to call back to ask to speak to the supervisor she then told me that the supervisor was out for the day and that she was the only one there, when I asked her what her name was she very rudely yelled Kim and then proceeded to be super rude trying to explain to me that she wasn't the driver and then hung up on me again after I asked for her to not cancel my tow. At around 3:24 PM I called A&A towing back to ask her around what time the tow truck was going to be there since they were supposed to be there at 3:20 PM she then lied to me and told me that Allstate called and canceled them and that a different towing company was going to come and pick up my vehicle. I then called Allstate spoke to my rep and she informed me that she did not cancel my original towing and when she put me on a brief hold and called A&A towing Kim admitted to her that she's the one that canceled my tow on her end. WHAT?!? Im confused how this place is still open after the experience I just had with them. Kim is a nasty lady who has no business being on the other end of these calls. I have newborn twins who rely on me and me having a car to take them to their doctors appointments and when most people need a tow they need kindness on the other end of the phone not someone being nasty because you're just asking them a question. Hope she is having a better day than how she treated me. Absolutely unacceptable and will be going in to file a complaint with the owner. read more

Do not be like me. You see all these bad reviews & you think "oh it can't actually be that bad"... IT IS! Not only did it take 5 hours for my car to be towed, after FINALLY "completing" the tow they did not deliver it to the dealership. Instead they kept it on their lot for the weekend and blocked my number. As you can imagine, it is slightly concerning to find out that your car is not where they tell you it is and then you are unable to even get in contact with the people who had it last. Well, after calling from another number asking where they put my car, Kim rudely says "it's on the truck. We are bringing it there later" & abruptly hangs up. Two hours later, my car is delivered to the dealership and of course it gets worse. Their driver, Alex, or whoever else dealt with my car lost the key. While they claim they delivered it to me, they tell the dealership I never gave them it (a blatant lie)... so long story short, now in order to even get my car looked at I have to buy a new key & this towing company takes no responsibility for any of it. So yes, their 1 star overall rating is deserving. Honestly it should be zero stars & they should be out of business. If your insurance picks them to tow you, demand they use another company ASAP. read more
