THE DRESS DIDN' T FIT . In a panic to find a Fabulous Seamstress? Worry no more! Simona worked her magic and my bridesmaids dress now it fits like a glove. She took in a couple of inches around my bust area was a little tricky since the back has a zipper and pockets on both sides. She worked her magic zipper and pockets aligned perfectly. I asked for the impossible and got it! I came in on a Thursday towards closing time in hopes the seamstress would be able to hem and do some mild alterations on my daughter's prom dress, knowing the reality of it being a day away and the type of sequined dress it was would make the request difficult. She measured my daughter, pinned it up and told us she could have it ready Saturday afternoon (the day of prom) but would try to have it done by that morning, if possible. She called me Friday towards closing that the dress was ready. She work extra hard to get it to us on time and also did such an amazing job on the hem and bust alteration as well. Let me first say that I've used this place before and was pleased. That was why I took my daughter's prom dress there for hemming. The price was very expensive and cash only, but I understood what was involved in the process. They measured my daughter and I called to confirm the conversation and what was to be done in the dress. Over a week later I go to pick up the dress, she was just starting to work on it on the pickup day! I was polite and said no problem and came back the next day.I come back and the hemming is wrong! She tells me that the dress had a train. This dress did not have a train and we were specific about what we wanted. She actually only hemmed the front and sides. Never touched the back. It was literally the same amount of length on the back as when we brought it. I believe she ran out of time and decided to make up the train explanation.What prom dress needs a huge train! And of course with paying cash , there is no recourse. So disappointing read more

I took in some pants to be hemmed and shirts to be stitched near the breast line. For 3 pieces I was charged $40 which I think was a little too high. My shirt was $15 to just close it a little so I wouldn't be exposed as much. I think due to Covid, she is just by herself and told her I needed my clothes in about 7 days, which is definitely enough time. I never received a call on the 7th day, so I called and they had not been done. These clothes were interview clothes for the next day and that rubbed me the wrong way. She is polite and the work she did was well, but for the time when I need my clothes done, I will have to go somewhere else. read more

Won't be going back here . I was told my dress for a wedding would be ready on a certain day. I go to pick it up, it hasn't even been started yet. All it needed was a hem. They asked me to come back in a few hours , well I didn't have a few hours as I had to go to the wedding rehearsal. I was inconvenienced BIG time as I had to have someone else pick it up for me later. Also, only got $5 off for this inconvenience. They had my dress for two weeks and couldn't even finish it on time. I had dropped off some jeans and a shirt for her to fix. When I went to pick up the shirt was still not ready so I picked up my jeans and she told me to come back. Mind you I had paid for my order when I brought it in I paid $90. I then went in today to pick up my shirt she said that she cleaned the racks and no longer has it. I explain to her that why didn't she give me a call she was gonna throw out my shirt. She said she lost the ticket. I asked for a refund she wanted to refund me $20 I then got her to hit 35$. I don't think it's fair how she did this after all I had went to pick up my jeans it was not my fault it wasn't ready. I was very upset as this is a very expensive shirt made out of Jewls. read more

She was able to do everything I wanted which included making the huge train on the back disappear without cutting it, adjusting the top to where it felt secure on my shoulders and taking in the sides along the torso and chest area. so much work was needed and she did a beautiful job. I came in last minute and it only took her a few days. I didn't have a chance to try it on until I got it home as my wedding was out of town and I was not disappointed. My daughter took a dress for a simple bust adjustment. When my daughter told me how much she was charged I went ballistic $75. I decided to pick up the dress I was charged $10 when I picked up the dress before it was worked on. I wish she would have given my daughter an estimate before taking her dress. I'm sure they do a great job but a simple bust adjustment was too expensive. The dress didn't cost that much. Nevertheless I did the job myself with my beginners sewing skills. *as you can see by the owners response to my review its the same attitude I received when I told her I was there to pick up the dress. It's sounds difficult when detailing the work. My mother was a seamstress for over 50 years so I have an idea of the simple stitching and unstitching that had to be done. Simona is absolutely amazing!!! I used her services for my wedding, and everything was perfect and timely. She let out the top around the sides, shortened the shoulder straps, added some hooks and buttons that were missing from when I originally bought the dress, and added a bustle. I visited her three times with these above separate requests and each visit she had the dress done within two weeks.
