My first time using a car service in Denver (and mind you I'm not a regular to Denver), I didn't find them super easy. The dispatch hung up on me 3 times and didn't call me back after he said he would locate the driver. The dispatch wasn't particularly helpful in explaining where we were to meet the car. He kept asking what door I was at which would have made sense if I was familiar with the Denver set up. He didn't explain that we should go out to the taxi area nor did he say that the exiting terminal doors had 3-digit numbers on them. When the car/driver did show, it was a new and very clean black suburban with bottled water waiting in the arm rest. The driver was impeccably groomed and very nice. read more

The WORST limo experience I have ever had in my life. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!! 1. It started off with the driver being an HOUR late. He refused to answer his phone when dispatch and our party tried to reach him. 2. No apology when he finally did show up, in fact he argued with us. He had the worst attitude I've ever witnessed. We should have fired him on the spot, but we had a large group ready for a bachelorette party. So we get in the limo. 3. When some of the party wanted to be taken home partway through the night, he refused. He then spent 20 minutes arguing with our party members on the street about why it would take him too long. We tried to explain that we knew exactly how long it took to get to our home, but he told us he knew more because he was the driver. Again, I could not believe this man. 4. He finally got in the limo, and drove the three women the wrong direction from our homes. He stopped at 49th and Federal, in a gas station parking lot, and told us that another limo driver, "his friend", was going to come pick us up and take us home. When the other limo driver arrived, he told us he would take us home...for a charge. 5. The dispatch office hung up on us several times as we tried to call and tell him our situation. The dispatcher said he would come get us himself, but at that point, we've been on the street with two separate shady drivers, and a dispatcher who was just as bad. No way are we getting in one of the limos at this point. 6. We ended up having one of our spouses drive to 49th and Federal at 1:00 in the morning to come get us. This Limousine Company should be shut down. I am disgusted by this company, and I am going to tell everyone I know. It was a little weird that they wanted the money upfront when we booked them. Now I know why. We are currently in the process of disputing the charges with the credit card company. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! read more

I've used this service about 8 times for trips to/from the airport. Always on time. They are awesome and cost the same, sometimes less, than a taxi. Particularly cool is that you can just email with your flight times and they send a quick confirmation back. All set. Then the driver shows up at your door 5min early and treats you like royalty. Why not roll like a big shot, get extra time to 'work', and never have to worry if you will make it to the airport on time? read more

Had a good experience. Car was right on time and called while I was waiting for my bag to come off the plane. As an added bonus, the owner of the company greeted me in person and introduced me to my driver. He's a kind gentleman and looks great in a suit! Car was immaculate clean with water and newspapers at your disposal. We had about a 45 minute trip ahead of us, but it stretched into two hours because of traffic. Driver never complained. Fantastic experience with this company. My flight went through several delays and the driver was exactly where they told me they would be at the exact time they said they would be. The driver was very friendly and the vehicle was immaculate and very comfortable. The rate from the airport to the Tech Center was $72 including tip which is cheaper than most taxis and nearly all other car companies as near as I can tell. I use this service weekly for business travel and I have been extremely pleased. Booking is convenient and simple and is always followed by an e-mail confirmation. Drivers are always punctual, friendly, respectful and well groomed. Cars are very nice, always clean and supplied with bottled water, mints and magazines. Prices are lower than other area limo services that I researched. Receipts are provided via e-mail within a day or two of service. Very disappointed! Let me explain our "service experience" with them. I called them the other night approx. 8 days before our trip to order a limo or a suburban to pick our family up to go to the airport. We are going on a vacation we've been saving and planning for now for a long time. We live about an hour and 20min. That is NOT counting any time during rush hour or if you run into an accident (which I have before). The VERY rude (foreign man) kept 'trying' to argue and tell me that it only took an hour. BS! My husband sometimes travels for work so we drive it quite a bit (during non rush hour). My issue is this.......I AM THE CUSTOMER and if I say I want to be picked up and a certain time then LISTEN TO ME AND SHUT THE F UP! He finally agreed (reluctantly) to pick us up a little earlier than he wanted and I really had no choice. Well, my husband was pissed and called him back 2 days later and told him he insisted on being picked up 30 mins. earlier than what the guy wanted to do. The rude man told him that he would have to charge us an extra $20 because it was earlier in the morning than they work. Again BS! Finally he pissed my (usually very tolerant) husband off so much he decided to cancel our reservation. Smart! I mean really, if a company is so difficult to work with BEFORE they even come out, then what will they be like later. My frustration with the man is that we live up in the mountains far away from the airport and he wanted to leave no wiggle room for unforeseen things i.e. the limo driver gets lost, traffic issues, loading up a family and their luggage etc. Bottom line for me is this: If we were late because he wanted to push back the amount of time that my husband and I both felt we really needed and we missed our flight then we would loose our expensive tickets and we would loose our hotel room because it would be canceled if we didn't show up. No way! It sure wouldn't affect the limo company at all, but it would ruin it for us and our hard earned dollars would have been wasted. I researched this company before booking with them and was encouraged by what I read on Yelp. We were totally treated with the upmost disrespect by this company and would never use them, or recommend them to anyone. Sad. I think companies need to think a bit more in this day and age with their business reputations. We decided to drive and park there instead which will be a bit less, but I was gladly willing to pay to have use of their service. In the end, it will most likely just be a better decision to do it ourselves since we have such an early flight and then we will have control over leaving on time. After recently finding myself without a way to the airport and with only a few hours to spare before my super early morning flight, I called A Active Limousine. I found them using Google and was pleased that they had someone staffing the phones 24 hours a day so that I could make a reservation. My ride arrived promptly the next morning and my driver was professional, friendly, and made my ride safe and comfortable. There were even complimentary water bottles in the cup holders in the back seat. On my trip back to Denver, I decided to call them again and was once again pleased with my choice. A Active Limousine costs just slightly more than a cab between the airport and downtown and is well worth the extra investment for the peace of mind. If I could give negative stars I would. Not only were they an hour late arriving, the driver claimed his phone wouldn't get signal so neither dispatch nor my friend could get a hold of him. At our first stop we asked him to be back in exactly one hour. He was fifteen minutes late. When part of our group wanted to go home he went the wrong direction and ended up leaving 3 women on a corner on the opposite side of town. I've had a fantastic experience with this limo company. I've used them several times to get to and from the airport and they have always been extremely prompt. I love that I can text my flight info and get an instant confirm back. My driver, Jay, is great. He's always waiting for me at the airport and he's perfectly on time to pick me up from home. A Active Limousine saved us one evening when a party bus we had scheduled to go to Red Rocks broke down. They quickly came to the rescue and set us up with a nice stretch hummer limo with TVs and a great sound system with only 1 hour notice! The driver was on time and very friendly. Had been quoted $152 by Boston Coach for DIA to Aurora one-way transport - non starter.. Found A Active on Yelp and wrote an email requesting a 12/23 DIA pickup...had confirmation reply within 15 minutes. Pickup was great...especially since baggage was delayed and driver timed arrival at the door perfectly. Cost was barely more than taxi and we had a late model Suburban as our vehicle. Driver was very courteous and service was fantastic. We were so impressed with our DIA pickup that we made a return reservation for 12/27 and had the same great service - rapid confirmation and early arrival at location for return trip to DIA. Would HIGHLY recommend these guys for any DIA-related ground transportation. So happy to have discovered them not only for myself....but for my Denver relatives who have wanted a reliable car service to use for years. read more

Very professional. I was extremely pleased with their services. My daughter had to go from Boulder to Denver several times in the evenings after workshops and they were always there 15 minutes earlier than scheduled. We never had to worry about them being late or no shows. They were always very prompt responding to our requests. Billing was easy. They were very well dressed, friendly and courteous. Polite on the phone, ON TIME, costs around the same as a taxi for a private car and the driver couldn't of been nicer.

We arrived on time. The driver stated he was outside, because he could not leave the car. We waited outside and saw no one. We called the driver and he stated he was on the East side of the airport and we were on the West. He stated we would have to come to him. We lugged our bags across the airport. We arrived at the hotel and the driver stated it would be $78, but we were quoted $65 on the phone. An argument ensued and we had to talk to a supervisor at A Active before the driver would accept the $65 and give us our bags. A totally miserable experience. read more

We were pleased with A Active Limousine. Jay picked us up from the airport, leaving a message that he was there when we arrived, and waited for us even though we had to go through the wait and hassle of a lost bag. He also didn't balk at the fact we had a booster seat and 5 year old. The car was clean and nice and service professional. The rate was very reasonable and as stated in our phone communication before the trip. The only complaint was I had to ask for a confirmation e-mail that he had us booked (I wanted to be sure!) and the first attempt to call had a bad connection but he called me back right away. I used A Active Limousine for the first time due to the heavy snow the day before and more snow coming. They showed up exactly on time at 4:30 in the morning, and it was a very pleasant drive in without having to worry about the weather, icey roads, ect. The car was a Lincoln Towncar, and the driver was very professional. On the way back, I emailed to see if they could again pick me up, and they texted and called to be sure they were there right when I walked out the door. I appreciate the consideration, and considering the time and cost for parking it is almost the same as driving to the airport if it is a longer trip than 1 day, and time is precious when you are traveling a great deal.
