Our driver was Joseph and he was amazing! He was very kind and offered to make stops should we need them and the car was clean and he had waters for us. However, I booked a car with two toddler car seats as I was traveling with my 18 month old twins. The information dispatch sent to Joseph said NO car seats even though my booking confirmation said car seats. When I called to complain they said yeah he messed up and they'd try to be more careful for other bookings and that was it. It was also too early in the morning to stop anywhere for car seats and we were an hour and a half from Denver where the car seats were. If you're traveling with kids I don't recommend booking with them. read more

Went on website, booked and paid for accommodations. Received confirmation email. Then there was a call stating there was no availability. I asked for a manager as my cousins and I already booked our day full of excursions. The rep, Artem, was very rude and told me "it was not his problem" that the website did not specify unavailable times. This was AFTER we called to book and was told we needed to reserve via the website. Artem ensured us that there was availability prior to us reserving online. We are infuriated with this poor customer service, lack of concern and inconsistencies. We DO NOT recommend. Now, how do we get our money back?! We had a very mixed experience with Colorado Transfer. Communication was terrible at best. We didn't receive confirmation of our trips until 7-8pm the evening before travel and then despite confirming details, the car showed up more than two hours later than confirmed. The driver on the first leg was fine, but on the return, the driver was watching a movie on his phone while driving on the switchback roads. I can't recommend them despite wanting to support small business. read more

I have used many drivers in the past and have to say Joseph is one of the best drivers I've ever had. He was early, did not rush us at all, was waiting for us outside when we came out of the hotel and took care of all of our bags right away while we settled into the van, not asking us to lift a finger. He was extremely welcoming and let us know to let him know if we needed anything. He stopped half way for us to stretch our legs and use the bathroom and was extremely accommodating. He was so friendly towards us and caring. His driving was awesome. He got us where we needed to be in a timely manner but felt so safe I almost even fell asleep!! We recently had a pretty lousy experience with Colorado Transfer. It started out great at DIA. Our driver arrived on time in a brand-new Escalade that we had selected. The price was reasonable for this luxury SUV and our driver was super nice. So far so good. However at drop-off 3 hours later in Beaver Creek, CO, our driver informed us that the 20% tip we pre-paid online actually didn't go to her, but to the company instead. I was shocked, but I had no reason not to believe her (we just spent 3 hours with her and she was quite lovely). I felt bad her company was stealing her tips, so I gave her a hefty 2nd tip in cash and figured I'd sort it out with the company directly on the way home. Fast-forward to the return trip, we got a call from Colorado Transfer saying that our luxury SUV had broken down earlier and asked if sending a van instead was okay with us. I imagined a very uncomfortable sprinter van with tight upright seats and rightfully said no, that's not acceptable. We paid for a comfortable SUV for a long drive and I asked them to make different arrangements so that we would get what we paid for (I was being polite and reasonable I thought). The dispatcher called back and said the van was all we'd get, that we were "lucky" he wasn't leaving us stranded, and that the van actually cost more so there would be no discount. I said that the van costs more because it holds more than 10 people (upon counting there's actually 14 super uncomfortable seats in that van!). The dispatcher said he was going to "help me out" by not charging us for the 10 extra seats we weren't going to use. At this point, I should have realized I wasn't dealing with a rational human being, but of course I was upset and in a bit of disbelief. I didn't want my wife and my kids stranded so I accepted the van but asked for a discount if they really couldn't send us the SUV we paid for. He hemmed and hawed about how much more expensive the van was (again because it held more people even though we didn't need the 10 extra seats, but that was totally lost on him). He finally offered me a $66 discount and I gave up. And boy were we right when the van showed up. The seats were nearly upright, thin, and super uncomfortable. And of course the ride was an hour and a half longer due to traffic, so we got to enjoy the uncomfortable van for a quite a bit extra! At least our driver was super nice, we enjoyed talking with him, and we got to the airport safely. Now, to close out this review, let's circle back to the $100 tip we dubiously gave our first driver. While I had the dispatcher on the phone sorting out the broken-down SUV, I told him that our original driver said the company was keeping our prepaid gratuities. He of course denied this. I of course said I wanted one of the two gratuities refunded. He said no, it was my fault for paying twice! Again, not sure why I was expecting him to be reasonable! This of course sent me into orbit. His employee told me a lie (or at the very least it was a massive misunderstanding he wasn't willing to rectify) and his answer was that it was my fault for being duped by his driver. It finally dawned on me that I was the fool for thinking that logic and rational thought was possible here. I finally gave up and moved on. But it gets better. When we finally got back to the airport on the return drive, there was a man waiting for me. He was the original driver's husband who angrily handed me back the fraudulent tip. What a wild end to this fiasco! I'm now done with this review and can't believed I wasted 30 minutes on the play-by-play here of our lousy experience with Colorado Transfer.
