I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Gene, Brett and the crew. These are people you want to do business with- professional, reasonable and concerned about quality. They did exactly what they promised to do and more. I had 5 tress removed- one that was old and huge. They safely did the job and left the yard immaculate. Tree removal and tree stump removal. I can't say enought things about what a great job they do. After removing the large tree in my back yard they cleaned the yard up better than when they came. After removing the tree stump in front yard with its mass of growth and roots, they again cleaned the front yard, driveway and street and left it all cleaner than when they started. I was surprised at how affordable all this work was. Don't hesitate to call them. read more

Gene and his crew removed 2 large 35-40 laurel oak trees (diseased and at the end of their life) from the front of our property, too close to my building. They arrived on time, were very professional and most importantly handled the job with safety in mind! The stumps were ground and the property was leveled when the job was completed. They cleaned up all the remnants of the trees and left my property just as they found it. It looks as if they were never there. Great job! I highly recommend this excellent company! read more

A Absolute Tree Service - 2 large laurel oaks - Tree Services Near Me - Palm Harbor, Florida

We hired A Absolute to remove two trees that had come down in the recent hurricane. My wife and I were extremely impressed by the service we got. Gene and his crew did a stupendous job. We were impressed by how efficient they were, the equipment they brought, the attention to every detail, the friendliness of the crew, and how they left our place spotless. Last but not least, their price was fair and reasonable. We would hire this company again in a heartbeat and will make sure to refer others to this company. read more

Call Gene or Brett. They are the owners and KNOW THEIR STUFF. Used these guys and they are UTTERLY professional and the real thing. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. Literally right in the middle (an extra $300) - but other guy was illegal. See below. The entire team is top-notch and the owners were on site during the massive tree removal. Came in and brought a team, all in uniform, all professional, and rolled in with a convoy and all the top equipment. Their trucks reached over my garage into my back yard and so save my lawn and property. They extracted this massive tree and the place looked batter than when they arrived. No damage to lawn, bushes, property, etc. One thing we learned is that with these tree companies, you MUST ask and VERIFY that the company has insurance to cover your property (should have $1 million in coverage) as well as a current workers compensation insurance. If one of their workers were to fall out of a tree on your property and they don't have proper coverage, YOU WILL LIKELY BE SUPPORTING THAT PERSON FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE. So when they say the have it, or wave it in front of your face, you must actually call and verify. This is extremely expensive insurance and companies will take out a policy, get the evidence (proof of insurance) and then cancel the policy. This is how some companies "save money". One of these companies came and gave a quote - which was actually exactly the same as A-Absolute. So just beware, stay alert and do your homework. These guys have done trees for our neighborhood and are trusted. read more

If you need tree trimming, tree removal, or just a good honest opinion about your trees, I HIGHLY recommend you call A-Absolute Tree Services. They are incredible!!! I don't write reviews often, but after this job was complete, I couldn't wait to give A-Absolute Tree Services the 5-star review they deserved. We had 2 giant oaks in our backyard which were badly damage by a microburst and had to be removed. A-Absolute Tree Services did an outstanding job. The whole team was very kind, professional, hardworking and highly skilled. When I thought the job was complete, the team cleaned up our yard, roof, screen enclosure. After asking our neighbors for their permission, they did the same for them. They do not want to let anyone down. We have used several tree services in this area and A-Absolute is the best in the business. read more

We had a very large Oak tree spilt and crash into our yard. A Absolute Tree Service did a great job and cleared the yard and the rest of the tree hazard up in a hurry. It was a HUGE job, thankfully this company was up to the task. They were careful, they cleaned up as they went and did this massive job with ease and safety in mind. I felt good knowing the company had a great reputation and were insured. No one needs to have to worry about being sued by some unscrupulous company that doesn't comply with state regulations. These guys are the real deal. They weren't the lowest estimate but in my book they were worth every penny. If I need tree removal in the future, this is my go-to company. Gene is also very kind and helpful and a great guy. read more

A Absolute is an excellent company to work with from the owners, both of whom were on-property, to the friendly workers. Very clean, neat and professional from start to finish. It is obvious they are customer-oriented, not only by their professionalism and their work, but by the appearance of their equipment. How many companies wash and polish their trucks weekly? When they finished, one would never have known they were even on the property. read more

Best tree service ever! Owner Gene did such a great job assessing our trees and taking photos, and provided a clear estimate. The team showed up today and did a superior job, not just in cutting back and shaping several large trees to perfection. but also in meticulously cleaning up the debris so perfectly that our yard look was cleaner than before the work! Great job team! read more

Great service, timely and professional. They were at my neighbors and I asked if they could give a quote for removing two maple trees in my backyard, and Gene came to check them and gave me the best price and fastest service I could ever imagine. They did the job within 2 hours and came the following day to pick up some big tree logs that they could not take the first day. I will consider them in future services if needed and recommend them to friends and family as well. read more

I can't say enough good things about the folks at A-Absolute Tree Services! We saw them working on a tree at another house in our neighborhood one day, called them, and explained that we had two trees that we needed to have taken down, one of which had a trunk about five feet across. Gene came by, looked at the trees, and said he'd get back to us shortly. He sent us an estimate that included getting the necessary permits and scheduled us with a very short turnaround. When the day came, the A-ABCO work crew was great! Although for obvious reasons it wasn't a quiet process, they did everything they could to reduce the disruption. They were very friendly and polite, and when they were done they left the property immaculate. All in all, a fairly painless process (although we were sad to see the old trees go...) Again, can't recommend them enough - they're great! read more

I have used A-Absolute Tree Services to trim my 14 very large mature oak trees on my property on March 30, 2021. Jimmy, Brett, and Gene, with their crew of men were prompt on the job, safe, and cleaned the property of debris in March. My water bill became very high and the water meter was running out of control. I could not find the leaks inside my home. This was all before Christmas of 2021 and New Years 2022. I called A-Absolute. Brett put me in touch with a leak specialist. The leak specialist checked all the inside toilets, sinks, and water heater. There were no leaks inside my home. The specialist had to use special sonar equipment and found the leaks in the pvc pipes under the extremely large roots and tree. My family and I had to shut off the main water valve from the county at the county's concrete box. The very mature wide-based 25 year tree had extremely large roots near my garage and driveway. The tree was breaking my water pipes and irrigation system. I called on A-Absolute Tree Services. I had two different plumbers come out they could not fix it . The plumbers could not shovel around or under the tree or roots. Gene set up the appointment fast because he new my family was out of water. My son has cancer and we are a family of five, with a 4 year old. So, on January 3, 2022 at 8 am all these massive trucks and men show up to remove the tree an grind the stump and roots. Brett and his crew did above and beyond. My neighbor said they did a great job. I have an irrigation man coming out January 10th. Thank you so Much!! I will recommend your company to anyone. Fabulous! read more

Excellent! A blessing from God. Gene, Brett and their team were wonderful, very professional, courteous and went above and beyond what I imagined. They kept me updated and pointed out a few things along the way. The crew was so nice, even when I could hear them outside, I never heard a bad word. Always polite. I have a yard full of huge oak trees and some smaller trees. They expertly cut back the limbs hanging on my house, over my pool cage as well other limbs throughout my front and back yard. They were amazing. They also took down a huge Queen Palm that was dying. No damage whatsoever. They even trimmed a robellini palm out front that smacked me in the face when I walked by it. They cleaned up everything. My yard was cleaner when they left than when they got here. I Highly recommend them. read more

Irma left us 2 huge trees in our back yard, on the house and blocking the back door. I called A-Absolute early that morning and Gene came out within an hour! The very next day they came and removed both trees, cleaned up every last bit. I could not be happier (well unless it had not happen at all). read more

I rarely post reviews but feel compelled to highly recommend A Absolute Tree Service. From the fair pricing, quick response, absolute professionalism, and thorough cleanup, we could not be happier. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. They did an amazing job removing a tall palm and trimming a large Oak within tight spaces; giving extra care to protect debris from landing in the pool. They even washed the fence when done. We will definitely use them again for any future needs. read more

Called A Absolute to trim a large oak and 3 palms before work began on my roof replacement. Had Jimmy come out and give an estimate- scheduled with the emphasis on must be done before roof work began. Schedule confirmed- THEY DID A NO SHOW NO CALL albeit Jimmy informs us the Scheduler call multiple times. Obvious due to need we would have answered. Disappointing enough to miss having the work done let alone an inexcusable manner in which resolution not reached. Certainly enough tree work to go around and glad to spend my $$ elsewhere. read more

Post-Hurricane, we needed a couple large trees cleared and after getting quotes from several companies, we chose A Absolute. They were clear on what was needed and upfront with the costs, no surprises. They were on-time, quick, efficient and delivered perfectly. Several other places wanted to charge by the hour which we were not comfortable with or seemed less than professional. Gene was so professional and explained everything so clearly that we will only use A Absolute going forward. read more

A-Absolute Tree Services of Pinellas County, FL offers quality residential tree care services. Very professional providing a written estimate for each job. They are fully licensed & insured and file all permits required for the job. All of the crew is nice, knowledgeable and they take great care in completely cleaning up the yard. A-Absolute Tree Service is the best! A-Absolute has done two jobs for me. The first included taking out 5 trees & 2 large bushes. They did a fabulous job. It was amazing to watch a group of 12+ people cutting down tree branches, pulling everything to the front, disposing of the branches & grind the tree stumps. The second job included removing another huge tree, hedge & grinding stumps. FYI, if you don't grind the stumps, the roots will sprout new trees and you have to continually work to pull them up. read more

These guys are top notch, class acts! We have used them about a dozen times on our home and our rental properties. They are easy to schedule and communicate with. They are extremely professional and do a fantastic job. No debris is ever left behind and they know how to trim trees correctly. We will continue to use them in the future and highly recommend them! read more

Needed two trees removed and stumps ground in our backyard. Called A-Absolute Tree Service and set up appointment with Gene. He came out within a day or two, surveyed the situation, explained the process, gave us a very fair quote and within a few days was on site. The 5-6 guys who did the work (Gene was on site as well) were very efficient and hard workers. All work was completed in a few hours and the job site was left like they never were there. A sprinkler line was broken when one of the stumps was taken out and they had the line repaired immediately. We were very pleased with this company and their professional work and would definitely use them again. read more

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, professional. I had a large tree removed. They were careful and cleaned up all the debris.

These guys are AMAZING!! We've used A Absolute twice now and I am beyond impressed. When I contacted them for a quote, Gene was on his way home but took the time to stop by and see what work we needed done. Talk about service!! They show up when they say they will, they roll in with multiple trucks and an entire crew so they can get the job done effectively and efficiently, and when they leave they clean up so well you'd never even know that they were there. We will never call another tree service as long as we live here!! read more

This Company did an awesome job for us! We could not believe how quickly they got our very large tree down. It was near some wires so it took some real skill to complete. This company removed several trees from my property today. They did an outstanding job. Totally professional, left the yard spotless. They had high quality equipment, and used it extremely well. I couldn't recommend anyone higher. read more

These guys are really sketchy and I'm sorry I went with them. There's a reason they were the lowest bidder and you get what you pay for. First off, they did not show up to perform my job within the time frame they first stated. When they did not show up I called them and they told me the scheduling person would call me back that same day to make arrangements. That didn't happen. Instead, the next morning the crew arrived completely unannounced. Convenient that I wasn't given any notice so I could be there to check their insurance documentation. As for the work, they did a sloppy job in my opinion, not getting enough of the limbs away from my house, leaving dead wood in the tree (so that the very next day dead limbs were still falling in my yard), and not picking up a pile of limbs they had originally promised to take away as part of the deal. Then, no invoice or any other communication. Today I got notification from my Ring system that there was someone at my front door, a man who acted as though he was inebriated, demanding payment. Fine, send the invoice to my email. The email stated that there was a way to pay the bill by CC, but this turned out to be untrue, instead I needed to call a phone number and leave my credit card number. The invoice asked for payment to A-Absolute, although the demand from the man on the porch was to pay someone else. The phone number was a voice message, but the message did not indicate it was for A-Absolute, it was for some other service. There is no way I was going to leave a credit card number over the phone under these circumstances. Tomorrow I will send the check via US mail. Overall, I am not impressed, this is a very unprofessional company. read more

Wonderful work at a great price! I called and they sent someone out to give an estimate the same day. They came and trimmed my giant oak tree and ground my bougainvillea stump a few days later.
