Great service from this company. They came out, removed all of my shrubs, one large Palm tree and were supposed to grind two stumps. They missed one stump, and when i called them about it, they came back the next day to grind the second stump. Nice to see a company make things "right"! Will definitely use them again. Only downside was lack of English speaking. Hard to communicate. read more

I contacted Star Bluegills Tree Service through the Yelp contact service. I got a reply very quickly from Star Bluegills Tree Services. They showed up at the house to give us the estimate for a large tree truck to be cut up, hauled away and for the stump and roots to be grind. The did a great job. They cleaned up afterwards too. Also they were the least expensive of all other 3 estimates we received. One thing that surprised me was they didn't use any ear protection from the loud chainsaws they used. Called this company because I was actually following behind them on US 19. I needed some trees trimmed and some actually cut to avoid the possibility of them falling onto my Pool Cage and breaking my screens during a storm. Worked with them starting on a Sunday and the job was done on Friday morning. They were efficient and super fast, cleaned up after themselves and we're very nice and accommodating. Recently had Star Bluegills remove a large Norfolk Island Pine that was very close to our house. This tree had dropped several large branches in recent years that broke roof tiles and the tree split into 3 sections halfway up making it weak --- and it was a lightening rod due to it's height --- needless to say we were anxious to get it removed headed into hurricane season (I felt like we were living on borrowed time). So I found these guys on Yelp and was hoping to get a fair price on the mowing of a backyard on a property that I just purchased that had not been mowed in a few years. The grass was approximately 24 inches tall in some areas not all. The establishment was $1500 if I wanted them to rake it up after the cut and $1000 if they just cut. The very next estimate was $350 for the cut. You can guess which one I chose. Blue Gill seems to be more of a tree trimming service even though they advertise bush hogging as well. I got the feeling they really didn't want to do the Job. . On the positive they did return the call and they did show up for the estimate but I won't be waisting my time again. read more

I highly recommend this company for tree removal and stump grinding. I contacted them through yelp and they answered right away. They came out later that day and gave us an estimate for both tree removal with grinding or without. They gave us a really good price for both and since my husband decided to cut the tree down himself, we ended up hiring them to remove the stump. Outstanding work! I called Saturday night and got a call back right away. They came out Sunday afternoon to review and quote the job. We felt the price was very fair for the amount of work needed. They came out two days later to do the job. We had two giant oak trees that needed trimming to keep limbs away from the house. Not only did they do the work we discussed but they offered to clean up any additional trees while they were there. We had them clean up our neighbors giant bamboo trees that were hanging over the fence line. They went above and beyond to clean up afterwards too.
