After doing a quick diagnostic of the piano, he was able to break down the cost of the tuning and, if desired, a detailed cleaning. I opted for both. The whole process was promised in 3hrs and that's exactly what was completed. I can tell you how impressed I was at the thoroughness of Tin's work. Now the piano sounds amazing and looks as new as you can get a 40+ year old instrument. I am very happy with the quality of work in the tuning and cleaning of our piano. I'm sure my wife will love it as well.

Schrager had so many good reviews and his quote was very reasonable. The other quotes I got were open ended so I really didn't know what the total cost would be. Schrager gave me a worse case scenario price so I felt confident knowing financially what I was getting myself into. I really appreciated his clear upfront pricing. He also was great about sending his availability. I booked a date then switched it and then switched it back. He was very accommodating and it was very easy to schedule via text. Next is that this man is a professional. He showed up early and with shoe covers. Whenever anyone shows up to my house with shoe covers, that is already a great first impression. We were off to awesome start. It just shows how considerate they are coming into your home. Now the piano tuning. I've never seen a piano being tuned before so it was interesting to see how he had an iPad he used as he worked to tune each key. While having a full on hour conversation with me. He was very relatable and I honestly felt like I just had a family friend over. When he was done he played some beautiful music. I wasn't sure how having our piano tuned would go. Would it be awkward because there's a stranger in your house? What do you do? Do you talk to them or not? But Schrager was so cool that it felt like hanging out with a friend while he tuned our piano. He is amazing and no wonder he has so many 5 star reviews! Would mostly definitely recommend him for piano tuning!

Watching him work, there was no doubt he was extremely familiar with the Steinway and worked with many Steinway Grands. Knew about all of the things that were wrong and recommended a few minor repairs to prevent further damage. So happy it worked out with Total Piano care. Great communication and caring too! In case he wasn't able to come out in short notice, he even referred me to another company. Thankfully he came by and based on my experience, I can't refer you to anyone better.
