Now the piano sounds amazing and looks as new as you can get a 40+ year old instrument. I am very happy with the quality of work in the tuning and cleaning of our piano. Schrager had so many good reviews and his quote was very reasonable. The other quotes I got were open ended so I really didn't know what the total cost would be. Schrager gave me a worse case scenario price so I felt confident knowing financially what I was getting myself into. I really appreciated his clear upfront pricing. He also was great about sending his availability. I booked a date then switched it and then switched it back. He was very accommodating and it was very easy to schedule via text. Next is that this man is a professional. He showed up early and with shoe covers. Whenever anyone shows up to my house with shoe covers, that is already a great first impression. I've never seen a piano being tuned before so it was interesting to see how he had an iPad he used as he worked to tune each key. While having a full on hour conversation with me. Would it be awkward because there's a stranger in your house? What do you do? Do you talk to them or not? But Schrager was so cool that it felt like hanging out with a friend while he tuned our piano. He is amazing and no wonder he has so many 5 star reviews!
