My mom told them they had to ask their auntie if it would be okay, in which I did say yes and told my brother that he will have to find a moving company to help move it to his house if he wants it (had no idea that there were piano movers). My brother ended up finding D & J Piano Movers, who are right out of Azusa. My brother called them on a Wednesday night and they gave him a quote right away (it cost $200 to move the piano about 8- 10 miles away from my house). D & J Piano Movers was great because they did let us know that they would be able to pick up the piano this past Monday (it would have been earlier but my schedule didn't work to be where I would be at home during designated times). On Thursday, they let my brother know that they would come on Monday between 9- 11 am. They called on Monday morning to let us know that they be arriving in about 15 minutes. They parked on the curb by our house around 8:50 am and got ready to start moving the piano out of our living room. The process was smooth and easy. I also asked them to take a box to my brother's house that held all the sheet music and music books. Overall, it was a good and positive experience and appreciate that D & J Piano Movers was able to give us a time frame to when they would arrive. And also give us a call when they were going to be on their way. And I am glad that our family piano can go on to the next generation to be used and hopefully just as loved as I had in my childhood.

I recently hired Rhino Piano Movers to move my father's grand piano from one room to another within…read moremy home, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Although this was a relatively small job, I had difficulty finding a piano moving company willing to take it on. Several companies weren't interested because the piano wasn't actually being transported to another location. Alex, however, was more than happy to help, and I really appreciated his willingness to accommodate my needs. Alex and his colleague did a fantastic job. They carefully wrapped and protected the piano before moving it and took extraordinary care navigating some very narrow doorways. This was particularly important because the rooms they were working in had just undergone extensive renovations, including fresh paint and other expensive improvements. They managed to move the piano without a single scratch or any damage to the surrounding walls or doorways. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for my home were evident throughout the entire process. On a personal note, this piano has tremendous sentimental value to me. It was one of my father's most prized possessions and among the first things he purchased after moving into our family home in the 1970s. Now that my dad is gone, I was especially concerned about entrusting something so meaningful to someone else. Alex and his team treated the piano with exactly the care and respect I had hoped for, and that meant a great deal to me. I'm extremely grateful for their excellent work and will absolutely be calling Rhino Piano Movers again when it's time to move the piano back to its original location. I highly recommend them!
