Competitive prices punctual(745am on a Saturday morning) Friendly movers moved the piano without any scratches or dents. Was there room for improvement? Perhaps. Being rather anal retentive myself, I supposed I imagined they might have wrapped it better with soft sateen microfiber, or had more movers. 2 guys moved my 6 foot 2 piano down a flight of stairs. They used the standard cloths you would see at uhaul. It did slide a little and I was worried that would cause scratches, but luckily there were none. In the end, the move definitely stressed me out watching them lug the 700 lbs thing around with only 2 people, but that's just the nature of the business I suppose. Can't deduct points for a perfect job well done. 5 stars considering flawless execution, awesome price, punctuality(on time at 745am), and great attitude.

Look close to see both 2" strap marks across top & down sides on curvy end of piano lid

Only noticed 1" gouges on lid of piano AFTER paying the 2 BTE Piano movers $350 plus tip. I never learn. The "before" photo was taken by previous owner for her ad in FB Marketplace mid July 2021. Since BT's invoice was still in piano bench, we called and scheduled w/o first checking them out. And then blindly trusted. Pls learn from our naïveté. EXAMINE EXAMINE EXAMINE before you pay! I feel so stupid !

He has an amazing selection of pianos that fits your budget. Since my daughter is just a beginner in piano, William took his time explaining different levels of piano which and how material affects the sound etc. He recommended a beginner level piano which is an amazing value! The piano is so beautifully built, maintained and the best part is the after service and option to trade in for another one within 2 years. WIlliam is not only kind but also knowledgeable with his over 40 years experience in piano including maintenance and tuning. I am so happy that I found this place and have a peace of mind knowing the money I spent and my piano is in go hand and great value! Thank you so much William!

He assured me it was. After driving for two hours in LA traffic to his store not only is that bench unavailable but the selection is awful. I finally decided to settle on one of the benches he had there only to discover he upped the price and his credit card machine "just broke" and he wanted cash. I went to a nearby ATM pulled out the exact amount and when I got back he informed me that there would also be a extra service charge. At that point I left. This man is rude, and a cheat. Save your time and money!! The items were awful quality anyway.

John Tudor gave us a tour of the place along with information & history on pianos. John's father learned his trade in Germany back in the days & passed on the knowledge & craftsmanship to the next generation. There are hundreds of pianos in this warehouse. Some are being restored & Some are being repaired. According to John. Most pianos nowadays are mass produced, & are made with a foam like material to cut cost down & weight. There's only 1 company left that makes pianos by hand & made with hard wood. Only 300 are produced yearly. John explains the difference in upright & Grand pianos. Within the upright, there's 3 different sizes. Upright pianos usually has 2 pedals. You may find some with 3 but it is not a Sostenuto pedal. It is a mute pedal. Sostenuto pedal is only found on Grand pianos. Steinway & Sons perfected this & patent it in 1847. It became a standard but is rarely used. There's only I piece (music) that has the usage of the Sostenuto pedal in play. The Grand Piano has several sizes & names. Baby Grand to Concert Grand! (Largest size, 9 ft long) Very informative tour. If you're looking to purchase a piano & would like a little bit of history & information on where to start in choosing the right piano for you or whom ever, give this place a try. They have "technicians" who could also tune your piano if you already own one.

There's a bit of bias here because Ivan Tudor and his crew happen to be my buddies-of-sorts…read more I'm not sure how useful this review would be aside from serving as a "shout-out" to let you Yelpers know about the existence of this place! Why? Because I'm not a fan of the piano as we know it today. This is Tudor's specialty--the repair, restoration, and sale of fine modern pianos (modern meaning post-1850 or so). He's won numerous awards for his work and has even repaired pianos owned by some very notable people. But anyway, let me tell you a little about why I like them so much. I repair harpsichords and early pianos as a hobby. Aside from his showroom, Ivan Tudor keeps a HUGE warehouse full of pianos from all periods in various stages of repair and disrepair. They're sort of my "piano junkyard" when I need a part for one of my projects. Several years ago, I bought every single harpsichord and fortepiano they had--totaling about seven or eight instruments in all. Evidently a few of them were movie props in the 1940s and 1950s because they had small metal plates on their undersides indicating they were the property of Warner Brothers. How cool is that? I actually found one of them--a piano from 1815--in a picture book of old pianos published in 1953 indicating the photo was furnished by the studio! Their on-site piano tuner and regulator, Vivian, does a very fine job and will come out to tune your piano for what I believe is a standard rate of $85. Voicing and other piano services are by quote. But yeah, the folks here are übercool and while I haven't made use of their restoration services or bought a high-end piano from them, I'd imagine that since this is their bread-and-butter business, they'd be just as accommodating in that regard as they are with my offbeat inquiries about obsolete instruments!
