I had an old piano that needed to go, and didn't know who to call, I found BT Express Piano Movers online and they were amazing! They came the same day I called them and managed to move the piano down 2 tricky flights of stairs. They were so friendly, professional, and great throughout the process. They handled everything from the heavy lifting to the disposal and removal all at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them and am so grateful for their quick response and excellent customer services. read more

Update: The movers were not careful with the ramp that they were using and chipped a few of the bricks in my front door steps. I discovered the damaged a couple of days after they were gone. read more

This company was recommended to me by my neighbor who owns a music company. I called Carmen at BT Express at about 12pm to have my baby grand piano moved from one part of my house to another part of the house. I have a bad back and injured leg. The moving crew, Benny and Carlos, promptly showed up on the same day within the time frame that Carmen gave me. Their price was more reasonable than their competitors on Yelp.. Benny and Carlos both did a wonderful job. They had to take apart the legs and use blankets and belts to move it. They were very professional, courteous, and careful to protect the piano and my hardwood floors at all times. They were done very quickly, too. read more

I hate to write a second review for the same incident, but this one is for their response to the dropped piano. The piano was dropped one week ago, which I completely understand because accidents happen. They said they would come the following day to move the piano, fix the wall, and repair the broken part. No one showed up. I called again 4 days later and they said once again that they would come the following day, and no one showed up. Carmen states she called me, but I did not receive any voicemail or texts and no one came to fix the piano or wall. We were then forced the fix the wall ourselves and hire another company because we needed to move out of the house. One week after the incident I called again and Carmen said she was upset that I left a bad Yelp review and she does not want to fix the wall or piano anymore. I told her I would gladly update my review when someone goes ahead and fixes the piano. She said she would get back to me later that day, but she did not call me back and has not answered my phone calls, voicemails or texts. It has now been almost 2 weeks since the incident, and nothing has happened and I fear that this company is now ignoring my communication. Unfortunately, I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau. Carmen, if you do not respond to me in the next few days then I will be forced to escalate this and file a lawsuit against you to get this piano fixed. read more

This was a review for December 2021 (during covid) Excellent piano movers! Quick efficient affordable and friendly. Shout out to Carmen for squeezing me in on a busy saturday morning. Thank you Benny for that too easy of a lift into the house. I moved an upright piano distance 10miles. The piano was at my dads house -- they had two movers come in the morning and pick up the piano to bring it over to my house. Literally took them 30 seconds to move the piano from van into my house. Amazing, no dents, no scratches so professional. read more

Competitive prices punctual(745am on a Saturday morning) Friendly movers moved the piano without any scratches or dents. Was there room for improvement? Perhaps. Being rather anal retentive myself, I supposed I imagined they might have wrapped it better with soft sateen microfiber, or had more movers. 2 guys moved my 6 foot 2 piano down a flight of stairs. They used the standard cloths you would see at uhaul. It did slide a little and I was worried that would cause scratches, but luckily there were none. In the end, the move definitely stressed me out watching them lug the 700 lbs thing around with only 2 people, but that's just the nature of the business I suppose. Can't deduct points for a perfect job well done. 5 stars considering flawless execution, awesome price, punctuality(on time at 745am), and great attitude. read more

Same day move of an upright piano I had got on OfferUp. Was recommended to this company via a craiglist user. Easy communication and setup. Charged 300$ for a move from Orange to Fullerton. Equipment and van made the move efficient and seemingly easy. Did good work. Were friendly. Open and straightforward communication. read more

Only noticed 1" gouges on lid of piano AFTER paying the 2 BTE Piano movers $350 plus tip. I never learn. The "before" photo was taken by previous owner for her ad in FB Marketplace mid July 2021. Since BT's invoice was still in piano bench, we called and scheduled w/o first checking them out. And then blindly trusted. Pls learn from our naïveté. EXAMINE EXAMINE EXAMINE before you pay! I had to move a piano in a day and they were able to schedule me in within 3-4 hours. Movers showed up on time, professional, knew how to dissemble the grand piano, and reassembled it with ease. Not much else to add except you can't go wrong with them! read more

I was offered a free antique, working, upright piano...the only catch, I had to have it.moved, and it.needed to be out in two days. ..and it was far away. I was calling around frantically and getting outrageous estimates until I called here. Their price was so low that I asked her to check...she asked what kind of piano and then said, "sorry, it is $50 more than I thought." I was shocked, even with that $50, the quote was still $400 less than the other place! The only question was when they could do it. Next day. Within 12 hours of booking they'd picked up my new piano, and 1 hour later it was at my house and I'm the spot I'd chosen. I was so impressed! read more

INCREDIBLE! So kind and responsive. I called about 20 movers and these guys had the best price, and accommodated the move the NEXT morning. Turned up on time, and had the instrument in place and safe and sound within a couple hours. Thank you guys so much! read more

I used this mving service today and they were excellent. The price they set was honored even though I had more boxes than we agreed on... and the two men worked hard, Both guys were pot bellied Mexicans and yet when the time came to move a 400 lb stove, one guy with a beer belly lifted on and and put is on a dolly and moved it all by himeself. He is my hero. It took me and five other guys to move it before.. and the Mexican guy who did it alone did not hit me up for extra money. They worked hard... they did not complain... and they got the job done. I reccomend this company for low end , inexpensive moving, read more

Not crazy about companies who say they will call me back and then never do. They must not have wanted or needed my business very much. Shame, because I was referred to them by someone else and now they get this crappy Yelp review. read more

I rarely if ever use Craigslist, but today I decided to give it a try. I called Carmen at BT-Express to move a Baby Grand piano. Not an easy task. Within 2.5 hours she had two of the hardest working professionals at my home removing the piano from the residence. The service was quick, professional, and priced right. I highly recommend this company and will use them again. I was impressed. Top notch service. read more

This is the 1st time I ever owned a piano. These guys connected back to me pretty quickly. 1st I thought it was strange that the entire process was done via text messaging. But they picked up the piano at location 1on time and delivered to us on time. Their pricing was really good. I definitely saved enough so that I could give the guys a tip as well. When we move, we will use these guys again! read more

I was recommended to BT Express by Pasadena Piano Academy, one of the best referrals I've received (thanks Vivian!). In less than 24 hours Carmen from BT Express had seamlessly serviced the move of my 40 year old Wurlitzer from Pasadena to Long Beach. Courteous piano handlers arrived at the start of their 2 hour window for pick up and delivered timely to LB later that afternoon. My delicate instrument arrived in the same condition. Prices are reasonable, scheduling times flexible, friendly and realiable service. What more could you want?! read more

Overall: great quality, great prices Called on a Friday morning for a Piano pick up from Eagle Rock and delivery to Santa Monica, CA. It was scheduled on the following Monday at noon and by 2:45pm, the upright Yamaha was perfectly set to his new location. The only thing was that they did not let us know asap that the driver was going to be a bit late (1:30), and so we had to call to get the update. Would recommend anyway! read more

I found a piano that was in a house where the owners were moving out and needed the piano gone ASAP. I called Carmen and she offered same day service (although we decided to move it the following day). Her guys were pro, showed up early, and got the job done quick. They also moved a 2nd piano for me from one room in the house to another. Their prices were more than reasonable. I had a 100% positive experience and will definitely be a return customer for all my piano moving needs! read more

I have used this company when I purchased the piano 2 years ago and when we moved to a new home. Dependable, great guys , Carmen who handles the coordinating. Can't say enough good things. They took care of my baby perfectly. Thank you guys read more

I have called a few places and Bt's quote is the lowest (about 1/3 less than the second lowest quote). I was not entirely sure what to expect about the service and delivery but these guys were real piano movers and really knew what they were doing. I was surprised to see that the two of them handle the upright piano with ease and was happy to see that they worked with all the proper equipment and padding to protect the piano and our floor. They were professional and courteous and were a pleasure to work with. They did take a little longer to deliver than I expected because they had another job that was near our pick up site and decided to take care of that before delivering our piano. But they did called us in advance to let us know and we were OK with the slight delay (less gas burned is better). We were happy with the delivery and will recommend Bt to our friends. read more

These folks rock! Called to get an estimate on moving (and disposing of) a ginormous upright piano. Quoted me a price I thought was more than reasonable - cash only - and said they had an opening in about an hour. So, they (a couple of large, but VERY nice guys!) showed up with dolly, truck and a whole lot o' determination. They hauled this monster down a flight of stairs, got it in the back of the truck and were gone before you could say Franz Liszt. Would certainly use them again and will keep their number handy for moving other huge objects! Thanks guys! read more

I had an arrangement with another piano mover to deliver my new piano and when I found out they couldn't actually deliver on the day they promised I reached out to BT Express. Their staff picked up the phone right away and, before even hearing my whole situation, she had her movers on the other line telling them they had "one more delivery" for the day. They were about to go home for the day but they agreed to go out of their way to pick up my piano and drive it 20+ miles to my home. The movers were fast and friendly at the pick-up location, transported the piano safely to my home, and were gentle and careful when they delivered. BT Express charged me a very fair price and only nominal charge for the last minute arrangements. I don't move pianos a lot but if I had to, I would use these folks again. read more

Quick and courteous service. Spoke with Carmen today and she was able to schedule me for same day pickup and transport. The guys were careful with the piano and it arrived in perfect condition. Great piano movers. They squeezed me in for today with only one days notice so it was ok that they were late to the pick up location. We had a really wonderful experience with them today! I called yesterday and asked if they had last-minute availability for this morning... They were fully booked, but worked with us giving us an extra-early appointment (7-8am). The lady on the phone was nice, quick and willing to help; even gave me her cellphone so I could send her all the info and answered my phone call this morning at 7:20. They arrived at 7:40 to the pick-up location (had gotten the address wrong, but that was an easy fix!) and by 8:15 the piano was already in our place! Of course, we were close by, but they were quick... though careful. They were also very nice! We are really happy with their service, their incredibly fair price (I mean, I thought I heard wrong when I was quoted, compared to other companies), and would definitely recommend them. read more

I must say this company is wonderful! It has certainly been a blessing to come across this company-especially at the last minute. Who wants surprises (hidden fees/charges, grumpy employees, damaged furniture...) when it comes to hiring a moving company? Carmen worked with our budget, accommodated our needs/concerns and made all the arrangements to ensure everything went smoothly. She texted, periodically, to check the progress of the move. Benny and crew were in charge of moving our belongings and they did an excellent job in doing so. Thank you, Carmen, Benny and staff, for your professionalism, care and hard-work ethics. Your company went above and beyond to make sure our family's move went well. We will definitely use your services, again, and will refer you to all our friends! read more

Okay so sad. They broke my window delivering an awfully big Buddha to my back yard. No, they didn't call to tell me, I was lucky enough to come home to find it it. But I called and they took responsibility. I had to make several calls. Oh yes, someone was coming tomorrow and then tomorrow and then tomorrow and then I became tired of calling. Lo and behold, I never heard from them again, they did not fix my window and I ended up having to bear the cost of replacing the window after all. So, here's the lesson, if they break something, there's a good chance they will be nice and take responsibility but in the end, they will leave you holding the bag. read more
