This company was recommended to me by my neighbor who owns a music company. I called Carmen at BT Express at about 12pm to have my baby grand piano moved from one part of my house to another part of the house. I have a bad back and injured leg. The moving crew, Benny and Carlos, promptly showed up on the same day within the time frame that Carmen gave me. Their price was more reasonable than their competitors on Yelp.. Benny and Carlos both did a wonderful job. They had to take apart the legs and use blankets and belts to move it. They were very professional, courteous, and careful to protect the piano and my hardwood floors at all times. They were done very quickly, too. read more

I hate to write a second review for the same incident, but this one is for their response to the dropped piano. The piano was dropped one week ago, which I completely understand because accidents happen. They said they would come the following day to move the piano, fix the wall, and repair the broken part. No one showed up. I called again 4 days later and they said once again that they would come the following day, and no one showed up. Carmen states she called me, but I did not receive any voicemail or texts and no one came to fix the piano or wall. We were then forced the fix the wall ourselves and hire another company because we needed to move out of the house. One week after the incident I called again and Carmen said she was upset that I left a bad Yelp review and she does not want to fix the wall or piano anymore. I told her I would gladly update my review when someone goes ahead and fixes the piano. She said she would get back to me later that day, but she did not call me back and has not answered my phone calls, voicemails or texts. It has now been almost 2 weeks since the incident, and nothing has happened and I fear that this company is now ignoring my communication. Unfortunately, I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau. Carmen, if you do not respond to me in the next few days then I will be forced to escalate this and file a lawsuit against you to get this piano fixed. read more

Competitive prices punctual(745am on a Saturday morning) Friendly movers moved the piano without any scratches or dents. Was there room for improvement? Perhaps. Being rather anal retentive myself, I supposed I imagined they might have wrapped it better with soft sateen microfiber, or had more movers. 2 guys moved my 6 foot 2 piano down a flight of stairs. They used the standard cloths you would see at uhaul. It did slide a little and I was worried that would cause scratches, but luckily there were none. In the end, the move definitely stressed me out watching them lug the 700 lbs thing around with only 2 people, but that's just the nature of the business I suppose. Can't deduct points for a perfect job well done. 5 stars considering flawless execution, awesome price, punctuality(on time at 745am), and great attitude. read more

I was offered a free antique, working, upright piano...the only catch, I had to have it.moved, and it.needed to be out in two days. ..and it was far away. I was calling around frantically and getting outrageous estimates until I called here. Their price was so low that I asked her to check...she asked what kind of piano and then said, "sorry, it is $50 more than I thought." I was shocked, even with that $50, the quote was still $400 less than the other place! The only question was when they could do it. Next day. The price they set was honored even though I had more boxes than we agreed on... and the two men worked hard, Both guys were pot bellied Mexicans and yet when the time came to move a 400 lb stove, one guy with a beer belly lifted on and and put is on a dolly and moved it all by himeself. I had an arrangement with another piano mover to deliver my new piano and when I found out they couldn't actually deliver on the day they promised I reached out to BT Express. Their staff picked up the phone right away and, before even hearing my whole situation, she had her movers on the other line telling them they had "one more delivery" for the day. They were about to go home for the day but they agreed to go out of their way to pick up my piano and drive it 20+ miles to my home. The movers were fast and friendly at the pick-up location, transported the piano safely to my home, and were gentle and careful when they delivered. BT Express charged me a very fair price and only nominal charge for the last minute arrangements. I don't move pianos a lot but if I had to, I would use these folks again. read more

I have called a few places and Bt's quote is the lowest (about 1/3 less than the second lowest quote). I was not entirely sure what to expect about the service and delivery but these guys were real piano movers and really knew what they were doing. I was surprised to see that the two of them handle the upright piano with ease and was happy to see that they worked with all the proper equipment and padding to protect the piano and our floor. They were professional and courteous and were a pleasure to work with. They did take a little longer to deliver than I expected because they had another job that was near our pick up site and decided to take care of that before delivering our piano. But they did called us in advance to let us know and we were OK with the slight delay (less gas burned is better). We were happy with the delivery and will recommend Bt to our friends. read more

These folks rock! Called to get an estimate on moving (and disposing of) a ginormous upright piano. Quoted me a price I thought was more than reasonable - cash only - and said they had an opening in about an hour. So, they (a couple of large, but VERY nice guys!) showed up with dolly, truck and a whole lot o' determination. They hauled this monster down a flight of stairs, got it in the back of the truck and were gone before you could say Franz Liszt. We had a really wonderful experience with them today! I called yesterday and asked if they had last-minute availability for this morning... They were fully booked, but worked with us giving us an extra-early appointment (7-8am). The lady on the phone was nice, quick and willing to help; even gave me her cellphone so I could send her all the info and answered my phone call this morning at 7:20. They arrived at 7:40 to the pick-up location (had gotten the address wrong, but that was an easy fix!) and by 8:15 the piano was already in our place! Of course, we were close by, but they were quick... though careful. They were also very nice! Okay so sad. They broke my window delivering an awfully big Buddha to my back yard. No, they didn't call to tell me, I was lucky enough to come home to find it it. But I called and they took responsibility. I had to make several calls. Oh yes, someone was coming tomorrow and then tomorrow and then tomorrow and then I became tired of calling. Lo and behold, I never heard from them again, they did not fix my window and I ended up having to bear the cost of replacing the window after all.
