After looking puzzled at their selection of laptops, the manager Thomas came up and started chatting with us. He was very nice, friendly and knowledgeable about the products he was talking about. I get all of my necessary office items here and do a fair amount of printing jobs with them. The location itself is pretty standard for any Office Depot. Parking is always really easy and the store is wide open and plenty bright to find all of those riveting office supplies you may be in the market for. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I have had to wait a few times for some of the printed items. But I also have been very last minute on some things that they have worked with me on in the past. As long as I live and work over this way, this will be my go-to store for all things office supply related. PS - I have never written office supply this many times in a review... there, I wrote it again.

Right as I…read moreentered the store I could see where "work from home" necessities were on a table for easy access. They had wireless keyboards , wireless computer mouses, printer paper, etc. I was primarily looking for a second computer monitor to hook up to my laptop, since I'm use to working with the option of 3 monitors at work . I'm SPOILED!!! The sales associate, Tiffany was extremely helpful in checking inventory on computer monitors for myself and one other person. Despite there being limited quantities, I was able to get a decent monitor to use at home for now and in the future. The price was reasonable. The only downside was that the monitor did not come with a HDMI cord like I was originally led to believe.... no biggie but I was a little disappointed. Thankfully , I have access to an HDMI cord. I also bought a wireless keyboard and mouse combo set to keep at home for a good price. I was really impressed with the service I received! Another sales associate, Jabriah (sp) who assisted me at checkout was really sweet , patient and quite helpful!! I called the local Herman Miller franchise dealer. I spoke with one of the most professional folks I have dealt with in a while, Ms. Carol Grimes. My wife needs a new office chair. I will ONLY go to Carol and her staff for that purchase. I highly recommend them. Bravo Business Interiors.

This little shop is a Birmingham treasure…read more I dropped off a noisy 1947 Royal Quiet De Luxe last week for a much-needed service--the first since I bought the machine back in 2010. It originally came from Brady & Kowalsky, a hip Brooklyn typewriter store that ostensibly serviced it prior to the sale, but it had always been a loud, clunky thing that was frustrating to use. Well, Billy at Alabama Typewriter went to work on it, and one week later, I have what feels like a new machine! Everything works like a charm, down to a solid shift-lock and smooth tabs. It's an absolute pleasure to type on, and will soon be my primary writing tool. Billy told me he's been working at the shop since the 1950s (!). He's clearly a man who knows how typewriters are supposed to work, and he'll get yours running the way it was originally intended. I haven't purchased any machines from him yet, but told him to keep an eye out for any mid-century portables that come through the store. FWIW: Repairs were $60 plus $13 for a replacement part on the platen. Worth every penny.

The photos looked very faded compared to the original or like they had a milky film over them. The only response I have received within a week from my call and email is a survey. This was my first and last time using them.
