These guys are always fantastic. Absolutely no complaints. My son broke off a shower faucet/handle so that left that bathtub totally inoperable. I called and explained. They asked me to send them some photos which I did. Set up an appointment. Luke came out within 20 minutes of the appropriate time. Lots of corrosion going on on that handle. Probably original 1989 equipment LOL. He replaced the plunger inside the valve which was all crudded up and installed a new faucet handle. I can't believe how much easier it is to turn on. I had a great experience with A-1 Prestige Plumbing. Little did I know that my water heater was leaking and waaaay past the date to replace. The guys at A-1 came by the day after and was able to replace the water heater within that same visit! The work was done efficiently and they took all the trash with them as well. Somehow, the water that leaked onto the floor was also dried up - I'm not sure if this was a result of the guys helping me with that too but I wouldn't put it past them! The thing that really made me love this company is that a couple weeks later, I received a package in the mail with a handwritten thank you card for using their services along with a pen and fidget spinner! I have been using A-1 Prestige plumbing for their amazing service and quality of work for over a decade. 14 yrs ago, I bought a condo built in 1964; understandably the condo is old and needs work from time to time. I had them replace the shower fixture when I called them in to snake the shower drain. They quickly fixed the shower drain and installed the shiny new shower faucet. In September 2019, the valves to my washer had to be replaced, because they were leaking. Junior came in and replaced the valves. A few months later A-1 Prestige was checking my neighbors unit and determined that the water heater had to be replaced. In the same day, they brought the new water heater in and replaced it. Fast forward a couple months and I want to start a remodel on my condo to remove the gas fireplace, but keep the gas line to my dryer. The owner JT came out and within a couple hours, he cut the gas line, rerouted the gas line flush with the wall next to the dryer and removed the gas line to the fireplace. While working on the gas line, JT noticed calcium deposits and seepage on the hot water lines. He took pictures to submit to my Home Owners Association and the following week JT came out to replace the hot water pipes with the calcium deposits and seepage. My condo requires extra TLC due to it's age and I appreciate having A-1 Prestige to rely on for quality work in a timely manner. They guarantee their work for a year, but I have never had to call them back after they fixed something. I strongly recommend A-1 Prestige for all plumbing needs. August 22, 2020 Saturday - My old condo sprung another leak. My upstairs neighbors kitchen sink drain pipe was leaking into the wall above my unit and water was dripping into my kitchen. I called my HOA and they sent A-1 Prestige (Josh) to my condo. Josh was here within an hour of my call. He found the leaking pipe behind the wall in less than 10 minutes. An hour later my upstairs neighbor was able to use her kitchen sink without flooding mine. I highly recommend A-1 Prestige Plumbing. I would rate this company in the negative if I could. Called A1 Prestige Plumbing and asked if they price match on the installation of a hot water heater. The phone was suddenly passed to a man rudely identifying himself, "I'm the owner and we don't do that. It's already 3:30 and one of my technicians was at your property, drained the tank and you will be charged." How rude can you get for asking a simple question? I only called them because my property manager already sent them out to my property without calling me 1st, so I didn't want to take away their job. Word of mouth is everything. Reliable, Reasonable & Punctual Plumbers I test drove many plumbers at my homes but A-1 Prestige Plumbing is my choice for the plumbing jobs. They have served me a great number of times and through the years; they have always been punctual, reliable and quick. I have been hiring these guys to do various jobs for me over a decade or so. They have been at my latest house so many times. Every time I need a plumber, I call them. I tried many plumbers before but I finally ended up choosing these guys as my official plumber! It does not matter how small or major is the job, they will show up on time and they will get the job done. I honestly never had any problems with them because they do the job right at the first place so they do not have to come back. Even though they give a one month warranty, but I never had to complain and drag them back here to fix a mess that they have made the first time. These guys know what they are doing and they tell you before they start that what are your options, how much each option will cost and how long it will take. Their rate is reasonable. They charge hourly plus parts. What I like about them is that they are punctual, always on time and very reliable. When they say they show up 8:00 AM, the 8:00 AM means 8:00 AM and not even 8:15 AM. Unlike many other contractors, they are punctual. This is a very important quality for me, because time is money and I have no time to waste on, amateurs, fled by nights, bang and bologna, and key stone contractors. I am a dead busy man and I simply hate uninformed, incompetent and late contractors. So far, after so many times that these guys have been at my house, they always been punctual, consistent, reliable, reasonable and fast. They have done so many jobs for me including but not limited to pipe work, water heater installation, toilet pumps and parts replacements, diagnosis and etc. The very latest job that they done for me was to replace old washing machine valve faucets on the wall of the laundry room with modern ones, stabilize the sewer hose, add a couple of water hammer shock absorbers to the valves to take care of my banging pipes and water hammer sounds and finally replace a dryer vent with a flexible vent so I could push the dryer all the way back and make more room in the laundry room. We purchased new machines and the old wall parts had to go. They done this in my laundry room very quick, got the job done fast and asked for a reasonable pay. As usual we made an appointment to be at the house at 8:45 AM and amazingly they were there right on time but I was late 5 minutes! I could not believe that someone can be more punctual than me! I am a perfectionist! These guys take credit cards or any method of reasonable payment. If you are not happy with the work, they will come back and make you happy but honestly so far they never had to come back to my house because they done it right the first time and you know this is a hard to find and a great quality for a contractor in this day and age! I had my share of nightmare contractors which I had to chase around and beg them to fix their own mess but these guys put a smile on my face and give me a peace of mind. When I need a plumber, I know who to call and after so many tests, these guys have never failed me. Through the years, they have always done me right and done me on time. A-1 "Prestige" Plumbing and its plumber, Eric, charged $150.00 for nothing--literally. My tenant called A-1 because of low water pressure in a shower. The plumber could not fix it. His invoice states verbatim, "Came out and attempted to take apart trim on mixing valve. It's a Hans Grohe and I could not get it apart. I will attempt to get a breakdown of valve and trim so that we can figure out how to and which step to take next." For this he charged $150.00! He made no follow up and did not return my call to discuss the bill. My sister, who is not a plumber, went out and looked at the shower fixture. She made a minor adjustment and the problem was resolved! This plumber does not follow best practices in the plumbing industry. He should not have charged more than $75.00 for simple visit charge when he was not able to fix the problem. He charged double what any other plumber would have charged and he did not accomplish a thing. When my sister (the one who actually fixed the problem) spoke to Eric (the plumber) about an adjustment, he refused to negotiate. He stubbornly would not budge and he did not return my call when I wanted to discuss it. This is not the way to do business. Afterwards, in speaking with two of my neighbors in my condominium complex, they spoke of similar complaints about this very same plumbing company, saying they were grossly overcharged and their problems were not fixed. My fixture is a popular brand and this plumber did not know now to fix it. There is no excuse for not accomplishing anything and charging twice the standard for nothing. Call anyone else except A-1 Prestige Plumbing, that is my suggestion. I will not do business with them again nor allow my tenants to use them. read more

A-1 Prestige Plumbing has came to my condo at least 4 times a year. My HOA contracts them as their primary plumbing company. Their service has always been great! They are on call 24 hours. They make the appointments right away and come right on time (sometimes a little bit earlier too). They have great communication with their clients. The several of plumbers that came by my place has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and always diagnosed and fixed the problem right away. The best thing I like about this company is that they are honest! Even though they are contracted by my HOA, they will always be truthful about who's fault it is (HOA or yours). Also they contact the HOA right away to tell them. At times, they advised me on other house broken things as well and coached me on how to fix it the most inexpensive way (i.e. vacuum, etc.). My favorite guy that works there is John. Out of all the guys that came by, he's the one that provided the best service and has all the good characteristics that you would want in a plumber. As far as pricing, when I did have to pay, the pricing wasn't as expensive compared to others. However, if anything, call and compare pricing before hiring ^^. read more

A1 Prestige Plumbing came out to my house to fix a blockage in my tub faucet because the hot water pressure had decreased. A1 Plumbing told me it was simple fix. The technician came out, pulled out the faucet stem and found some sort of fiber stuck in the stem, pulled it out and reassembled the faucet. They didn't say the stem had to be replaced or anything was bad it was just a piece of fiber large enough to block the hole. My bad, I didn't check the faucet after he left... I'm not a plumber and he's supposed to be the expert. I trusted them to do the job right. Then he had me sign off on a sheet of paper saying the work was not WARRANTIED and had me pay a $90.00 service charge. I didn't think anything of it because he didn't replace any parts so obviously there wasn't anything to warranty... well NO WARRANTY also translates to NO GAURANTEE. After he left, that afternoon I realized that the tub faucet had a drip. I put a cup under the faucet and called them back. Well apparently no warranty means that if they have to come back out to fix something they either broke or didn't do right I GET CHARGED again for another service call. This is what NO WARRANTY means. It means they don't guarantee that their technicians will do a good job or not break something else in the process but they will come out an fix it if you pay them. If A1 Prestige Plumbing was reputable then they would guaranteed the work their technicians do, not hide behind a NO WARRANTY policy. Now I have a leaky faucet when all I had when they left was low pressure. UPDATE: 2.10.2016 A1 called back said they won't charge to come back out and it would be part of the service call BUT, it will now cost me $130.00 to replace the stem. When I asked if that was the cost of the part they said yes. I questioned them further saying that I had actually priced the part myself at Home Depot for $8.00 and her story changed to, "the cost is because we have to pick up the part, drive to your place and install it". ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! I bought some tools, and the part from Home Depot and when I took off the knob, like I had said originally to them, the stem was loose. All they had to do was come out tighten it. read more

This is an amazing company. I have known JT, the owner, for years. We met at an apartment building I own. He fixed my problem that day, and it was an $8 dollar part. That's all he charged me. I called these guys to come out because I thought my water heater was leaking. The technician who came out was very thorough and after about 20 minutes of searching for the leak, determined it was coming from our Heater/Air Conditioning unit instead. Since he had to charge me for a service call, he offered to replace an obviously corroded ball valve that was leading into my tank. There was only a small extra charge, since his time was already paid for by the service call that I had to pay anyway. He was very professional, polite and honest. On Wednesday morning at 8:30, I called to ask if a plumber could come to fix a problem I was having in the master bathroom. Linda told me she could schedule a service call that day, between 1:30 & 3:00 and that she would call when the plumber would be enroute. At 1:00 pm, Linda called and at 1:30, Juan arrived at my home.
