They were recommended to me by a neighbor who had already had the same service that I was looking to have done on his property. 1) Scheduling the service to my property took less than five minutes. 2) Stevie was at my residence exactly when he said he would be. There wasn't a six hour window that I had to wait around for. We scheduled for 10am, and he was there at 10am sharp. 3) Stevie completed the job the same day in a time far faster than anticipated. 4) Stevie was professional, polite, great to talk to, and a true tradesman. I was surprised how much easier interacting with Just Your Plummer was compared to Bill Howe Plumbing. Not that dealing with Bill Howe is complicated, but Just You Plummer streamlined the process, and they did it at less than half the cost. I originally scheduled with Bill Howe which would take two separate appointments. The first was to quote the parts needed, and the second to schedule and perform the work. Bill Howe quoted me at $625 to replace five shut off valves where Just Your Plummer completed the job in half the appointments, and at less than half the cost. I saved a day and over $300. I used this company three times to date, and I have been happy each time. Of the three times I had Jason, the main plumber, come out to replace faucets. He is doing an excellent job, fast, efficient, and in a clean fashion. The cabinet space under the faucets is so small, I admire how he does his job under these circumstances. We have used "Just Your Plummer" numerous times at our house and in our apartments. Mostly Steve. Always to our satisfaction and on one Thanksgiving morning actually to our complete amazement when our garbage disposal decided to explode and shred the dishwasher next to it. Steve and Eva came out while my wife got a new dishwasher and garbage disposal and by 3pm we were back to normal as nothing had happened at a very reasonable price besides the unexpected replacement costs for the garbage disposal and dishwasher. Fast forward to today, 02/13/2020, about 3 1/2 years later with a shower valve diverter replacement, new tubspout and new shower-head in an HOA-apartment complex. We had a 2-month wait-time to get this repair done since it needed a water shut-off in the entire stack of apartments, about 10 of them. Scheduled shut-off time was 9am. Steve was scheduled for 9am and showed up at 10:20am. The picture shows how it looked at 3pm when Steve "Just Your Plummer" left, telling the tenant to call a plumber. That orange thing is the new valve which is about 4"x6" and has threaded connections. The tiles are 8x8. At the bottom you can see the connection to the tubspout which should have been a simple screw-off, screw new one on. Only the connection to the spout and the shower-head was done. No connection to the hot- and cold stacklines. I have not talked to Steve yet, he has not called me and I really do not know what went wrong besides the obvious as seen in the picture. I do not know at this point of what it will cost me to have this repaired or how long it will take to have the tenant back in his bathroom with a shower but if you are looking for a plumber proceed with utmost caution from here on. read more

Great experience with Just Your PlumMer (that's how they spell it :). I had a leaking water heater. I discovered the leak early Sunday morning. I shut off the water supply valve and the gas as soon as I saw the steady stream of water running from the top. My garage floor was soaked. I called a San Diego "discount" plumber and they came out that morning. They gave me an outrageous quote, but since it was Sunday they couldn't even get a new water heater until Monday. Apparently, there are just too many sizes, types and brands for plumbers to keep any in stock. Most suppliers are closed on Sunday. I got a call back from Just Your PlumMer in about an hour or two. Stevie confirmed that he too couldn't get a new heater until Monday morning, but he could pick it up and install it early Monday AM. He gave me an accurate quote for the heater and installation. It was about $700! less than the "discount plumber" had quoted, even after their $500 "discount." So I hired Just My PlumMer over the phone and Stevie was here promptly Monday morning with the new water heater. Installation took 2-3 hours and it was completed with no surprises or hidden costs. Haul away of the old unit was included. Stevie was professional and friendly, very knowledgeable and respectful. He called to let me know when he was arriving (right on time). Wow! From the first call to end of install. I phoned for a toilet replacement and after scheduling, received a call back from one of their plumbers in less than 10 minutes. He explained in detail the different flushing mechanisms and possible price ranges for each. I shopped and bought a model. When I called back to say I had one in hand, an appointment moved from 5 days out to 3 hours! Eva the plumber arrived on time and expertly removed the old and installed the new. She was professional, time efficient and nice. I am very impressed by her workmanship. Eva removed every scrap of debris on her way out the door-AND she gave me a flashlight pen! Cool! About 9 months after this initial visit, the same company was visiting my upstairs neighbor to replace a faucet in her condo. They made a serious mistake during the replacement, and didn't turn off the water valves - causing a MAJOR FLOOD in my unit, and all of the other units below me as well. This caused my entire kitchen to have to be renovated (blocked off and not usable for TWO MONTHS). On top of this, Just your plummer doesn't have insurance - they only have a bond. And when my insurance company went after them to cover the damages - they haven't heard anything back, this is now 8 months later, and I still haven't received my deductible because my insurance company hasn't gotten a response out of Just your Plummer. Scheduled a faucet replacement via Amazon Home Services with this company for 8-11 am. At 11 am I called since they had not arrived and I had not heard anything from them. Nobody picked up. I called Amazon to see if they would have any luck. Nobody picked up for them as well, and they had additional contact information. Very strange how a company that is open the entire day can't seem to answer the phone over a 2 hour period. I've still yet to hear anything but I canceled the job online. This left me with a job that had to be completed today since we have a broken faucet, I can't take work off during the week, and my wife will be imminently having a baby. Bathroom sink dilemma! Last night as I was getting ready for bed, I removed my diamond earrings and one fell down my Bathroom sink! It was after hours, so I yelped a plumbing service and found, Just your Plummer. I emailed them that night and had a respond from Heather in minutes. It wasn't a after hours emergency, so she assured me that they would call me first thing in the morning. And they did! Jason showed up 20 minutes later. Let's get one thing clear first, I didn't hire this company and they did not work in my condo. They might be good plumbers and installers but I wouldn't know. This review is for how they left our complex a mess after they finished their job. My neighbor had this company install a new shower enclosure in their condo. I believe that's what they did. In the process, they hit the ceiling overhang leading up the stairs from the 1st fl when they were bringing in the new enclosure & damaged it. They left drywall from the damage over hang along w/styrofoam all over the floor under and by the stairwell. Im assuming the styrofoam came from the box that had the new enclosure in it when they took the box to our trash bin. Didn't bother to vacuum or sweep up the debris. They threw away all the trash and old enclosure frame and material in our complex's only dumpster, which pretty much filled it leaving no room for resident's to put their trash. They left the old shower glass doors and new shower enclosure's big boxes outside of our dumpster. Didn't even bother cutting up the box and putting it in the recycling part of the dumpster. On Mon 11/23/2015 I told the installer when I saw him that Waste Management only takes what's in the dumpster & nothing that's left outside the dumpster unless we (the homeowners/HOA) pay an extra pick up fee. To which he replied, in a polite manner I might add, that he'd tell the tenant to tell the owner they had to dispose of it. Guess what?? It's 5 days later and those shower glass doors and boxes are still there. I found his answer, as polite as it was, still very unprofessional as I myself also do home repairs/remodels and when we finish, we always clean up and dispose of all material & trash leaving the job as if we were never there. I mean, come on people have a little more respect. Lastly, this guy worked till about 7-7:30pm on Wed 11/25/2015 making all kinds of noise. My neighbor's bathroom is literally on the other side of my bedroom wall. My girlfriend and I were watching a movie in our living room with the volume pretty loud and could still hear the banging and drilling sounds. No respect for other neighbors. Like I said, this company might be good at what they do based on all these great yelp reviews they have. As far as clean up or being respectful of the complex they're doing work in, they failed on this one. Oh, I forgot to mention, Im the Vice President on the HOA board and could possibly get the homeowner fined or at least have to pay the Waste Management pick up fee for the mess you left. Don't think your customer is going to be to happy about that. As for Heather's reply comment to my review... I do have my facts straight and I am not misguided. Your worker was here at least two times that week for more then "3 hours" each time. Also, on one of those days, he did finish around 7pm ish. Talk about excellent. My gosh. Jason came and replaced our kitchen faucet. He fixed other problems he encountered as well without batting an eyelash. He explained things to us and helped us understand what he was doing. He worked quickly and did a fantastic job. He is a super nice guy. I'll definitely call these guys again if a need arises. Needed to get my air gap replaced after a dishwasher upgrade. Apparently the previous plumber who had replaced my garbage disposal hadn't cleared the hoses correctly, and the air gap was shooting out water while the dishwasher ran. Sunday water heater emergency leak at my moms house. We bought a new one and put in a bid request through the Home Depot referral service. Jason from JYP called within two hours of the request, on a Sunday, and was ready come out the next day, a national holiday, for their standard flat fee. Jason gave us extra information about our new water heater to make sure it's what we were looking to buy. He also picked it up for us no fuss. He came on time and got right to work. Although our existing setup was antiquated and confusing, Jason continued to diligently work and troubleshoot until everything was resolved and the new heater installed. I called this plumbing company based on Yelp reviews just out of curiosity. My wife and I got home from work last week to find our bathroom floor very wet. Not being able to fix the problem myself, I spoke to Jason by phone to see how fast he could respond. He said they had someone very close by and would be there in approximately 1/2 hour! This was must quicker than I expected and they were there within 20 minutes! The water leak, which turned out to be fairly minimal, was repaired in about 15 minutes by Jason's co-worker Eva! I've been having a series of house related issues this month and have been stressed to the max. Last night, I noticed the kitchen faucet was leaking from the base and starting to make an about-to-fail noise. I have had Jason come out to service my home twice. I'm up in Carmel Valley. He provided next day service for both visits. The first mission was to fix my bathroom sink. We had our popup fall into the trap because the head of the popup broke off. Because everything was glued, the solution was to replace the old metal piping with PVC. It looks great, water flows normally, and it doesn't have that funny smell anymore. The second visit was today (Saturday). Jason fixed my kitchen sink and also installed a new toilet. The new toilet works and looks great. The sink is flowing perfectly. I initially selected them because they were the only business that took my call and responded quickly. He promptly arrived along with "Eva" during the time frame he specified. Both Steve and Eva were friendly and professional. They were honest and straightforward about the repairs needed. They suggested a solution that ultimately saved me a few hundred dollars. In the end, they spent about 1 hour at my place and charged me a very reasonable rate. I was given a clear invoice detailing the work they did and the parts they used. They even wrote down future recommended repairs (when I have the money). After having issues with my garbage disposal not working and my kitchen sink not properly draining, I called JYP and spoke to a very friendly man. The company is close to my home and I'm a huge proponent of supporting local businesses. I told him my issues- he made some suggestions over he phone in what he believed was the cause- and assured me it would be an easy fix the next afternoon. I left work early to be home for my scheduled appointment at 3- and after two hours, no one has yet to arrive and my phone calls to JYP are not being answered or returned. Use this service at your own RISK. They replaced a perfectly good fixture and charged an arm and a leg to do so. Then, they charged to remove and replace a supply line that they never replaced. About four weeks later the 'supposed replaced line', burst and created a flood. Several phone calls (to an answer machine) later, I have yet to be able to talk to a human.
