I generally don't go out of my comfort zone of companies I call. I found Actions name and thought I would give them a call thinking it would probably be another place that wouldn't be able to help, when I talked to the owner Mike I was so glad I called. Mike was able to come out immediately and get a new boiler on its way. He had his technicians out the next morning to replace our old boiler and put in a new one. They did an awesome job and were very professional. Our new boiler is great and we couldn't be happier. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to others

I had an issue where I needed to replace my pressure relief valve on my hot water tank. My tank was pretty old and they said that would be the cheapest fix but if the tank started to go bad then I would need a new one all together which was really expensive. A friend of mine recommended I call Force Heating and Cooling, they came out and quoted me a much more affordable rate for an entire new tank all together! Not only were they extremely friendly, their work for removing the old and installing the new was quick, clean and efficient! I was so happy with their work, I have used them since for my furnace and will only continue to use them for all of my HVAC needs! Highly recommended!

I also learned of an elderly couple they were taking advantage of by "not being able ti get a part" for their 9 year old Lennox furnace and scared them into a $13,000 new unit. I smoke so I have nothing against it but when you're paying through the nose for a service I guess I expect some sort of professionalism and smelling like a dispensary to me isn't acceptable when you're working. I recieved a quote when they got here, they wouldn't give one over the phone. They are quite expensive. He showed me one price of one thousand some dolllars for hydrogetting and another for just rootering it for $410 and said they come with a warranty. I didn't want to wait another week for someone else to give me a quote (which is probably exactly why they wont give quotes over the phone) so I just agreed to pay it. My sister for example lives in Bowling Green. She has had this done 4 times and pays about $250 and they get rid of the roots. I paid the $410 . When he was done he said there are roots and if you don't pay the thousand for us to remove them they say I can't give you the warranty. They should probably lead with that. Update. 2 days later and my toilet is barely flushing. So yeah.

They were polite and caring people - two young men showed up one worked one helped as needed -…read moreafter an hour and half working on bathroom sink and kitchen sink the one young man went under the house and discovered the kitchen pipe had a hole in it - within 5 mins he charged me $95 said he'd come back with boss with estimate next day - poof they were gone - never heard back from them Then next day we used Rooter Man, LLC again nice gentleman came - turns out they were all nephews in the family - then things turn to hell - we explained the issue and what happened and how we were abandoned - we agreed sink drain needed estimate - he went under and viewed the issue - decided to work on bathroom sink and fix that for $150 since we wasted $95 day before and they were nephews - he didn't have a watch or phone on him - 4.5-5 hrs later he fixed the bathroom clog - his boss called US TWICE to contact him and check on him because if time - gentleman admitted he lost track of time and didn't realize he'd been there that long - ended up charging us $361.25 - problem I had was he didn't track his time despite us telling him and checking on him - he promised to come back and give us estimate - no call next day - we called they denied knowing us we provided details - response "OH" - well we will be out after he finishes his current job for estimate - again no call another day no water usage - 4 days now Here's the issues I have - we were honest and said we were concerned about price because we are on disability - we were honest about it and said estimates would help - then find out both companies refused to come out for estimates because "we don't have money" our disability and senior status was used against us - I had an issue either this along with the extra costs for repair because person on site chose not to track his time - then denied service - then the gentleman threatened physical harm on me because I dared to question their actions and choices and said I had an issue with moving forward with a $100 check he was given - avoid Drain Master and definitely avoid Rooter Man, LLC in Toledo if your a senior citizen and/or on a fixed income these people will rip you off and treat you badly they have no respect or decency

I was told to call Alternative Plumbing, by a young man named Todd, from Alexis Drain Cleaning in…read moreToledo. I had called Todd's company, because I had a bit of water back-up in my floored basement, near my washer. (Note that I have not even used that washer for probably six months. Todd poked around inside the floor drain in the basement, and said he found some tree roots. He showed me a few little roots and some dark mud. (The soil outside is more orange). He told me to call Alternative Plumbing. A man came out (I believe the owners of the Company), and went to the basement. He said he would need to install a temporary sump-pump(as I had to go out-of-town the following week for a few days and, they would have to chop out some of the nice porcelain floor tiles to get a "temporary pump in." He said the cost would be $4,600.00 and then said he needed half the money immediately. I wrote him a check (he had done nothing), expecting him to come out the next day (between 12:00 and 3:00 as promised). He was supposed to come out today between 12:00 and 3:00 to install a temporary sump-pump. I was supposed to get a call before he came out by someone named Gabby. No one called. So I called their office at around 1:30. She said someone would be out. I asked when? She said soon. I asked what the owners name was and she said Gab. I had heard nothing at 3:00, so I called the office again. Gabby (the woman) said that he (Gab) was eating his lunch. (Since I was waiting for him to come, I did not have my lunch). I was not happy as they had caused me to loose half of my day - for nothing. It was very disrespectful for them to waste my valuable time. Around 3:30 two different men cam out: Garry and Don. They are now looking at the situation. (Don said he wasn't sure why he was sent, as he said he was a faucet guy). Don said he would try to help me It is now 4:09. UPDATE: Getting Better! The two gentlemen who ended up coming out at 3:30 (Garry and Bob) were actually a big help in getting a temporary sump-pump put in, and working to drain water away from my basement. Bob said they had been given a different time-range, than I had been told. This pump is only temporary, but they explained things, got the temporary pump-in and were courteous. I commend Garry and Bob. (The permanent sump-pump will go in later. I am praying that - that work is done with care, and quality in my tiled basement). I raised my rating from a 1 to a 4 this evening, because they worked hard. i will UPDATE-AGAIN after the final work is done.

It was no problem when I asked to change the appointment window (two-hour window) and to reschedule my appointment for the next day. I spoke with several people during the scheduling process and all were extremely pleasant. Second, Patrick, the technician, showed up exactly as scheduled. He was extremely professional and gave me an estimate that I agreed to before he began the repair work. He successfully fixed a toilet, resolved a water pressure issue, and installed a new shower head. He also pointed out an issue that could require service in the future. I opted not to have it done immediately. I think the price was reasonable based upon work performed. I would recommend Mr Rooter and wouldn't hesitate to contact this business again.

Total rip off my family had these guys come out and they charged 2900 dollars to not even fix the…read moreissue. They where to come out and fix a clogged toilet which they then charged for random things that where never done. They said that their sub pump was bad in which they took and the sub pump was brand new. Asked for the pump back and they wouldn't return the pump back. Not even a week later the toilet had the same issue and this company wouldn't even stand behind their work and come check it out. This company is a total rip off avoid this company at all cost go somewhere else
