On 7/4/26, a staff member was sitting in the cooler handing out water bottles -- 1-2 each -- to select customers, but skipped over us entirely. When we finally got inside, she asked how we were doing. My 80-year-old mother mentioned it was hot, and the employee replied, "Is it that hot since you're out?" -- dismissive, especially right after handing out water to other customers and not us. It felt like the staff cater to a certain type of customer, and we didn't fit that mold. Very disappointing and disheartening after being loyal customers for so long especially on July 4th.

They have an amazing selection of plants and all of their plants are very healthy and ready for their new homes! Even their half-price greenhouse plants looked great! Their prices were comparable to other local nurseries but selection and service is what Covington's rocks on. I was asked everytime I went to a new section if I needed any assistance. If not, I would have been better off buying flowers from Kroger and making my own. I was going to be giving it to my mother that evening at her birthday dinner, so I wanted it to be extra special. It was the owner's attitude that blew it for me. It really caught me off guard. I truly hope she was having a bad day and unaware and she was taking it out on everyone around her.
