Upon entering their cafe/ gift shop, I noticed they had a Stranger Things Theme. There were a few families that were enjoying the large sitting area with couches, tables and table games. They really spent a long time crafting this theme and I really enjoyed all of the themed touches. I ordered a "Plain Jane" ice coffee which was delicious. You could see small pieces of graham cracker that added a good flavor. They had some baked goods available in addition to soda. They also offered a coffee flight which is something I would order if I was spending time with friends. There was one barista which did a great job keeping up with orders and communicating with customers. Next, I ventured out to check out their event space. They had an indoor event space with a shaded outdoor space right next to it with a bar area as well. After checking out the event space I looked at their flower, herbs and small cactuses outside the cafe. They had a small selection but good quality plants for a modest price. I also checked out their selection of pots and various plants outside the event space in additional to looking at their selection of trees and shrubs. Honey Locust would be a place I'd come to get coffee with friends as well as watch for any events they might have with the community. The theming they do in the coffee shop is fun and definitely worth coming to check out with your friends or family. All age levels would enjoy time here.

Services: 1) Engaging events such as plant care, build your own plant arrangement, bonsai class, etc. perfect for a day with friends or family! 2) Repotting services- You can bring your plants here to repot. If you have a decorative pot you'd like to keep your plants in they will repot your plants in a nursery pot that fits right into the decorative pot! In addition, you can also purchase more plants to fill in the plant pots if there's room to avoid root rot :) My plants definitely enjoyed their spa day!

One of the most delightful features of this nursery are the cats that live on the premises. My sons and I love petting the cats; there is one in particular we enjoy seeing the most as he is the sweetest kitty on the property and his name is Vail. I only say that to make the point I have been to a lot of nurseries in my day. Covington's is one of the best nurseries I have been to. They have an amazing selection of plants and all of their plants are very healthy and ready for their new homes! Even their half-price greenhouse plants looked great! Their prices were comparable to other local nurseries but selection and service is what Covington's rocks on. I was asked everytime I went to a new section if I needed any assistance. These folks were amazing and I can't wait to come back, even though this place is nowhere near my home!
