Cy's is a great shop for those of us looking for a decent VW mechanic that isn't a dealership…read moretrying to get you to trade in or charge you crazy prices for parts. Ray at Cy's is a good guy. At first glance, less hardy individuals may feel like they might be taken for a ride. First impressions are not always accurate. Ray was really nice and explained everything really extensively, making sure I knew exactly what he was doing. He also recommended what I might want to have done, and what I didn't need to have done at that time. His prices were more than fair and he did whatever he could to get me the best deal on parts. His labor fees for actual garage work are more than fair, compared to a lot of other places. He showed me the broken part after the fact and explained what the new part looked like in place of. Ray gave me an accurate estimate on price and stuck with it and his estimated time was flexible: I dropped off my car in the morning so he could assess the problem and give me a time estimate which he initially had thought it would take him until the next day as he had another car on the lift. I also had to be at work for the day. Later that same day he phoned to tell me that my car was finished and I could pick it up later that evening! Amazing. Ray only accepts cash, no credit cards so be aware of this before deciding to go through with a big fix. I've found my VW mechanic for sure. It's a good feeling.

Communication to get this car serviced is impossible…read more Any kind of features you're looking for in their new lineup of 2025 would be an utter waste of money considering they don't work 85% of the time. If you bring it up to them be prepared to be worked against, even though aftercare is their "pride". Not to mention the insane hassle they put me through just to verify my veteran service. ( I have a dd214, showed my veteran ID card, and even offered any other types of documents that could collaborate my claim). Long story short if you're a vet and are buying new steer clear of this

So I had to go down the road to an actual autobody place that has equipment that works to have my tent measured and it was fine so I had to pay to get a certificate, which was $45 and bring it back into the dealership Into their quick lane and wait again for my car to get its inspection sticker which I was supposed to have an appointment for an hour and a half ago. The car was brand new in 2022, and it came the way it was, which the manager questioned. For two years we have had everything done for our vehicle at this location, but they will never see my vehicle or my money. In fact, they inspected it last year with flying colors. The manager brought me the law on a print out, as if I was supposed to know this ahead of time and bring the certificate with me. He said "it's your vehicle. I'm a new Manager and we do things by the book" I guess last year anything was ok. In addition, when I got there for my appointment, the guy in the Hawaiian shirt said hi but the other two people present said nothing. No one else was there. One lady finally asked if I had an appointment and who I was. When I confirmed it, I gave her my keys and sat down in the waiting room. Fast forward to when this same lady tells me to just come back after I get my "certification" that they'll give me a sticker. When I arrived, I waited for a second clerk to get off the phone and said "here's the certificate. I'd like my sticker. I just spent $45 because apparently you don't have working equipment to measure tint", the First Lady told me I'd have to wait until tomorrow due to my attitude. Seriously, are you kidding me?
