Sketchers has become my numero uno in footwear! Over the course of this year, I've purchased two…read morepairs of dress shoes, one pair of trail shoes, which added to the Sketchers household shoes I've had around for a while! The deals here really make it difficult to not visit every day! I used to be a New Balance guy but I found what seemed to be changes in the shoes that caused them to not last as long as they used to. I didn't need to stick with NB anymore since my military service ended. But I found an opportunity to give another brand a try. I picked up a sturdy black trail shoe that continues to impress me and shows no signs of wearing out, whether on the trails shooting photos and videos, walking the beach, or for everyday use. I picked up a couple of dress shoes as well. One was a pair of brown slip-ins, that not only fit like a glove, but are a comfy as all get out! With both of these, my old Walking Co. shoes have been replaced. My second pair of dress shoes are black waterproof but are not slip-ins. Each pair have been terrific in appearance and durability. It's pretty clear Sketchers has come a long way in recent years! I will say if you come here, first you much look for deals - that's what an outlet like this is all about. Also, you must sign up for emails and rewards! You will get rewarded many times over! I'll finally say that the customer service has been stellar. I truly appreciate the employees here helping me with my questions and aiding me to get the best in the deals they offer. Some years back I bought a pair of Skechers tennies that had a flaw in the heal area and I had to return them. I stayed away from them until this year. There are no mirrors in personal changing room only in common area. So I stepped out to see the fit of a dress I tried on, came back and my personal clothes along with store pieces were collected without me knowing. I asked around and the employees returned them to me including a shirt that was the wrong size from what I originally picked out. (Which was the only item I ended up wanting to buy). Since it was the wrong size they offered to have the right size delivered to me but not informing me of the additional shipping costs. In the end having my clothes taken and paying more than what I originally planned ruined my first experience shopping here.

I am usually on a mission to find something specific when I do shop here. The store is very large and there are clothing options for everyone for all sorts of occasions. I usually start my shopping in the men's section since it is right at the entrance. I have purchased cargo shorts for hubby in the past and he liked them so I look for them. I also look for men's pajama pants for myself because I like them baggy. Unfortunately, I have not found any yet here. I then make my way towards the women's section and start in the back by the clearance section. I usually find at least one item in the clearance area. I then make my way towards the front of the store, browsing through the women's section. In the next aisle, it is athletic and logo clothing. I walk through but rarely buy anything in this section because why would I pay for clothing to advertise their logo?!? This location has never been seriously busy. With that being said, I rarely have waited on line to pay. There is always at least one employee behind the registers and they are completing some kind of task while they wait for a customer to come up and check out. From my experiences, they are not most bubbly people but that is fine. The prices are reasonable but I have noticed the outlet jeans fit completely different than the regular store ones so I no longer purchase them. I do love their pajama pants but they do not have them in stock all the time.

I've been wearing clothing from both over the last 4-5 years in shirts and trousers and just find them to be the best for my daily casual wear. 5.11 Tactical offers great looking clothing that fits the needs of law enforcement, first responders, and perhaps in some cases, military personnel. I find their pants and shirts comfortable, with stretch material that gives breathing room as you wear them. I especially like the various types of trousers they offer as they have multiple pocket sets (in some cases even pockets within pockets) because it gives me the space to put some small camera gear when I'm out on YouTube video shoots or doing photography for myself or my channel. Now, you won't find suits for church here but I will say their pants and shirts are certainly good enough to wear when you attend church! It's my type of wear weekly. As for value, note that 5.11 is a specialty store, which means you will pay oftentimes above what you may expect. This shop does not offer military discounts, BUT I will say that you can find great deals when they have clearance sales. I left with a bundle during my visit. Also, if you are military, you can get 5.11 Tactical apparel at the Navy Exchanges at 20 percent off or on special occasions at 40 percent off. That is to say, there are still good ways to get deals on 5.11 clothing - it's how I purchase all of mine. In addition to shirts, trousers, and shorts, you can find excellent boots and reinforced shoes designed for law enforcement and first responders here. I'd like to get a pair for trail walking - I may do that soon! The service from the employees here on this day was excellent!
