I brought my car into this shop when my transmission failed on me. Bringing it in, the main mechanic Moe, charged me 3,100 for what he said was a new transmission. I found it very odd as soon as the transmission he installed was a TH 350 which is much smaller than what my Buick Riviera (1967) requires. He failed to communicate with me the entire process and the estimated 2 weeks it was supposed to take for labor became 3. Furthermore, he attempted to claim other issues in my car attempting to claim my brakes were non functional which was completely false. After the 3 week mark I came to look at my car myself and upon arriving I found that my cars body was completely damaged. This included scrap marks on the passenger panel and collision damage to the front. I inspected his work on my transmission and not only was he not finished but he had completely botched the job as there were mismatched and misplaced bolts, leaks literally everywhere and on an attempt to drive the car to test it myself the transmission completely blew. This does not include damage I later found to other parts of my car such as the drive shaft, hanger barring, and drivers side rear control arm. I found all of this and brought it another shop, to which they estimated my total damages to the drive train at 6,000 (not including body work). And the other shop also reviewed my car and insured me these damages were mechanically made and very likely by Moe who I had just retrieved my vehicle from. I went in for a transmission job paying 3,100 and left with 6,000+ in damages created by them When I demanded a refund they only gave me back 1,100 of the 3,100 I had paid and refused to give out any insurance information to cover my costs. Furthermore, they claimed they had video surveillance of a car that hit and ran my vehicle while they had it parked outside their shop but refused to give up any information or the video itself. They are also refusing to cover any of the costs to the damages the caused on my car and as mentioned any information to the supposed other parties involved. Do not go to this shop they will scam you, botch your car, and all around attempt to thieve you. I'm currently looking to pursue legal actions, if anyone has a case or information they'd like to add on this dude I'd greatly appreciate it. read more

I worked at the liquor store next door , if your familiar with this neighborhood you should remember me being there daily , the 1 time I needed help getting my car fixed I got scammed and robbed by these people . I paid 600$ and my key ignition gave out within 8 months . And now they refuse a refund or for them to fix it . Don't support this place 2 thumbs down Zero stars . This is a rip-off repair shop. I took my car in for brakes and was told they use only the best parts. Based on this (even thought the cost was higher than other shops) I had them replace the rotors/pads. When I went to pick up the car the owner, told me he has to use cheaper quality pads and rotors because his supplier did not have the good quality parts in was going to use. Now after 2 months the brakes are grabbing and squeaking! This is a scam auto repair business. Stay away unless you like to get ripped off. read more

Mo sold me a lemon. In February i was looking at a car Mo was selling me and assures me EVERYTHING was perfect because he was the OWNER AND THE ONLY ONE WHO PUTS HANDS IN FOR MAINTENANCE. I paid 4,100 of 5,000 so far and 6 wks of owning the car but only 4 wks driving it..the car is starts making an ugly noise and the check engine light, oil light and other lights turn on amd it turned off on me. I had it towed home and Got a code of the problem.the nxt day i had it towed to "Mos shop 9the ave auto service" where it was there for 10 days and and only answered a few times just to not clarify what the issue was. He said he could. "Fix" it for 900 but when i asked to return it he only wanted to give me 1,100 back. After speaking to other victims, former AND CURRENT employees we now know Mo takes parts out of one car to "fix" another amd puts used parts amd charges them as new. instead of FIXING the problem properly Mo temporarily patches up the job just so you can go back and give him more money. Mo is more focused on the homeless women and suspicious people and activity that come in and out of the shop at all hours of the night. Mo IS NOT properly licensed as he states to be in IRAN. ONE of his pregnant girlfriends, NOT LEGAL WIFE, has been known to falsify documents for him in his other legal situations and thats why he is NOT BBB accredited. The building is NOW under that girlfriends name and who knows what else. she clearly is not a mechanic so now i will be seeing you all in court soon. read more

This place is not a auto service shop but a scam shop. Do not take your car here for anything. The guy comes out and gives a bunch of promises and once you leave your car you will end up waiting around for ever. I took a car for repair and the boss told me it will be done at the end of the day. I ended up taking my car by force 5 days later. All he did, so he said which I don't believe, was change an oil pressure switch and he charged me $200. Do not believe this Iranian crook. He gives you the run around for days and has his wife or girlfriend or whatever talk to people just to stall them. This guy should be investigated for scam and perhaps a lot more. He should not be in business. He does not deserve a one star. read more

Came in to have someone help me on my check engine light for a EVAP code related. Met Josue and was really helpful in the sense that he showed that he was willing to help me out. Gave me a few tips and once I came back he checked I was good to go for a smog check. Josue then directed me to Brian's Smog/Auto Shop down the street and passed smog!
