Not too bad! I didn't catch the lady that did my nails, but I do think she was relatively newish. However, she really took her time to do the best she could. Afterwards there were a few things that I noticed.. a couple slightly uneven (but really not super noticeable) and nail polish missing on a couple sides of my nails, but again really not too noticeable. I would say I'm a regular even though I get busy and don't have time to book it with my regular nail technician. First of all my nail tech is amazing, all his designs are hand drawn and very intricate. He takes good care of me even when another place almost gave me a fungus. My nails lifted from going to sugarhouse nails after a week and a half and I almost got a nail fungus!!! Anyways this is my go to spot and I'm not kidding all my jewels and crazy designs stay in and they do not lift! Also you will wait at any nail place no matter if you have an appointment a month ahead of time. That's how almost all nail salons are, if you wait 15+ minutes that just shows you how busy and popular the place is. Just expect to wait even if you made an appointment, they can't turn down walk ins because many of them rely on walk ins. read more

I've been a client here for a few years, Local business. Lots of employee drama, can't keep good help long. I've taken friends and family here and they won't return after trying a couple of times. Their pedicures are ok, toes usually need cleaning up around edges ( tape bleed look) and some times they dig too much into your cuticles Making your toes sore. The owner usually will open up the salon, maybe on time maybe not. Even when she has appointments waiting at the door, she will still make them wait 30 min. or so for her to do her religious stuff, as a professional she should come in earlier ( time & place for everything, right) . The owners son Tony, no regard for clients time, does fantastic designed acrylics but you'll have to wait 30-60+ minutes past your appointment EVERY time. He does a lot of cancelling his appointments because of the excuse of the day. I have moved on to greener pastures and so have my friends & family. read more

If they super busy, Tina will ask if I could come back at a later time and I respect that. They're clean and let me bring my own polish. Tony and his mom always politely greet me as well. I have been coming to this salon for a little over 2 years, Tony never fails to amaze me with his talent. He really takes the time to make your nails exactly the way you want them, and flawless, he would never let you walk out of there knowing you're unsatisfied with his work or from any other technician there. I've also gotten pedicures there and the women do such a good job, they're gentle and really take their time leaving you relaxed once you're finished. Even my boyfriend who was terrified to get a pedicure because of salon horror stories enjoyed himself tremendously and now begs me to go get a pedicure with him. I recommend this salon to everyone I know, and everyone who asks where I go (which I get asked A LOT). The bad reviews on here are mostly about the wait time, which I'll admit sometimes you may have to wait 10-15 minutes extra, but that's because these guys and gals are the BEST and in high demand, they always make sure to get everyone in and out in a timely manner while still providing the very best. When you come here you get quality work and quality customer service. It is worth it, and last but not least their prices are very affordable. read more

My cuticles were cut so bad I was bleeding on several toes and badly bleeding on 1 toe and the tech just put my foot back in the pedicure bowl!!! I was referred to go here by a close friend and she was horrified when she saw my toes. She had never had that kind of experience herself but we will both be going elsewhere for the fear of infection from lack of skilled techs and proper infection measures with blood borne pathogens. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. They say they open at 10 and we waited for HALF AN HOUR outside of the store and they still weren't open by 10:45. Called at 5:34 and they were able to fit me in at 5:45 for a manicure and pedicure. When I arrived I was able to sit right away and Nan (an older gentleman that works there/may own the place) came out to do my nails. He was personable and engaged in conversation with me. He took excellent care of me and did a great job! I'm so pleased!! He went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and relaxed. He consistently asked for feedback to make sure I was satisfied along the way, and I was. He asked if I also wanted a manicure (which I did but hadn't come in for originally), he worked on my hands while the paraffin wax removed dead skin from my feet (a free upgrade for the holidays- normally $5). Then he had me move over to a different station to do gel polish. They had literally like 100+ colors to choose from which didn't help because I can be indecisive, so I asked Nan what he thought and he helped me select the color- which I love! Overall I'm so pleased with my choice to come into 99 nails. I will definitely book another appointment with them- specifically Nan. Hope this helps Yelpers! P.S. The workers are very nice but lacking in skill. Several of my nails had air bubbles and did not have a smooth finish. Many of them you could see the layers where they didn't completely coat the nail with polish. They just did not look good. They also rushed us out after we were done before our nails were completely dry so they immediately smeared. You get what you pay for. It was cheap to get them done and matching cheap quality. I would give this salon 4 stars, if the wait wasn't so long. I call 3 hours ahead of time to inquire about an appointment for a deluxe pedi. I was told 5pm. I didn't get to a chair until 5:40. My pedi took an hour and a half as the technician kept getting up and down. Also, way to loud in conversation with other coworkers. Not relaxing.
