However I really have no idea what to order! Fortunately the girl behind the counter helped steer me in a good direction. My drink was the fruity one and my son got the brown sugar milk... he didn't get boba but I got strawberry boba. My drink was powerfully sweet! Almost made my teeth rot as I was drinking this. It was ok... but there was an over powering taste of tea in it as well. Not bad but not something I would order again either. My son took several sips of his and then tossed about 80% of it away. He didn't like it either. Again the overwhelming taste of tea was not for him either. I guess we just aren't in the hip crowd here... not our cup of tea you could say.

We had no idea there were so many different ways to process coffee beans so we ended up looking them up while enjoying our drinks. Once we learned more about them, we were so intrigued that we actually ordered some coffee online afterward! It was easy to see why this cafe is so popular. The line kept getting longer and longer the entire time we were there. It's a fairly small cafe so seating was pretty limited as well. I ordered the Latte with Caramel Cardamom and it was delicious! My husband got the Coffee Shot of Chamomile Pink Bourbon from their "Coffee Nerd Drinks" menu. He was especially interested in it because of the brewing method. I'm usually not a black coffee drinker but I tried a sip and was surprised by how much I liked it. Lattes are available hot and cold and with a variety of milk choices. I got a hot "LavLove" latte (lavender and vanilla) with whole milk. It was ready quickly and I was pleasantly surprised - the taste was delicate and floral but not overpowering, and there was no bitterness at all from the espresso. I look forward to making this a regular treat, and I will definitely be back to check out the breakfast sandwiches and bakery items.

It only took a short time and I got it in a mug since I was planning on staying to work.
