Not located at Alpharetta mall anymore drove an hour away since there was no phone # to call and confirm. Waste of time.

A fantastic place for breakfast! The food is exceptional!…read more This was our second time back and it was every bit as good as we remembered. The biscuits are mouth watering and the meals are hearty! If you walk away hungry here it is your own fault. In the downtown Alpharetta are it is in a great place to people watch and wander if you'd like. Service is always good here and I truly appreciate the food. Come hungry though! It is a walkup order sit and wait for them to calm your nabe and bus your own table. But the order taker is very helpful, the cooks are excellent, and oooohhhh the food is "ohhhhh my Goddie tooooo dam Hottie!" Highly recommend this location!

The location is one of those where you order then go find a seat and wait for ten to call your name to get your food. So I scoped out a seat, which was easy since it was fairly empty on Wednesday for lunch. The staff greeted me promptly and I was able to place my order. I got the Sweet maple kids meal for the kiddo, which was a hit. The chocolate chip waffle was soft and full of chocolate. The whipped cream was a nice bonus. It also comes with a juice box. I ordered the sticky maple biscuit, which was pretty good, but I wu would not order again. The biscuit and bacon were great. The chicken was just too big for a sandwich. It was also a bit gizzlty. It made it very difficult to eat and it needed to be tenderized a bit more to give it that sandwich feel. This was just not the right piece of chicken for the sandwich. I ended up eating the biscuit with the bacon and syrup and it was very good.

The vibe of the restaurant is unmatched. Every single person on their staff brings something special. They aren't just kind; they just embody goodness. There is a warmth and authenticity that can't be taught. Hen Mother has created a little corner of the world where people slow down, feel seen, and are welcomed exactly as they are. It's rare to find a place that feels this unique. The food keeps you coming back, but it's the people who make it unforgettable. They are truly angel humans. My family and I never feel like we're just going out to breakfast. We feel like we're visiting extended family. In a world that can often feel rushed and impersonal, Hen Mother reminds you what hospitality, community, and genuine care are supposed to look like. We leave every single time feeling full- not just from the incredible meal, but from being loved on so well.

Almost my favorite new breakfast place! From decor to food, loved everything. The smoked salmon…read moreBenedict, served on a croissant, was awesome. Unique hash brown patties, deliciois. They charge $5 for their croissant, which was where it falls short. If it were the best croissant I ever had, perhaps. No substitutions. Always hated this rule for every restaurant, but I get it if you have a special and hundreds of customers. We were one of 3 parties on a weekday brunch, super slow. We also ordered the traditional breakfast and a kids breakfast. But instead of bacon, we wanted a croissant for the kids meal. They are both $5 in the menu when ordered separately. First the server said they didnt know (weird) then said they would check and left for 5 minutes. The answer was no. So I paid an extra $5 and added a croissant. I ate the bacon, which improved my salmon Benedict. But neither the croissant nor bacon felt like $5. Kids meal is now the cost of a regular. So I recommend if you dont want any substitutions, try this place. I wont be coming back. It really irks me that you cant just put bread instead of bacon on a kids meal. You aren't a robot, and you are not busy. You are also not getting me as a patron anymore. P.S. the Croissant alone was not worth $5. I rate it a 3 out of 5 on its own.
