The owner is a freaking gem! As are her employees. Incredibly helpful and friendly. It's small place with a few tables and we were lucky to get one of them. Decor is so cute and the place is super clean. Those pies though.... My husband and I each had the lunch special for 19.99 ea. I had the bbq brisket and my husband had the smoked brisket pie. Both were total perfection but that smoked brisket one was a clear favorite. The only mistake was that my husband opted out of the potatoes and gravy. Who even does that!!?? Anyways, next time I'll do it the right way. The personal pies are more than enough for one as we each only finished half. We did have salad also though. The lunch special is an amazing deal. We also got to choose a sweet pie but got them to go. I ordered the apple and he chose the monthly special which was peanut butter, chocolate and banana. Oh! The lunch special came with a drink also. We both had the Americano and I was very pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. I mean, really? Everything here is a 5/5. Must be nice to be so perfect haha. A very cool concept. Make your own custom pie for a meal AND/OR dessert. A delicious delicate flaky crust using fresh ingredients makes this a must try. Being my first time they were very kind and explained the process. Pick your meat veggies some add ons like mashed potatoes and or gravy. I went with the Smoked Beef Brisket with mushrooms, peas & carrots in a delicious beef gravy. I was surprised it was at the table in just a few short minutes. Hot and delicious. For dessert a very nice strawberry and dark chocolate pie with a nice hot cup of Americano. Doodle Pies for the win! read more

This place looked so promising. My friend and I placed our order and sat down to wait. Then some Influencers came in and went behind the counter to order and film some stuff. There was no one else in there but our order got stuck behind them filming and I think took at least 15 minutes. When I go home and ate my chilled chocolate cream pie, it had an odd taste that smelled like the oven smell of the store itself. I didn't enjoy the taste and threw the rest away. Hopefully this was an isolated experience and maybe it's just best to get a baked pie rather than one of the chilled ones in the case. read more

Finally was able to eat at Doodle Pies today, and I was not disappointed in the least! My wife & I ordered dessert pies (I will have to return to in the future to try their savory pies) - Peanut Butter Cheesecake and Berry-licious. They were so so good! Definitely worth many return trips! However, what made the taste even better was the phenomenal service. The proprietors were so conscientious and gracious! We felt like valued clients from the first moment we entered the shop. The restaurant was very clean as were the restrooms. Doodle Pies is located at the end of the shopping strip and has a very open atmosphere with so much natural sunlight entering through the large storefront window area. It's just a wonderful place! I had lunch here with my daughter and we had a great experience. We got standard recipes from the menu - chicken pot pie and shepherd's pie. They were both very tasty and piping hot! We were able to watch them being made, so they were very fresh. The key lime pie was just how I like it - very tangy, with regard to service, we were greeted immediately and told how the menu worked. The restaurant itself is on the small side but doesn't feel that way - the windows and light colors inside make it bright and clean. I highly recommend Doodle Pies! read more

Our first visit and well worth the stop!! Nice large parking lot in the strip mall. The store was nice and open with great lighting and very clean inside. The owners are husband and wife, Eric & Ann, and they were the nicest people. Eric told us how things work and Ann assembled and baked our scrumptious Rocky Road pie! She was so incredibly kind and friendly. We decided on the seasonal pie with chocolate cookie crust and peppermint which was tasty. I'm not a huge fan of peppermint in my desserts, so I'd have to say it was a bit too peppermint tasting for me but the chocolate crust helped cut the flavor. Now the Rocky Road was right up my alley. My daughter said Ann crumbled brownies into the pie crust, added marshmallows and walnuts and put the top crust on them baked it. We received it nice and warm and couldn't wait to enjoy it. As soon as we arrived home, we opened up the cute take home box and started to devour it. The crust was delicious, flaky and buttery. What we didn't do but was asked if we wanted it was add some chocolate sauce on top. For sure next time we will and will also ask if marshmallows can be added on top of the crust before baking it then drizzle with the chocolate sauce. The filling might be a bit rich for some, but I'm a chocoholic so it was amazing!! The only sad thing is that Doodle Pie isn't close to us here in Alpharetta but then again maybe that's a good thing. Amazing Pies, Even Better Service Why did no one tell me about this place?! Doodle Pies has been open for three years, and I just now found it. Shame on me. First up, the smoked beef brisket pie--think tender brisket, mushrooms, peas, carrots, and mashed potatoes on top with gravy. I took one bite, and my taste buds started doing a happy dance. Then I tried the barbecue pie--beef, BBQ sauce, onion strings--it was like a Southern cookout in pie form. And I couldn't leave without dessert. The peach pie with vanilla ice cream? Life-changing. I'm pretty sure that crust has superpowers. But the real MVP here is Ann. She was so friendly and excited about me trying their pies, I almost felt like a VIP. Great food, even better service. Decided to try a local Pie shop for PI Day. This place seemed cool like they were enthusiastic foe PI Day. The line, of course, was long due to the theme of the day . . . I almost left, but the place was smelling good, so I decided to wait it out. When I got to the register and asked the cashier what the PI Day deals were, she said it was about 3.14 off the $28 dollar four pie deal. Wasn't anticipating spending much as these are mini pies. I was, however, able to sign up for their email list and got a 20% off coupon for the Pecan Pie I got from the case. How was it? The Pecan Pie was Pecan pie-ing! It tasted as to be expected. I warmed it up at the house later. The service was friendly and professional. The price point is likely adequate for the production and maintenance of the business. This place has a 100 A inspection score. Didn't get the date of the inspection, but that's good to know. Just stopped in for the excitement of the day. Chicken pot pie is four stars as is the apple twist pie. If you go here, definitely plan to eat there. Somehow, they can bake the pies in 8 minutes. I'm not sure if the pot pies are made to order, but the quiche and dessert are. I wasn't too crazy about the quiche. It's a bit rubbery and overdone. I'd describe doodle pie as the Chipotle of pies. You can pick all the stuff you want to go into your dessert or your quiche. Don't forget to order your dessert pie a la mode. The ice cream melting over the oven-fresh pie is delicious. read more

We had such a good time here last night! Store isn't huge but the place is cute and well laid out. The pies were amazing and the customer service is even better. This place was super easy to get too and plenty of parking. They are located in corner of shopping center and have cute seating outside as well. They are pet friendly. There was an adorable pup there. The location was very clean & I loved the decor, so cozy. From the moment we walked in everyone was so nice and patient. They answered all of our questions and helped us make a decision. We chose to split a sweet and a savory. We got rocky road pie without marshmallows and chicken pot pie with mashed potatoes and gravy. You can customize everything, which we loved!!! They were reasonably priced and super quick to make. I had purchased a few pies here previously, but I think this is the first time I'm trying a quiche. The quiches are made to order. You pick your own ingredients, and they bake your quiche in three minutes. Everything tastes super fresh and very flavorful. You can watch them making your quiche while you wait. apparently the owner created the concept for this store. Both he and his wife work here, and they are friendly and welcoming. They offer a new pie of the month each month. They also offer seasonal pies. right now, the pumpkin mousse pie is the pie of the season. I'll definitely be back to try more of their pies. read more

This place is my go to for desserts now, not only are their chicken pot pies some of the best chicken pot pies that I have had, but the desert pies are customizable and great for everyone you may come with. I have been a few times, and the people who work in the cafe are always super nice, but the owners are amazing and I have seen them training employees, working along side them, and they have never shied from telling us all about how they combined their interested and came up with this idea for a little restaurant. The store has the option to sit in the cafe or take things to go, they even give you instructions for baking the items at home if you're taking it to go and cold. I had never been to a pie shop like this before, and I absolutely love it. To have a place where you can get a customizable dessert is just a fun option when there isn't a ton of other options like that. Savory or sweet, this place got it all. I'm not a huge fan of pie but this mom and pop pie place definitely changed my mind. Probably one of the best chicken pot pie I've ever had! The crust of the pie was to die for! I had finished every tiny bit of the pie crust, it was that good. I love the fact that you can also customize your own pie and get it exactly how you want it to be. They also have catering which is great when you are throwing a party.
