I really hate giving mediocre ratings but 9280 Tap House is very inconsistent. This was my 3rd visit and each time the service is very slow and food is just below par. The location is Keystone resort so I get the prices being high. But the restaurant is always understaffed. Takes forever to order food and service is terrible. Always a help sign posted on the front door. Obvious these guys are not taking care of the employees. Ordered a draft beer and when offered a second one by the waitress received it when it was time to get the check. Like I said terrible service. Will not be back. read more

On a super busy weekday we had great service and great food! The sandwiches ordered at our table were HUGE (I think it was some kind of turkey sandwich) and so wasn't the chicken salad! I ordered the tacos and had more than enough to eat although would have liked the tacos a bit better if the meat was a little more seasoned and juicy (I ordered them with the chicken). The mango salsa that comes on top was delicious but sparse and I can't say enough about the fantastic kettle chips that came with the tacos!! I would definitely choose the chips over the fries! Brisket grilled cheese was awesome - brisket was nice and lean. Our other meals were good too. Fast and friendly service.

I came here on a Saturday in January with my husband and a friend around 12:30pm. The other pub was way too busy so we came here and I was able to snag the last table inside. There were plenty available outside but soon after it was packed as well. The service was ridiculously slow because of how busy it was, but the server was super friendly and I liked his personality. I saw the kid's grilled cheese on the menu and asked if I could get it even though I was a kid. The waiter said no. I asked if I could get like an adult grilled cheese and unfortunately he said on. Boo! I decided to get the Colorado Ale Beer Cheese Dip ($15.95) that came with an absolutely scrumptious cheese dip in a bread bowl, celery sticks, pretzels, pita bread, and carrots. The dip was magnificent but it did not go too well with the celery sticks or carrots. The pretzels tasted good with it only if they were drenched in it for a while until the pretzels got soggy. The pita bread and the bread bowl itself tasted wonderful with the dip. My husband got the French Dip ($13.95) which came with chips. It was a pretty small portioned sandwich but it was actually surprisingly really good because of the siracha aioli sauce. I almost ordered this without the sauce because I can't eat spicy. However, it was hardly spicy at all and it was the sauce that made the sandwich! My friend ordered the Tap House Tacos ($13.95) which came with two small tacos and chips. He did not really like tacos and said there was hardly any meat in them. Overall, the prices are insane. The restaurant definitely takes advantage of its great location at the resort to overcharge for its meals. The menu was not very appetizing at all and did not have much variety. However, two out of the 3 dishes I got were delicious so I am willing to give it a 4 star. To be honest though, I don't think anything else on the menu would be good. Came here again. Had a terrible waitress. I ordered the French dip with chips. It was good. My hubby got the meat sandwich (salami, pepperoni, etc)- it was good! But again, service was bad this time! read more

A cute place with a full bar, some beers on tap and bar food. The place is clean and menu seems to be well organized. Other than that, if you don't mind paying nearly $8 for a beer and you think a dollar off during happy hour from 3 to 6 is a good deal than you should come here. I just think they'd have a slightly more competitive edge on their pricing since the atmosphere seemed to more resembled a chain restaurant/bar and they weren't even on the slope. Other than that the place was clean. It just seemed as though they were missing something. This place would not not be my first choice to hang out. That's just my honest opinion. read more

Great for apres ski. I walked here from the gondola in my full gear ski boots and all and no one batted an eye when I started tugging off my ski boots-freeing my feet from their prisons. Good selection of beer local and otherwise. You can also get a huge schooner size beer which is awesome at the end of a long tiring day. For a pub they have surprisingly healthy options. i had the veggie wrap with couscous salad and it definitely hit the spot. Bonus points for homemade hummus. Bf had a west coast club-turkey, bacon and avocado and i guess it was good because I didn't get to try any! read more

Of course we were at Keystone skiing for the day, silly! Stopped here to grab some fuel for the remainder of the day and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Since it's on the resort and kind of convenient, I really wasn't expecting a whole lot out of my dining experience here. The service was cool and friendly- definitely had a ski bum server but 'twas all good. He was super awesome and provided great customer service. Food was good- just ordered sandwiches. Comparing to the resort here, but I thought food was much better here than inside the ski area by leaps and bounds. Only reason I don't give it more stars is because the value isn't quite there. I understand it's much more convenient and I guess that's the price you pay for what you get. read more

Nacho Mountain and Foosball table knock it out of the park. At the far left side of the base of Keystone Base, I had no idea ski resorts were so large. There was a whole ski in/out village on the other side of the resort further down the road. This place is alot of fun. This is a pretty good lunch/apres spot. They have TONs of TVs so its especially nice during football season if you want to take a break and catch a game. The menu consists of typical pub-food. I have had quite a few things off it and they are all quite tasty. The nachos are probably the biggest I have ever seen..it will fill up FIVE hungry skiers!! The prices are a bit unfavorable though. Food and drink are both pretty expensive. This is par for the course at the ski resorts though (unless its happy hour). The service is pretty good, especially at the bar. I really like to sit outside but thats where the service is slowest. If you are looking for something good but a bit cheaper hit up the new moon cafe around the corner...In my opinion its the hidden gem of Keystone. read more

We went to 9280 for some drinks and a light dinner while hanging out in Keystone and I have to say, the service was decent. They do have some good drinks there too so their bartenders seem to know their stuff! As for food, we ordered a salad and some cheese dip which we weren't too impressed with. The cheese dip seemed like it had been sitting around for a while and they just plopped it into a bread-bowl. It didn't taste all that great either. The salad was supposed to be a kale salad and we got romaine lettuce. Their patio space is great! Come down from skiing and grab a drink in the sun - so nice! Overall, our experience there was alright. I would probably come back for drinks. read more

The food was good, especially the cheese dip, so good and filling after a long day on the slopes. All of their sandwich meats are sliced in house, everything tasted fresh. I actually ate here three separate times while at the Keystone resort. In a resort location the high prices were to be expected but other than that overall I had very good experiences eating here except for the last time.. sometimes there's just that one awful customer service experience that spoils a place forever and unfortunately it seems there is one very bad apple working here as a server that makes me cringe at the thought of ever returning and having to deal with this guy. Chad was incredibly rude and was badmouthing other customers to his coworkers and under his breath but within earshot. I won't be returning here the next time I'm in town. =/ read more

If you're looking for a place to eat after a day of shredding then I'd go elsewhere. * The waitress was very upset she had to work and treated her customer as if they were a pain in the bum. * The place was sooo dirty. Weird boxes laying around. Cluttered. It made me wonder if they had roach issues. * The food was subpar. I had a basket of wings. Half of them had an odd texture. I could only imaging they were either old or had some serious frostbite. Something was just wrong with them. Stop by to have a beer, but nothing else... Poorly made, cheap bar-food... and veeeeery slow. The place is very noisy, not due to the pesky tourists but due to the loud music played inside. They also play LOUD music outdoors, looooooudly and disrespectfully of all the residents right above them and in the next condos in the plaza. I am happy i am not returning ever again! Good wings and Nachos for apres skiing

Location- Great location coming down from the slopes. Good to people watch and if the weather is nice enough you can sit outside. Price- Expensive, but I guess it comes with the territory. Service- HORRIBLE. We had the honor (sarcasm) of being attended by Chad. Curiously I read another review about a rude waiter and surprise surprise, it was the same one (bald head, beard). He is a total douche, and I try to avoid using french in my reviews but he earned it. When I asked him for a menu, he came and just threw it at me and kept going. REALLY???? Then he never came back to take our order, so we moved inside (it was getting chilly as well) and still nobody would come ask us if we needed something, so I had to hunt the waitress down and ask her to take our order. Drinks- I had one of their stouts on tap which was pretty good. Food- Had the basil pesto sticks (pizza) and it was delicious. Too bad this couldn't make up for the lousy experience. WIth all the other options in the River Run Village, I will never return here. read more

This was a casual place to wind down the evening after skiing. You can't beat the location, and the music was eclectic to say the least. From wheels on the bus to alternative rock to Tayler Swift. The waiters and bartender were all very friendly. We showed up on a very busy night, and the bartender kept up with it all. The broccoli chedder soup was excellent, and the specialty drinks were flowing. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and will definitely return next time we stay in Keystone. read more

Well, I have to agree with some of the others recently. It took over 15 minutes to get our server to take our order and then over an hour to get our food. This place used to be our go to every year we came to Keystone but we won't make that mistake again. No urgency from anyone (except one server who was actually told some guests it would be over an hour for food). No manager available (I guess they were bartending.). Don't visit unless you want to spend the whole afternoon waiting for lunch. read more

Food was not very good. French dip didn't come with au jus- I had to ask for it. The roast beef was cold, and the fries were greasy, cold, and flavorless. Beer cheese was lumpy and cold, as other reviewers have said. The hummus appetizer was ok. The service was slow and disinterested, and not friendly at all. Loves! Personally, this is my favorite spot to grab a beer after hitting it hard on the slopes. Great beer selection, really good whiskey selection, and the food is delicious as well reasonably priced. The bartender, Scott, is awesome and incredibly personable. We stopped in to put some chow in our stomachs before hitting up the Wine and Jazz Festival. Our group of 8 got great service from Liz. The menu covers a range of good solid bar food and sandwiches. Large portions on some of the menu, but overall a decent deal. The nachos run $20, but once you see the mountain of chips, cheese, and about a pound of meat, you won't be disappointed. read more

As someone being in the customer service industry this was by far the worst I have ever experienced. Stopped here after hitting the slopes with a couple of friends. We ordered drinks and Jake our server checked our ID's and then proceeded to let us know that where we were from (Nebraska) smells like cow manure. Thanks? Then my friend ordered another drink. 30 minutes goes by and he had never even put the order in for the drink at all. So we tell him never mind on the drink and we would like to cash out. We all split the bill so separate transactions. Jake brings me someone else's card with a receipt for my bill $17. So he ended up charging my card for someone else's bill for $40 and then also charged me for mine as well so I was charged 2 times now. The manager came over to explain that the wrong charge would be voided and put back into my account. So we go to leave and we all checked our accounts to make sure everything was okay and my friend had an extra charge on her account for $35 along with what her original bill for $17. So we had to go back after we had left to make sure they had voided that transaction as well. We went back in there to speak to the manager and he walked past us multiple times ignoring us until we finally got his attention. He said the transaction was voided, but was also very rude about it. It took us an hour trying to figure out the mix up and not once did anyone apologize for the inconveniences. We visit Keystone area frequently and will not be returning here. read more

Service was not the best - had to constantly remind the waiter about our food or drinks. At one point I had to get up and find him. The atmosphere was neat and close to all of the shops in Keystone. As for the food, I can't exactly comment bc they were out of just about everything. However, I'm a believer of second chances so I'd give this place another shot. Went for lunch. It seemed pretty busy, our waiter told us they were, but they were less busy than the places surrounding them. He told us the wait times for food was About 45 minutes to and hour. Totally fine since it was busy but all of our entrees were missing things the menu says they come with. The Dip had no au jus with it....and they were supposed to come with pickle Spears which they didn't. I wouldn't normally be bothered by that but the 45 minute wait plus 15 dollars for a mediocre/small sandwich was disappointing. Won't go again that's for sure!! read more

The nachos were wonderful and were an enormous portion! We had great service went there several times in our stay past 2 years. I tell everyone I know go there great atmosphere. I was visiting Keystone for a few days of skiing and I happened upon 9280 while walking through the village. Best location in Keystone village and very convenient. What a warm and inviting experience. I have been to many bars at many ski resorts and this is my favorite. I sat down at the bar and within 30 seconds, there was a tall glass of ice water in front of me. The bartender Scottie wanted to know what he can get for me, i asked for a minute and and within no time the second bartender Kristen wanted to know what she can get for me. These are the best bartenders i have ever had they were kind, patient, friendly, hospitable and inviting. I made sure to come back on my second day and got to meet yet another wonderful bartender- Alex. Same great service as Scottie and Kristen. They made the best Bloody Mary I ever had. All the employees there are wonderful from management, servers, bartenders to the busser. Best apres ski experience ever! This place is a must on your next ski trip to Keystone. I can't wait to tell all my friends back home and I will sure to be back on my next ski trip. Make sure to order the Tap House Nachos and the loaded potato soup! Thank You! Hanna read more
