Firstly i must say, great employees, never have had a bad experience or a reason to complain about the food (which is very tasty). They have trivia nights, and sometimes there is live music. I never thought I would be one of those people but I'm one of those who will drive for a great beer. 903 Brewery located in Sherman,TX. It's about 45 minutes outside of Dallas. Yes, you've seen 903 at your local stores but not everything (Wink Wink). I was in search of the Peach Mango Slushy and Stouts for my friend. I was open to trying something new and tried to stay in my budget. The Brewery is tucked past residential area. There's a small patio to sit but more room inside. The place is functional and decorated in past beer releases and upcoming jewels. I'm sure I came through before they got busy. That was perfect because I had the opportunity to taste ask questions about the beers. I got a couple of suggestions. They were accommodating to help me get the best for my buck. If you have the time you can order a made to order pizza. So here are my current pours below OH MY GOD Becky, look at that BEER This is the 2nd summer beer that had a lot of buzz. I was so intrigued. I made my way down to Sherman and picked up a couple. @903_brewers has a slushy series to be reckoned with. Smoothie Style Gose with Peach and Mango 4.5 ABV Now my greedy beer a$$ didn't read the suggestion for optimal consumption. All slushy beers are to be consumed very cold. Before you open turn it over once to ensure the fruit that has settle is distributed. When I tell you this stuff is good. It's so Juicy and fruity. A Boozy Sonic slush is what I imagine. If you can get your hands on this you won't be disappointed. Beer NightCap..." It's Momma's Grown Up Juice" I got pick this version of Slushy as well last weekend. It's was an impulse because you never know when this city girl is going to venture to the country again. The @903_brewers rep told me, "This is like drinking Welch's Grape Juice." So right he was. It's So Juicy. This Sour- Gose is packed with Blueberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Vanilla, and Lactose. 4.7 ABV This is great to end the day. I'm allowed some space in my bed by my pups. So very sorry we chose to bring family for a nice lunch at this establishment and we would like to share our experience with you from July 6th, 2021. Protocol is a bit non-traditional (non-restaurant)as there is no host/hostess and no noticeable signage to this effect. We were met in the middle of the indoor area by Ashlyn and handed menus and told to sit any where we might like. The three of us sat down in front of the TouchTunes jukebox as we love the freedom of being able to listen to music of our choice but it was truly difficult as a large party was letting their ill-behaved children run through everyone's nice sit-down lunch screaming and yelling as if they were outside or at McDonald's play land and the parents and owner were apparently fine with this behavior. (Their patrons were not as evidenced by nonverbal communication etc.) We selected some dishes and had quite a number of music selections purchased. Food came out quickly and was very tasty and a good value for the price points. Vibe was great except for this family and their egocentric behavior. Truly. We recommend any of the ooey gooey grilled cheese selections as they were very nicely prepared but the climate inside with the kids running around, knocking over beer displays and the like was a bit much for most everyone in the place. The staff was not at liberty to say anything to this obnoxiously loud group of individuals as, apparently, they were quests of the owner, who had a cardboard cut out of himself if front of the 903 brewery sign located inside so it wasn't hard to figure out. We couldn't believe it. Really couldn't believe that these were the behavior norms for this place at 2 in the afternoon. Now, the food and water and service by Ashlyn aside, we sampled 3 stout offerings and did not care for any of them, especially the Big Foot/Sasquatch beer that was being pushed by both signage and merchandise. Strong NO to all we sampled. The intolerable noise continues, parents oblivious, and at this point other patrons are saying things to the children as they run screaming by and we spoke to Ashlyn who could do very little because these, we were told, we're quests of the owners!! Might we recommend a private room for your guests, perhaps outside or just keep the kids at a table and teach them proper and decent indoor restaurant behavior? Then, the best part and the reason for the one star... One of the guests decides to pull the jukebox out from the wall and turn down the TouchTunes (paid for by patron throughout the brewery) to silent as it was "Just too much" for them to handle!!! Are you kidding us? Everyone in the place was wondering what was up and now we are going to take a 14 member photo of this family reunion or whatever it was, and they were so loud, and the owner was right there in the photo with them. Seriously? Sorry we interrupted your private event. You had absolutely NO RIGHT, Karen to adjust the juke box. Seriously inappropriate behavior. So...if you would like to have a nice sit down lunch or dinner, this is not the place in Sherman, Texas to do so. If you would like some amazing local brewed beer, none of the offerings were very good to us and not because we had a very poor interpersonal experience, but because they were Metalic-tasting and simply not to our taste. If you would like a good grilled cheese sandwich at a good price point , please consider delivery or pick up unless you want to eat inside an elementary school cafeteria that sits in the middle of the Bar in "Road House" (the movie)! NOT recommended because it's in a very run-down, low rent area of Sherman, Texas (doesn't feel particularly safe) and please consider getting the bushes out of your gutters as a step in the right direction and a way to make you place a bit more desirable and welcoming. None of the best bars have bushes growing from their dirty gutters. Harley riders. Look elsewhere. This just isn't the vibe. read more

Out of town visitor for the first time to Sherman and to 903. That being said, I really enjoyed the experience, the food, the atmosphere and obviously the beverages! Pizza and wings were the order of the day for all in our party and all were delicious. The service was friendly, professional and included good recommendations and beverage sampling to narrow down our picks for the evening. A great experience and fun evening! read more

As many stated before no one checks on you. They bring your food out and that's the last you see of someone. Went here 11/21/21 (Sunday) it was not that great. Some things to me was way over priced for what they were like $7 for a cinnamon roll that was not fresh baked that was bought from a store or they came in frozen. $11 for a sandwich that was 3 bites worth $2.50 for 10 french fries (portion was that small you could count them that quick) $2.50 for one 12oz can of soda. Pizza that was ordered was burnt but between kitchen chef and person who brought it seem to think it was good enough to go out. Out door several chairs and tables had mold on them as if they were placed outside and forgotten. Trash was everywhere. It's a neat place and could be a great environment but with high prices for tiny portions/stuff that store bought/can soda. Lazy staff that does not check on customers. I prob won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

So on the way back from Oklahoma recently I called in an order because I thought 5 years of my friends harassment was enough. I had the fried green tomato sandwich. What!? Omg nom nom nom. Amazing beer, beer and people. They really think outside the box when it comes to beers and that always makes for a new adventure when you go in. The owners and staff are great. It does get busy in the weekends, so don't expect 5 Star service because there is always going to be others there as well. Bottom line, if you're looking for a place with good food, beer and people to share it with this is your place. If you are looking for a sit down restaurant with a waitress you are looking in the wrong place. They do 3 things very well and I hope they don't ever change. Went to 903 Brewers on Saturday 5/6/23 for the car show. Decided to have some lunch and ordered the chicken parm sandwich and some black truffle fries to share with my wife. Fries came out early. Definitely not black truffle. Plain old fries. About 20 in a paper basket for $9.00. Sandwich came out afterwards... disgusting sandwich. UNDERCOOKED....Breaded chicken breast with soggy bun. Some red marinara garbage sauce. The worst chicken sandwich I've ever tried to eat. Couple with us ordered same and couldn't eat it either. I spoke to bartender and his reaction was: and I quote. " yea those friars aren't that good". Will never go back. Awful beer too. $wasted $50 on that lunch$$ read more

Neat place! 903 has a very large, very cool-looking facility. Air conditioned...swoon! Their t-shirt game is *on point*. They have a permanent (??) grilled cheese pop-up inside serving food. Country music soundtrack. Not my jam, but not a big Texas surprise, either. (Actually... It is kinda surprising, now that i think about it, lol - I can't remember a brewery out of the MANY I've visited that was playing country music. Interesting! Way to stand out, 903!) There is a little bit of outdoor seating. Not that I'd really want to sit out there on a broiling July afternoon, but it's there. The old industrial complex that 903 is located in is really cool... It looks like the perfect place to play paintball or wargames. Maybe a giant Shaun of the Dead zombietown reinactment? :) Beers... Maybe I visited on an "off" day. North Texas has experienced an explosion (of sorts) of craft brew companies. We thought it might be fun to try to visit all of the local brewers over the next couple of years. First up: 903 Brewers in Sherman, Texas. Sherman's not quite local, but as DFW continues its growth march towards Oklahoma, it's starting to feel more and more that way. From Plano, it's an easy hour-ish drive which makes 903 Brewers a nice Saturday afternoon adventure. We doubted our Google map for a while on our way to the brewing facility as we passed through residential neighborhood after residential neighborhood. Finally, an old industrial park appeared and we knew we'd found the spot. 903 Brewers doesn't really offer a factory tour. You can look at the brewing tanks and you can see the packaging operation, but otherwise it's mostly about a hang-out joint. By the way, you can enter through the loading dock (like we did) or through a very unassuming door that you're sure isn't the right door but really is the way into the main hang-out space. Oh well. It didn't seem to matter how you got there, as long as you got there. The interior is very cool and is packed with plenty of places to hang out with your friends - tables, chairs, board games and televisions showing the latest sporting event. The bar sits in front of a large wall of taps. They'll let you sample (1 oz) and you can buy a half or full pint of anything you'd like. We quickly learned that 903 brews are really great mixed. While the base beer flavors are good, it's fun to play alchemist and mix and match to build your own special drink. They've suggested several starters and will also do mixes on the fly. All in all, 903 Brewers is a fun visit. Next time I'd go with a group of friends and plan to spend 2-3 hours hanging out, enjoying an afternoon away from the madness of the metroplex. By the way, we've been able to find 903 beers at local stores, including Kroger, in the Dallas area. They don't have all of the flavors but do stock the most popular. read more

My family and I have been sitting here waiting for our food for about 45 min... the table next to us, as well as multiple people that ordered wayyy after we did, have received their food... usually i wouldn't bother, places get busy, crap happens, but the table next to us are friends of some of the people working and they got their food in a timely manner... yet here we sit waiting. And it's not that they're busy, there's hardly anyone here. 903- my husband loves your beers and I love supporting local businesses and I hope we are just having a fluke visit since you have such great reviews on here but dang. 0/10 would not recommend 903 breweries as a place to go unless you have all day. Update: after 15 min our food finally started trickling out... but not too quickly, no, paced so we didn't have to eat together... my burger, with its freezer burnt bacon and 7 chips on the side (chips that were stale. REAL STALE) was the icing; but then we got sprinkles and candles on the cake in the form of two half warm sandwiches for my kids missing the condiments and stale chips for them too (wouldn't want them to be left out) and my husbands burnt pizza. We didn't even finish our food. It's official. 903 brewers needs to stick to beer. Won't waste anymore of my time or money here and unless you're a glutton for punishment I would suggest you don't either. read more

Jeremy cannot take critisism at all. I called to ask about exchange policies after feeling mislead by the labelling on the Oatmeal Stout can. I told him that I thought the beer sucked because I hate vanilla, but I never would have purchased the beer if it clearly advertised that it contained vanilla. I felt bamboozled! Jeremy took my comments extremely personally, responding with; "Well that beer has a 4/5 rating on beer advocate, I love that beer." and "You must not drink a lot of craft beers if you think my labelling is misleading!" Drove up from McKinney but wish we had stuck with our original plans to go to a different brewery. RUDE RUDE RUDE. Bartender was rude. Person that told us we couldn't bring In outside food or drink was worse. Every brewery experience we have had is at places that you can bring your own food in. Ok so this one isn't but you don't have to be such a jerk (nicest thing I can say about him) about it Mr "We are 51%". Nothing on the website or Facebook or signage saying no outside food. I guess we are just supposed to know that? No "thanks for coming but you can't bring your own food"...just the get the F out attitude with a snap of the kitchen tongs. The outside has picnic tables with umbrellas, the inside had more wooden tables with a comfortable temp 8/10. 3) Ordering: Order everything at the bar top get a number to place on your table for delivery. 8/10. 4) Beer selection: I love their creation, you won't love/like everything but even if you're not a big beer person, they have flavors that might keep you coming back 10/10. 5) Food:We had a pizza, which was good 7/10. 6) beer master/owner, very friendly. 7) food owner, very stuffy 5/10 We love this place and highly recommend it. My major disappointment, they have Soooo many beers that we wanted to buy 2 cases of mixed beers so we could bring back and share with McKinney friends. The Food owner said no and he wouldn't budge. If you find people like us who want to share your product, charge us a little more for the mixed six packs (we wanted at least one of each beer). This would spread your product name. I've lived here in Texoma for exactly one year and I had some friends drive 2 hours to meet us here. We were here for over 2 hours and I never got my food! We told/asked the staff at least 3 times that I was the only one that hadn't received my food. They continued to assure us that "it's on it's way out now". It never arrived. They told us that the front staff was new but the cooks were veterans and they were sorry I hadn't received my order...each time! We actually watched the server give my food to another patron that had just arrived. We were enjoying some of the unique brews that they have, but if you're planning to order food or expect even decent service find another place. Only after the 2nd hour and me cancelling my food order did the person in charge offer to "give me a 6 pack of beer" to make it right. I have never left a bad review, but I am frustrated that we spent lots of time and money at this venue for pathetic service. The experience that most rave about, I'm sorry that I didn't get to experience that with friends that came up to share that with. We waited 3 HOURS for our food.!!! we had asked so many times about when our food will be out and they said it was almost out then around the 3 hour mark we asked again and they said they lost our ticket ! they tried to just give us a refund and no give us the food and we had been drinking for 3 hours ?!? we needed our food! we have been drinking how are you going to just want to give us a refund? then they finally brought our food out but in togo containers? like if they were like ok here y'all can leave now? we didn't ask for it togo, the food looked like they just put our food together fast and that was it. a lot of people were mad! so many people had to wait more than 2 hours! Been trying to go to 903 for a long time. Finally had the opportunity, and were rewarded for our patience. They did not offer flights, but they have a selection of very drinkable beers, in a very homey venue. No pretention, just a good old fashioned beer hang out. Dog friendly. If there is any real drawback, they do not offer their flagship Chosen One as a draft beer, it has to come out of a can. Friendly staff. We're going to make a return trip. read more

This was my favorite place but I got a talking to by a waitress tonight (in public & front of my guest!) who does not approve of my tipping policy. She claims they are Only paid tips, Nothing from 903 - I don't even believe that is legal. What an Incredible Brewery! My wife and I have visited every brewery within 100 miles of DFW and 903 is OUTSTANDING! The owner(Jeremy) is wonderful to speak with when visiting the brewery. Typically we don't return to a brewery that we enjoy more than once every six months. Well...that changed quickly(due to the outstanding brews and food) even though 903 is 45 miles from our home. The Triple Berry Slushy, Trash Can Punch, Sex On the Beach Slushy. What is not to love about this place! And the food...worth the wait. Jeremy's father(forgot his name, dang) owns/runs the food side at the brewery. Pizza is well prepared and uses a multitude of quality ingredients. We've been to 903 Brewery four times in six weeks. Beer sampling's are great. Food is not. Their food looks spectacular in photo but is in fact not of any craft quality at all. And yes, I've had many food sampling's there. The only exception is the pizzas. Those are pretty decent. read more
