First time visit with my wife for breakfast. Protein pancakes were excellent. They were hot, moist,…read moreflavorful, and generous serving. My wife ordered the PH Protein wrap (chicken). The ingredients were all farm fresh. The wrap was full and plentiful. My wife could only eat half. The area we found for improvement would be to offer salsa on the side for the wraps. They do not heavily salt the food, which I think is a good thing. It allows the flavor of the fresh ingredients to shine. However, without salsa, you feel the wrap needs salt. As for the wait time, it was longer than we are accustomed to. This is not a fast food restaurant. This is a quality specialty restaurant. If you plan to visit, understand that your food is being made fresh with fresh, healthy, natural ingredients, not food that has been sitting under heat lamps. It will be worth the wait. Just be sure you plan for it. I will definitely be back. Gotta try the burgers.

My husband enjoyed the PH burger, definitely felt like we were getting our money's worth, which a meal is 18 bucks or so. Caution on add ons/exchanges! The cashier asked what rice I wanted and she told me the options, so I said Ill try the turmeric and didnt think to ask if there was extra cost, but it was a dollar extra.

PROTEINHOUSE - Staff. Not busy at the time we went. Why'd it take up to 15 minutes to deliver? Not a fan.

The wife and I decided to try this place, for we are getting more into Mediterranean cuisine. This…read moreplace offers middle eastern and North African food on their menu. We first ordered two limonadas (lavender & pomegranate). They were both so good!! Next, we got the Bourek as an appetizer. It is like a cheesy lumpia. It was pretty good too. For our lunch entree, we both order rice bowls. My wife got the chicken shawarma and I, the beef kebab. They were awesome. The seasoning on the meats were just right. Plus, the veggies were on point. Lastly, we shared the cheesecake. The lotus cookie butter was irresistible, and we enjoyed every minute and crumb of it!

What a beautiful little restaurant on this side of San Antonio! We found the food very well done…read moreand the setting was nicely decorated. Perfect for a date night or lunch. We tried the babganoush appetizer, which is an eggplant dip, served with pita. I wish the pita had more of a crisp or toastiness to them. It was very bready, but still went great with the dip. The eggplant doesn't look appetizing to most, but I love its flavor and it was seasoned nicely with some acidity/brightness to it. For our entrees, we had the falafel plate and a gyro wrap. My gyro wrap was a good serving size, and I opted for no fries/side salad since we had the appetizer. It was a traditional gyro, but I wish there were lettuce and tomato in it to cut the saltiness. I ate the leftover babaganoush with it for balance. The falafel plate was great! It came with 6 large falafels that were very crisp! Everything else in the bowl complimented it nicely. The menu has a lot of other options we'd love to try! We wish we ordered a tea or chai pot to go with our meal, or tried one of their specialty coffee. Next time! The service was great when we came, but it was in the middle of the day so we were the one ones there. Regardless we felt very welcome and looking forward to coming back!
