Dr. Leslie King was recommended for my needs and the story ends there sorta speak...as she is absolutely the best I have ever had, so the search ends. She has been absolutely great being gentle during visits, and is really good at answering every and any question I could have. Those that know me know that I don't hold back, curious by nature and always want to know. Knowledge is Power! Would have to say Dr. Leslie King is very knowledgeable and truly knows her medical craft in and out. I love the layout of the new location here in Valley Stream office vs. Rockville Centre office. She has a space that truly represents her spirit and expertise better. Know that when you come to visit her though, don't wear fragrance, as she personally has serious allergies. You won't want to be the one that makes her use her Epi Pen. Then I decided to give them a call and leave messages with the lab dept and still no one ever got back to me. Finally a week later I get in touch with someone from call center and they called the lab dept, turns out they didn't even have my specimen. So now a week later I had to go back. Yet again to wait for my results. The lady on the phone said it would be an in and out apt.. I was there for an hr.. the PA I saw was rude. And she said I have to wait another week for the results (meanwhile I was told it would be sent as STAT.) a few days go by and I'm calling again to the lab, no one gets back to me. A week later I get in touch with someone from the lab, Just to tell me that I need to make ANOTHER APT to get re swabbed becuz the 2nd one wasn't done right. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, was on hold for 40MINS ! Never again will I go to garden obgyn. Disgusting customer service!

I left several messages and finally got a call 2 weeks later. Now is the second time I am waiting for the doctor (or nurse) to call me back and haven't been able to do this for 4 days. 4 days to get a call back from a doctor or nurse? I've called every single day. The nurse called me back from a unlisted number, left a message and that was it. crickets. And when I call the front desk, although nice, they say "That's odd, we usually respond sooner than that." This is my second such experience, so I don't believe that. I also started coming to this office soon after it opened and do remember the staff problems before... Although they move slowly, I believe the interaction has gotten better by the staff. Waiting times have gotten longer. I spend a lot of time in the waiting room and in the patient room waiting to see the doctor. With the problems I describe unfortunately I haven't been able to find a better option in the area. But as soon as I do, i'm out. O, almost forgot, although they have a nice online portal, messaging doctors on site is futile. Crickets.

We chose Melissa to photograph our son's first Birthday shoot. Melissa is such a skilled…read morephotographer and the pictures show that! Communication and the booking process was super easy and organized on her website. She always responded in a timely manner. She addressed all my questions and concerns. The design team that she works with is amazing and brought my vision for the balloon backdrop to life. She works with her partner/husband Ed who was also super nice and helpful; he came down to help us with our belongings when we got to the studio. The studio was so clean and airy looking; it was the perfect spot for photos with natural lighting. Melissa really showed her expertise and comfort level in taking wonder shots of our son and of us. She was able to direct us on how and where to pose and also adjust things like fixing my hair or adjusting my legs/heels so that they would not look awkward (not all photographers will do this, this comes with experience). We never felt rushed and Melissa was patient with our son. We had some suggestions after we got the edited pictures back and Melissa never made us feel bad about doing the editing over again until we were satisfied. This wonderful experience made us super happy with choosing her as our son's First Birthday Photographer and hopefully other special occasions in the future. If you guys are looking for a true professional to capture your memories then I highly recommend Melissa!!

Let alone the anxiety you feel from them that you have to hurry up with the photoshoot. Her husband works with her an suffers from extreme OCD so half of your photoshoot session will be cut in half due him cleaning. As far as the turnaround to getting your proofs is also awful and takes such a long time to receive them. This should not be the case if your paying over $400 dollars for less than 25 mins a session. My advice coming from a business background is that you will slowly lose more customers that way because it's not an enjoyable experience when you feel a pressure from the photographer to hurry up when it's suppose to be the opposite a pleasant experience. This is my second time booking with Melissa and I won't book again because of the awful experience. Don't waste your money there is other photographers out there with the same set up, more time and the ability to choose more pictures without feeling robbed.

She took our newborn photos for our second child, and we wanted to make sure we captured this stage of life while also getting some new family photos for our home. She completely understood the assignment. We are obsessed with the photos she took! She was also wonderful with our 19mo old toddler and newborn at the same time, helping get their attention but also practicing intense patience. Highly, highly recommend her! We already can't wait to use her again :).
