My foot was hardly in the door and one of the two sales gals said: "we are closing in 5 minutes." There is nothing welcoming about that introduction to this outrageously expensive fashion boutique. I poked around for two minutes and left. On my way, out she said: "stop back another day." If I were the owner, I would have liked the salesperson to handle it with more warmth and grace. "Welcome to our store. I am so sorry but we are closing in 5 minutes. Are you looking for something specific? I can give you a little direction." Sadly, I had stopped in this store one other time 5-6 years ago. I had the same "stay out" experience. Amazing. Since other shops in the same shopping center are warm and welcoming.

Literally when I left and said, I hope you have a nice day, the saleswoman said "I hope you don't!" We were alone in the shop. Who talks like this? Anyway, whatever is in her heart, that's on her.
