First of all Miqael is so nice. He listened to me, and cut my dog's hair exactly how I wanted. He took great care of her, and she was so happy when she left. She smelled great, and he cleaned her ears, trimmed her nails, and did her anal glands. So I just took my dog to Van Nuys Veterinary Clinic, and I ran into him. He works here too. I was able to observe them at work so I can speak with confidence about how they expertly, and with kit gloves, handled and calmed my very frightened adult, furbaby. Our Teddy is an 8-year-old, 82-pound Alaskan Shepard who recently lost his sight to diabetes. From an early age, we could not take our precious Teddy to a commercial groomer--he would do the "death roll". You can imagine my trepidation leading up to his appointment and my mounting, pleasant, surprise during the grooming. Teddy came through the experience smelling amazing and shining all over. It's been over a week and he's still not shedding!! Then, at no charge, upon hearing what my other dog when through at the hands of another groomer, Miquael offered to clean the ears of our second, larger Golden Retriever, Sampson, who'd developed an irritation after a session with another grooming company. Great for cats!! Miquael is extremely kind, helpful, and excited about his business. He takes pride in grooming and treats the animals with respect. We brought our big Maine Coon kitty in who was looking a little busted and had a lot of matts. He's so big and he has a hard time keeping himself up sadly so we take him in once a year. Our regular grooming place said they don't take cats anymore and I called around and no one was willing to do cats in the valley. I called Miquael and he put me on the schedule for the next day. He was really nice and my kitty smelled so good and looked great. Not to mention his pricing is extremely fair to the customers, although I wish his card payment had an option to tip. WARNINGS: Don't bring here if you want your dog got infection! 0 star not 1 star He works at Van Nuys Pet Clinics so I knew him! He did the job which is cheaper than in the clinic, and he works Sunday, but if you want your dog die or suffer bad injury, just come to him. I brought my dog to VET, my dog got many burns (VET guess it is laser burn) and got infection from the groomer! I asked him Did you burn my dog yesterday? He said Yes but then he said this is not his fault! What what what! My dog can't pee because of infection after grooming and Swelling! I have to pay $176 for VET and still follow up if he can't pee later. Haizzz! If you want cheap price, you can go to his home! His place looks not clean (I don't want to say Dirty) and that's why my dog got too much infection! He blamed my dog got infection before but I never saw my dog skin get red or something! I come to him not because of his price(I tipped him more than regular groomer)! It's because I saw he got 5 stars! But what I received is sadness and my dog was hurt a lot! My advice is to bring your dog to Clinic or trustworthy grooming! Please don't bring your dog here for him to shaved! I told him just want him to sorry or take responsibility! I even didn't ask him to pay for my dog medical bill! But this guy is irresponsible! Last, but not least! If my dog still cannot pee and have any problems! I'm sure I will sue you! He was super friendly and his communication and follow up was great as he fit me in his schedule. My cat is a long haired Persian and unfortunately let it get into terrible shape. It was full of knots and I knew it was going to have to be shaved. My cat never had been groomed before so I was a little nervous. Miquael arrived and right away my cat swiped at him, but it did not phase Miquael! And he was gentle and kind, and let me know he would take his time to ensure my cat was ok. He called me right after and told me his website isn't up to date and he was busy. But said he would come to me around 12ish. This man came in between appointments to clip only 1 of my dogs nails and it took him a minute and I asked if he can do my other dog and he said 'let's do it!'! How nice of him!! I asked the charge, since his website said $9-12 and he said usually its $15, but my website isn't updated, so he honored the charge on his website! But I found him last minute, he came through in between appointments, he came to my home, and I couldn't be more happier! This man has his own groomer mobile!!! The fact that he was able to make time even if it was just to clip my dogs nails, he came through, was able to trim the nails of BOTH dogs, last minute! The best part is he comes to you! I'd never used a mobile groomer service but when my sister got a new car lease I knew we'd need someone to come to us as my baby gets a little too rowdy on car rides. I found Miquael here on Yelp and I was curious because he's local. I'm so glad I reached out to him! My pup is very brush/grooming averse. It was a problem/note I'd always get from my last groomer. Miquael is able to work with him and always manages to give him a nice, close, and EVEN, shave. I'm always astounded by how neat it is knowing how wild my dog can be. And there are never any nicks!!! Miquael is also very attentive, and sometimes texts during the groom if he notices any issues (matting, skin sensitivity etc.) It's nice to know he is attentive with my dog and I appreciate how he keeps me in the loop without prompting. And when he's done my baby always smells soooo good! And he always comes back with a fancy new bow tie. Also, Miquael's prices are very reasonable!
