I want to preface by saying that my dog Spike is 10/10 the baddest pup when it comes to bath day. He's super anxious and will bite and growl the WHOLE time. This was my first time booking with Miquael and it is definitely not the last! When he arrived Spike was having his usual stranger danger fit but I was able to hand him off. Throughout the grooming session Miquael sent pictures and videos which put me at ease. And when he brought Spike out after his session he was unrecognizable!! (see his before and after pictures lol) Miquael was so compassionate, communicative, and professional throughout the whole process even before the grooming session. I cannot recommend booking with 88 Pet Spa enough ESPECIALLY if you have an anxious pup. read more

We were very pleased with the service. Our dog was dubious about going with the staff member but he was kind and took little videos to send to me so I could see his progression. Our dog came back smelling good and looking good. Trimmed nails and less itchy as they noticed his ear infection and gave him a treatment. Worth every penny! read more

I have took my aggressive little Maltese to different grooming places and no one could handle them then I found 88 pet spa and Mike was excellent !! He really cares for them . He's very compassionate and takes his time . The prices are also very reasonable . They will get your puppy looking right in no time and best part is they can come to you. Mike was fast and kept me updated throughout the grooming . I was very impressed . I will be taking all my 3 puppies to Mike from now on! I've been searching for a reasonable and reliable cat groomer for a while--it's surprisingly hard to find someone who doesn't charge an arm and a leg! I'm so glad I found 88 Pet Spa. The scheduling process was super easy and done entirely through text. They were flexible with availability, and a $50 deposit secured the appointment. Michael was my cat's groomer and he did a fantastic job--my cat looked great and special so good! He even added a cute little bandana. The whole process took about an hour. So happy I found Miquael the Groomer on Yelp. I made the appointment via his website. His assistant Scarleth was in constant communication with me about times and even rescheduling requests that was needed on both of our parts. Finally was able to get my dog groomed by one of his associates Taleah. She was lovely to work with and my dog really liked her. She was gentle with him and was done within the hour. My 14 year old Daisy has only been to 1 groomer her entire life, but she moved away and at her age I wanted a mobile groomer. I read a lot of reviews for mobile groomers and decided to give 88 Pet Spa a chance. Boy am I glad I did. Firstly, her haircut was amazing. Mike did everything I asked of him, and more. I didn't want the process to take 2 hours as most of the groomers advised and Mike had her done within an hour. And that was with a special bath, nails, anal glands and full summer cut. She looked great, but more importantly she was not stressed and I can tell she was happy with how she looked. And mom was too. Thank you Mike for putting all my fears to rest. read more

I brought my 3-month-old French Bulldog puppy in for a basic wash and nail trim. During the nail trim, her nail was cut into the quick, causing immediate bleeding and she began limping in pain. After bringing her home, the nail continued bleeding and left blood spots on her bed. We were also never informed that this had happened before she was released to us. I understand accidents can happen, but what matters is how they are handled. I called to inform them and explained they should have at least told us what occurred, but no concern or solution was offered. When I asked for a refund for the service, it was refused. At that point it wasn't about the money -- it was about accountability and care for a young puppy injured during a routine service. Pet owners with very young or small dogs should use caution and check their pets before leaving.

For $400, I got a total of 10 visits for the year! Granted, she is on the mini side of things, but if you look at prices literally anywhere else... this kind of deal is unheard of. To top this all off, my Pebbles is an anxious chatty type and a drama queen all in one, which has been a frequent complaint we have received from other groomers since she was a puppy. Here, she's heard and appreciated as a funny little girl with a big heart and personality. I also included some pics of my girl for reference on the price that I paid. AND for all dog parents reading this, keep in mind the price also varies by the weight of your furry friends.

Little touches that made the pricey de-shedding and grooming fees worth it ($125 for a grooming of large dog, 85lbs). I wanted to simply address this to a manager via email to show photos, but their contact form on the site is impersonal and gives no email address and no opportunity to upload photos. On his last visit on Friday, my dog came home panting and not wagging his tail. I just thought he missed me, but it felt out of place, more like a "hyperventilation" type panting. I didn't think anything of it until the next day, as I was petting him, I felt bloody scabs across his head. Till today I find more that's hidden in his long fur. I'm super sad because Andy's has done a great job with his de-shedding, and I know it's no easy task with his fur. But, he is the mildest-mannered service animal for kids with autism. He doesn't bite or bark or squirm, so to have big gashes like this on multiple parts of his skin after a grooming is a red flag. I won't be sending him to Andy's anymore. Very sad about it, but this isn't how you treat a dog or long-time customer. You disclose the cuts and address how to help treat them.

BEWARE!!!! My dog suffered from an infection because the owner did not inform me about my dog's nail falling off during his grooming session. My dog came back shaking and hiding and I couldn't understand what was wrong. It wasn't until a few days later when we did get another thorough inspection on him that my husba noticed that he was missing a nail. When I contacted the groomer he told me that my dog's nail was already chipped when he got to him and that it fell off during the mobile grooming session because he was jumping around and running away from him. He said my dog bled so much and that he had to put powder on it to stop the bleeding. I asked him why he didn't think to tell me that my dog was bleeding and to simply let me know to keep an eye on his nail to prevent infection. Well too late because it did get infected and my dog suffered unnecessary pain for days. What baffles me the most is that when he texted me to let me know that my dog was ready to get picked up he took a long time to get out of the car I kept seeing that van shake and my mom made a comment about how it seemed as if he was chasing my dog. Would this not have been the perfect opportunity to tell me what happened? The owner of the groomig service did take full responsibility and paid for the vet bill but this is only after I confronted him and left my initial bad review. Of course I would expect him to pay as my dogs nail would have never gotten infected had he told me what happened. Now, I am being bombarded with text message asking me to take THIS review down and even got told that "us raza shouldn't treat each other like this". How laughable! My dog continues to shake every single time I take him outside. When he sees a van he will run as he thinks it's the mobile groomer! I adopted my dog from the shelter and was anxious because his owners were abusive and it took so long for him to get used to us and to takign walks. Now it's like we are starting from zero again. It sucks because I have only used this groomer twice. The first time, my dog's seemed to have really enjoyed it and my dog had come back so happy. But this second experience was just a nightmare. I have a very timid, scared senior dog, and I often feel nervous about how stressed he gets. Despite my worries, the staff reassured me they would handle him with care and they were incredibly gentle with him. If there's zero star I will give him zero... don't take your dog to this scammer guy.. he left my little puppy on half grooming and he ask for double price after he start and cut the hair, I took my puppy back not only because he ask for more money also because his truck and tools was so dirty..
