Alex and Wyatt showed up totally prepared at the beginning of the window of time I had been quoted. Alex had my garbage disposal unclogged within minutes of his arrival, and educated me about how it works with the dishwasher. He even tied the pipe correctly so that there is no backflow into my dishwasher, something that has probably been happening for the last 7 years. They offered to put everything back under the sink, but I said that was not necessary. I didn't think to remove everything before they came, but I think it would really save them some time if you did that. Alex and Wyatt also checked the drain lines to make sure they were clear. I felt they were thorough and FAST! When I called, I was told it would be $75 for the service call if they did not need to replace the disposal. Sure enough, I paid $75. This is also the price that is on their website, so I really appreciate this consistency. After not being able to use that side of my sink for a week, due to my own stupid mistake, it was totally worth $75 to have Alex unclog it for me. These guys are fantastic. Brandon and Corey saved us thousands of dollars. Our toilet backed up into our shower this morning. We first called Mr Rooter and they sent a guy out who did camera work and told us that we needed to do a process called "descaling" to remove mineral build-up on the cast iron pipe. And we needed to tear up the concrete back patio to install a clean out. They wouldn't snake the pipe because they claimed the snake wouldn't fit with all the build up. They quoted us $8000 for this job and told us it was urgent. I called 88 Drain for a 2nd opinion. They came within an hour of my call and snaked the pipe, and did a big camera scope (they even figured out that our house sewer hooked up to a new sewer we had installed 7 years ago from our casita) and said that we should be good for a while and they don't recommend a clean out until we end up in a situation where we might be backing up multiple times a year. My sewer drain clogged up this holiday weekend (of course). Roots had grown into the pipe from my house to the city line out under the street. After my usual go-to plumbers begged off the job on account of being swamped (with work, and well, the usual plumbing by-products I'm sure), I tried calling a few that got good reviews. After about the third snooty "we don't get up on roofs to clear pipes" (the case at my house), I spied the stellar online reviews for 88 Drain and figured I'd give them a shot. The guys who came out, Jobe and Dylan, already had a full schedule booked today, but they still managed to make it here late in the day. I found them to be professional, courteous, friendly -- and most importantly, super competent at getting the drains flowing again here at my house. And the cost was quite reasonable ($180), considering they had to be up on my roof, at the end of the day, when it was already dark outside. I think if I have this problem again in the future, I will call 88 Drain first! I'd recommend them 100%. read more

I was having an issue of standing water at my rental house. It is an older house (build 1960 - Tierra Del Sol neighborhood) and I could not figure out if it was the air conditioner condensation pipe or a broken pipe under the water heater room. I called first thing and they suggested that I use a shop vac to vacuum out any type of clog in the condensation pipe that drips to the outside of the house. So, I did that and it seemed to fix it! I did have them come out anyway to double check my workmanship and to see if there was any pipes leaking anywhere that I may have missed. We had a sluggish drain in our kitchen sink and after trying a DIY project to clear it, managed to have water running all over the kitchen floor. We used our Choice Home Warranty and were referred to Quality Drain Service (aka 88Drain) who promptly responded to set the appointment for repair. Stephen Jobe called to let us know he was on the way and arrived promptly during the scheduled time. He found a hole in our 12-year-old garbage disposal was the problem, replaced the unit, and tidied up after himself. During his visit, we had a lovely chat and we found this young man to be both extremely professional, very efficient, and totally delightful as well. we had multiple plumbing companies that had come out to our home due to a toilet that would not flush and it backed up our master bath shower . we finally called this company after so many unsuccessful others and had Zachary come out to help us . it only took him 20 mins to find that a previous company had left a part of there equipment in the water (toilet) line that had been flushed and blocked everything causing it to back everything up for all of this time. The technician (Zachary) removed it and everything is working fine. This is amazing because other companies were telling us this could be something we might have to dig up under the home due to tree Roots in the sewer system and could cost tons of money. The professional, sharp dressing young man who's done our drains is amazing, but what really impressed me was the call I got from you after Brandon and Brandon had been here and received payment. We had them checking for odors. They did a great job checking the usual suspects, got paid (yes! only $88) and left. Later the Brandons thought about it and came up with the possibility of water in the unused swamp (evaporative) cooler. They told the office, who called me. Our drain in the kitchen started gurgling and draining slower and slower and finally this morning just stopped draining. This past week I had had a company over that brought in the "supervisor" to inspect and basically sell me a new system. They came out to our house on May 28th over on Brooks and as usual were in and out and did a good job in a blink of an eye. Called 88-Drain, they came out either the same day or the next day, the problem was bigger than expected, they were out to my home 5 or 6 xs, Hugh quoted me a price, they worked on the holiday, the employees were very professional and approachable, Hugh stayed in contact with me throughout, paid out of his pocket for the cameras, didn't ask me for a dime until the job was completed. I needed to have all of the inter-workings of my toilet replaced. The flush handle broke, the flapper was wore out, flot was leaking. This happened on Saturday early afternoon. Called 88 Drain after another company couldn't unclog our pipes under our house. I called at about 8am they got to my house at 9, they even called me when they were 15 min away. Mylan was quick to locate the problem. He fixed it before 10am. Even kept the water running while putting away equipment to make sure everything was clear. I have called 88 Drain several times. Every time I have called them, they are prompt and very friendly. I would totally recommend them for any services. They are very professional, friendly and very affordable. My water heater went out. I knew I would not be able to replace it by myself. We had a kitchen sink clog up that no amount of plunging would fix. So after recommendations from some neighbors, we called 88 Drain. They were able to come out that day, arrived on time and got the drain cleared in record time. The plumbers were knowledgeable, polite and friendly and made sure all was cleaned up when they left. We had another service come twice through our AHS account and we were recommended to adding hydro jetting to finally get it fixed. July and again in August and then we just were living with it. Called 88 Drain because of a recommendation. They showed up and for about half of our mandatory payment to AHS they got to work, figured out the problem and fix it.
