    Update I had a company come out and sweep the chimney and…read moreless than a baseball size amount of creosote was removed. No chemical cleaning needed. Deans was unable to tell the difference between a repair and buildup. I've also contacted Travis Industries the maker of the stove. To let them know about the experience I had with Dean's stove and spa. No customer should have to go through predatory selling tactics that deans uses. People are Travis Industries picked up the phone and at least took the time to listen. They asked for an e-mail and pictures and all of those have been sent off. Time will tell to see if anything happens. Lopi I did get back to me. So that's good. I've been not been waiting for over a week for my refund. I guess it's up to you whether or not you do business with them if you do good luck.

We couldnt seem to control the burn rate in the stove and were going through wood very fast. Turns out they never attached the chimney pipe to the back of the stove. When we called them on it they just claimed it wasn't their fault. The stove ended up cracking due to being overfired because we couldnt control the air intake. They offered zero assistance and we are out thousands of dollars. Were honestly probably very fortunate our house didn't burn down. Stay away from this place.

    I bought brand new $6000 Frigidaire model PCFD3670AF range from CAFD that didn't work from the…read morebeginning. The oven does not reach the temperature it is set at and can vary by over 100° at times! There is no option to calibrate it. They sent a tech to replace a part and it didn't fix it. I was told, sorry, there are no other repairs possible. They've been giving me a runaround for months and I haven't been able to use the oven at all. It's brand new and under warranty but they won't replace it or take it back. Unbelievable. Stay away from CAFD and Frigidaire. Terrible customer service and the warranty is worthless.

Our fireplaces…read morewere supposed to be fully installed and usable back in July--as of yet our upstairs electric fireplace is still completely open and unusable. We've called numerous times, been put on long holds, hung up on and two crews came out bringing the wrong items. We have been calling your office every week, with no response and no timeline when our fireplace will be finished in our bedroom. This has been a reoccurring story with each fireplace (we purchased a gas fireplace and two electric fireplaces)--we pretty much had to come IN PERSON to get our main floor fireplaces installed with the proper materials. This is unacceptable. Since calling your customer service team and being disconnected last week, our cats have crawled into the open fireplace in our bedroom, and the pebbles have spilled all over our floor. I am submitting a better business bureau complaint, and complaining on yelp and other social media channels. I can't believe this is how you conduct business with your customers.
