Then after arriving for one of our planned layout meetings, we could not see the slab because it was unavailable. After finally having the layout meeting, one part of the backsplash was installed upside down and another part was cut from a different section without notifying us. After so many issues, I shared with them my concerns and they admitted fault and reduced the bill some. I have never written a review before for a product or company (good or bad), but I do not want anyone to suffer this type of customer service that I encountered at MC Granite.

The wheels fell off and everything went bad during the installation. Issues were with defective backsplash, not being cut straight, scratch /gouge in the countertop and polish finish on the bathroom countertop. I was directed and talked to Carlos at the Jasper facility who I was told was the shop manager. Carlos should not be interfacing with customers. He had no intention of resolving the problems and was inclined to perform a Rube Goldberg fix in the field. At one point Carlos told me that the customer is not always right. Our conversation ended shortly after that.

The product came as promised. The sales person does not over sell or over promise. He was able to give us the information for us to select the correct type of product (granite vs quartz vs marble) for the location. Plus the company has a nice selection of different types of product to select from. We will be back to replace the last old countertop.

We had no idea that our sink would need to sit/cure for a bit prior to having it reconnected - that would have been good info to know prior to hiring a plumber to reconnect the plumbing. Also, the original sink was broken when installers first came out. We were not upset about that, but when we asked about any compensation for the inconvenience of being without a sink for 2 days, we received an unprofessional response. So, overall we are pleased with the value but the service end from Blue Sky could use some improvement.

I was very impressed with the time he took to ensure everything was done right the first time. Highest quality workmanship I've seen in a very long time. Kudos to Cheyenne and his helper. The sales guy, Rob, knew his stuff, including my HOA's fence rules. Rob was the only fence company rep who came prepared with that knowledge. Looking at the quality of the fence, it's amazing they were about half the cost of the other companies who provided quotes. In the end, the final price was less than expected because they used fewer materials than estimated. Great business practice and kudos to the owner, Randy. I apologize for any incorrect names or spellings but my comments are 100% honest and sincere.

I was really keen on purchasing my kitchen cabinets from Barwood. I'm currently in the middle of…read moreconstruction and started shopping for cabinets several months in advance. Nikki was an outstanding resource; she helped me design the cabinet layout and even sent swatches so I could see the actual colors (since I'm building from out-of-state). When we first spoke, I was given a quote. However, when it came time to place my order several months later, the delivery and installation costs had surged to over 50% of the cabinet price. I don't think Nikki had any control over this, as it seemed they contract with a third party for delivery and installation. My kitchen is small, and my order included only 6 pre-assembled base cabinets, with no upper cabinets--making it a very straightforward install. I knew the installers were overcharging me. Frustrated, I reached out to other cabinet dealers for quotes on the same brand, and the prices I received were significantly lower, aligning more closely with Nikki's initial quote. I felt bad about not purchasing my cabinets from Nikki. She certainly deserved the sale, but the quoted delivery and installation price was too high for the scope of work.

That's when the real research began! After consulting with a number of retailers in the Atlanta area who sell Wellborn, I came across Barrwood Cabinets. After speaking and emailing with Heath for several days, I took the drive up to Jasper. Heath went over all of my options for cabinet type, stain and features. Over the next few weeks, Heath and I spent hours finalizing my plan and the order was placed at the end of March. Heath even traveled to my home to take measurements to ensure the correct cabinet sizes were ordered. Heath told me to expect a 5-6 week delivery time. Just shy of 4 weeks later, Heath called to tell me my cabinets were in. A couple of weeks after that, the installers came. Marius and Tim were nothing short of amazing. There were pieces that needed some adjustment and they were ready, willing and able to make any changes needed. Even after install, Heath was available for questions and assistance when I needed the installers to come back for installing my oven [another huge thank you!!]. I would absolutely recommend Barrwood Cabinets for any of your cabinet needs. They go above and beyond and exceed expectations!!
