He was one of the most pleasant, kind and honest contractor I ever met. My condo is a rental and the tenant, particular about people in his home, loved the experience as well. we were both so happy with him the the work he did. He removed an area of drywall and replaced it with a new sheet, patched and painted the room. Just beautiful. I would highly recommend him. I also though his pricing was very fair and spot on. I wish him the most success!

I hired William Bullock of Uncle Buck's Painting & Restorations to do a paint job for me as a…read moresubcontractor. He asked me for a 50% down payment, which I paid him via Zelle. Unfortunately, this was a bad decision as he basically ran off with my money, and did not do the job. What happened was that my customer had a deadline for the job to be done, and William didn't order the paint in time, so the customer canceled the job. He said he was waiting for my down payment before ordering the paint, so I don't fully blame him for the paint not arriving in time. The main reason I'm dissatisfied is that he did not refund my down payment after the job was canceled. We're talking about over $2,000 here! He basically returned the paint he ordered and kept the money. I tried asking him nicely on multiple occasions to give me the down payment back, and he refused at first. After asking him multiple times, he agreed to give me the money back in installments. This was not ideal for me, but I agreed to accept the payment in installments because he said money was tight for him. The only problem is that it has been months now, and he has only given me one installment of $400 back. I keep asking him to make another payment per our agreed upon schedule, but at this point he is so late on his payments that I have basically given up hope of ever getting my money back. I also tried contacting Zelle to get me my money back, but they said that they can't help me as Zelle is more or less like cash. At the end of the day, what he did was basically theft and totally unacceptable. I highly recommend thinking twice before giving him a down payment. If you do decide to, at least don't do it via Zelle.

I spoke with several companies before choosing Hunter's team, and I'm so glad I did. From the start, Hunter was professional, punctual, and took the time to clearly explain all my options. He was patient and honest as we discussed what would work best for my yard. The price was very fair, and Hunter stayed involved and onsite throughout the entire project. The job was completed on time and exactly as promised -- I couldn't be happier with the results! I'll definitely use their services again. If you're looking for someone professional, reliable, and great to work with, call Hunter -- highly recommend!

The patio was beautiful until the grout bubbled and crumbled a few weeks later. Hunter, the owner of Venator, was responsive abd twice attempted to replace the grout. However, the grout should not have been replaced in freezing temperatures. Again it has crumbled. I have reached out to Hunter over a month ago several times with texts and photos, also filed with the BBB. He has not responded. I have paid nearly $15,000 in full. He answered all of our questions and explained everything very thoroughly. We also needed to have our siding replaced and Wesley said he was happy to work with any siding contractor we chose. He offered to demo the deck and install new flashing and ledger boards before the siding was replaced, then come back and install the new deck after the siding was done. Wesley said they would get a permit and inspection. While the other deck contractors either took several days to send a quote or ghosted us, Wesley sent a very detailed and competitive quote with better/best options hours after meeting with us, and we hired him. We met Kym at the showroom in Kennesaw to look at all of the decking and railing options and were very impressed with everything. We decided to go with the Trex Transcend Lineage Jasper and Trex Signature Black aluminum railing. Kenneth came out to take measurements and followed up with awesome renderings showing the deck from five different angles. Eddie, Thomas, and Carlos demoed the old deck and installed new flashing and ledger boards in one day. After the siding contractor replaced the siding, Eddie returned with Israel and Antonio to build the new deck. They finished the deck in seven days and it looks amazing, a night and day difference from the old deck. Our favorite details include the post brackets that secure the posts to the concrete while keeping them off the ground and away from water, the switchback stairs, each decking board is one continuous piece (no butt joints), color matched screws, and the cocktail rail. The inspector said "they did a nice job for you." We were very impressed with the entire Brawner team, love our new deck, and give them our highest recommendation.
