Well, last month my battery needed replacing. In the driveway, the car would not start. I called AAA, they could not come immediately. When they finally arrived: although I told them, I needed a new battery, the service man thought I just needed a battery jump! Then, he said, he had to go away to get one, for my car.
Over 2 hours later, he showed back up, with the new battery. So, I was very nice: he told me multiple times, about being shot 6 times in Vietnam, once in the head!!! Bullcrap, he was 46: I am 66, female and do not like scammers!!!
The dealership charges $250 for a battery, plus $150 labor to install. AAA charges $225 for the battery, because I pay AAA annual fees. Overall, it got done.
My neighbor came to chat, which saved me, from the service drivers BS. However, please be very careful. So many creeps out there, nowadays!!!
