Thank you! Communication was easy, though sometimes took a couple hours to respond. Move day went fairly smoothly, and we were happy with the care taken to blanket and wrap items. The only disheartening thing was they really hesitated about moving our TV stand because it has glass shelves and is fragile. They didn't say "no" but just kept saying it's fragile and what do we want to do about it, and we were so stressed from the move we just said to not worry about it and we'd figure it out... So we ended up having to donate our TV stand because we had no way to move it. We'd still use them again and recommend them. Maybe just with fragile items have a game plan beforehand.

Michelle worked closely with me to create a moving schedule that fit my needs, including packing my entire home and coordinating delivery to my new home. She was incredibly thorough when preparing the estimate, carefully calculating the packing supplies, number of movers, and overall logistics. She even had Bill come out to assess my new home and determined that because of my narrow mountain driveway, they would need to use two smaller trucks instead of one large truck. That level of planning made all the difference. The moving crews arrived on time and immediately got to work. They were organized, professional, and asked thoughtful questions whenever needed to ensure everything went smoothly. In addition to moving my household, they disassembled seven industrial storage racks in my garage and reassembled some in my new garage and others in the space above the garage. Every container was clearly labeled so the correct items went upstairs or into the garage, making unpacking much easier. I especially appreciated how accommodating the movers were with furniture placement. They were patient and willing to adjust pieces until everything was lined up exactly where I wanted it. Their attention to detail was outstanding. Both crews--the packing team and the delivery team--were professional, respectful, hardworking, and genuinely friendly. Moving can be incredibly stressful, but they made the entire process far more enjoyable than I ever expected. Michelle stayed in touch throughout the entire process--from our initial planning conversation to confirming every detail before the move and following up afterward to ensure everything went well. Her communication and customer service were outstanding. The entire experience was seamless, and I highly recommend Lambert & Son to anyone looking for a moving company that truly goes above and beyond.

The team worked efficiently and packed the truck expertly--everything was secure, and nothing was broken or damaged, which really speaks to their care and experience. Toward the end of the move things did slow down a bit, but we were also coming up on nearly seven straight hours of work, so that was completely understandable. By the end, most of the large furniture items were placed inside the house as requested, and the majority of the boxes were left neatly in the garage, which will make unpacking fairly manageable. Overall, great service, strong work ethic, and a crew that clearly knows what they're doing. I would absolutely recommend Peninsula Pack and Move, especially for more complex moves.

I would NOT recommend this company! I was quoted $175 hourly for a 28' truck and 3 guys and a…read moreminimum of two hours. An additional $50 was disclosed after they showed up. The workers were not efficient with packing the truck, layering things, one layer deep and then taking an unpacked load. This happened not once but twice, stretching out the hourly rate they were making. They did not hook up my washer and dryer as I was told they would and they damaged two pieces of furniture without disclosing they had. We ended up having to rent a U-Haul truck for two more days to finish what they weren't able to finish and this was after we had already packed a PODS container to the max in our driveway. So the stuff they were responsible for moving was mainly furniture. This is not the first time I have moved a moving company in Monterey County and so I had an idea of approximate cost and time. This company milked the clock, costing me more than twice what the move cost the previous time. At one point while moving some furniture at my old place, one of the movers voiced that he had stolen a piece of candy from me. I didn't think it was any big deal and laughed it off, but it made me wonder why he would do that and if he had done it before. When I attempted to contact the owner, David, I left a message, letting him know that I had issues and wanted to talk to him and rather than calling me back, he text me to tell me that he was really busy and that he was able to text. I would assume that being a local company wanting to make a great name, he would've contacted me back to figure out what happened and how he could make things better. The lack of upfront communication carelessness, and the fact that they took advantage of the situation is unacceptable. I expected better. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The service provided on June 27, was not $2500 worth. Do NOT book this company.

They came over to look at our apartment and give us an exact estimate a few months ahead of time. The estimate was a one-line email with just one number and no breakdown of cost or details of any kind, which made me uneasy, but that number really did cover everything, including tax. Many people helped move us (7+ in total, I think) and the people that loaded were different from those who unloaded, so we should have tipped every person individually in cash instead of waiting until the end. Also to note: keep your checkbook or wads of cash handy, because there is a 3% fee to use credit card. That really adds up on a big move! I was not able to get all of my questions completely answered via email (some details were missing), but I was able to phone and get clarification on things easily. x25 large moving boxes were provided for free - I had to ask for them a few times, but we got them fine in the end, delivered right to our doorstep. Central Coast Movers also provides wardrobe boxes for all your hanging clothes, and they load all the clothing from your closets for you, which is so convenient. Our loading day was delayed 1 day due to extremely bad weather, but everything turned out well in the end. They kept me updated on arrival times and stayed in communication during the move.
