I'm not going to be picky about the service or where I was seated. I loved this place. I went here with a friend last night and was pleasantly surprised. She had ordered take out a few times and told me it was very good so I had high hopes. We ordered the wide rice noodles with chicken and the Dragon Roll. Both were delicious and I was not disappointed. My friend asked for a straw and it was brought in a napkin. Our waiter gave us some suggestions when we were deciding on what to order. I thought the prices were great! We split 2 dishes and paid about $15 each including tip. Of course, it depends on what you order, but I was very happy with the amount of food we got for how much it cost. I'll be back so I can try more things on the large menu! read more

Great food, sushi is fantastic and I go to a lot of sushi places. I carry out here a lot, only been in to eat a couple times. But great experiences either way. Can get a little pricey but not bad for the quality of food you are getting. read more

Good sushi and strong drinks. Their Mai tai is delicious, but I can never order more than one because I'd be under the table. I like their poke, Roselle, and volcano rolls, but sometimes they are a little too spicy. Another nice addition to downtown Roselle and pretty much guaranteed to please if you stick to the sushi menu. read more

Have a mix of Japanese, Chinese and Thai and the staff are friendly and efficient. Sushi is good and reasonably priced as are most of the other dishes. Never a long wait, but good idea to have a reservation on Saturday nights after 6:00. Nice atmosphere too. Probaly been there over 10 times. read more

Just picked up my food order which they said would be ready in 40 mins, all the food was ice cold, and kept finding hard chunks of something that I could not bite thru. Tried to order an extra white rice and they said it would be an extra 20 minutes. I've never heard of that before 20 minute wait for white rice. Was actually very disappointed in this place. I can't say enough about this restaurant. It is great for any occasion whether you are going there with your family, to meet some friends or on a date. The food is absolutely fantastic. This is definitely not your typical Chinese restaurant. The food is well prepared and portions are in line with the prices. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. We have had both regular dishes as well as sushi and they were both absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone. We will be going back frequently. read more

Food is honestly amazing. I tried a little of everyone else's food that came to the restaurant with me and it all tasted awesome. The sushi is delicious as well as the Chinese food. The garlic peppered beef is really good. Prices are steep, but you get what you pay for. Large portions and good food. Nice, casual atmosphere, doesn't feel stuffy or uninviting. Would definitely recommend it as one of the better Asian fusion restaurants around. I do feel like the other location, Four Seasons, same owner(s), is a little better for sushi. read more

Tried to have an early dinner at 8000 today. Waitress sat us down at the smallest table in the place. ( the place was empty) after sitting down I noticed the table being real sticky then seen that our silverware was not clean either. It appeared that soy sauce was all over the place. The manager working on May 22nd was very rude. Unfortunate, this was my 4th time coming here and thanks to him will be my last. The rest of the staff was pretty friendly. It's only a matter of time before the management ruin the culture. +update.. The manager reached out and apologized for how he responded to my question. Asian food is always very subjective so the short answer on this place is, give it a try. My wife loves the sushi and insists that eating there is better than takeout. I can see that as it appears to be a trendy but casual setup inside with a nice patio. Maybe I'm just too much of a barbaric meat and potatoes type, but considering the cost, I deem this place "adequate". Last time I was there picking-up there was some commotion with the wait staff and the host seemed very nervous about something. But my take on the food is nothing remarkable. read more

We got a menu today in the mail for this place and a lot of people recommend it. So we decided to try it. I called for 15 minutes and it was a busy signal. When i finally got through, i got a recorded we cant come to the phone message. Then i called again and was put on hold for 6 minutes and got hung up on. When i called back again, i got someone who didn't know the menu to take the order. The food was delivered and we were missing items!!!! So we call and they bring it back out, twice???? This restaurant has great ambiance, customer service and amazing food. All the food is cooked fresh. They have monthly drink specials and special events. I recommend the chicken dumpling soup, black pepper beef, kung pao chicken, their fried rice is delicious. The fried rice is the best I've had in a long time. I wish I could give more stars because the food is fantastic. Unfortunately I will not be coming back here. I saw something that was very unsettling as I was finishing up my meal. The servers and/or bartenders were restocking glasses for the bar area. They laid the crate with the CLEAN glasses right on top of a garbage can that I had just seen one of the staff empty waste into. They could have put it on a tray stand to load the glasses or on top of the bar, but no, they balanced it on top of a GARBAGE can. That has to be against some sort of health code. read more

I recently went here for dinner with my son. We ordered the spicy tuna roll and vegetable Pad Thai. Our server took our order, brought our food and then left us alone for quite a long a time. A different server checked on us and filled our water glasses. I noticed the other servers had a lot of energy and provided way better service than ours. We keep coming back and I don't know why! The food is good (when they get your order right) which isn't very often. Service is great. We always order takeout. The order is 96% of the time not right. Order chicken get shrimp, order not spicy get extra spicy. Missing items. All on different occasions. Not sure what is going on over there. They could have a good thing if they'd just get the orders right, they are always quick to offer a replacement dish or credit on be account. We decided to give 8000 miles a try after finding it on our way to 1913 Restaurant down the block. The food was good, a little pricey. We shared the Szechuan dumplings which were really good and then split the pad Thai and the beef fried rice. Although the pad Thai was not what you would get from a Thai restaurant, it still had good flavor. A the fried rice was good but a little bland (keep the sauce from the dumplings and add it to the fried rice, makes it even better!) All said and done we had a good time and a decent meal. I really like this restaurant. They have a good mix of both Japanese and Chinese dishes, and their beer selection includes some local craft options which what I prefer to drink. Their prices are a tad high, but the food has always been good in my experience. My family tries to eat their periodically, even though we only rarely eat out. I highly recommend them. read more

The food is great and pretty reasonably priced. And the interior is very nice and newly remodeled. My sister took me there for the first time as we both love sushi. Our issue was with the service. Our waiter placed down glasses of water and walked away. He never once asked if we wanted anything else to drink. I had to flag him down to order a coke. He then took our orders and began to walk away as I was still ordering. Anytime he checked in to see how our food was he would ask how it was as he walked past us, but literally would not stop walking so we were shouting our answers after him. For our entree he didn't ask if we wanted brown or white rice, and when we asked if it was supposed to come with miso soup, he said "oh yeah but I didn't know if you guys wanted it..." after all our food had already been served. He obviously didn't want to be there and it showed. I wouldn't be writing this if it was a one time thing, but my sister had a bad experience with the other waiter the previous time she was there too. haven't been there for awhile, so we ate there Saturday night, fair crowd considering the holiday. The hostess seated us quickly and was very friendly and efficient, and visited our table and others several times during the evening, checking on how everything was and if we needed anything else. Server, Amy, was very cordial and attentive to our every need. Our meals were dried chili chicken, hot wok chili chicken, and spicy chili fish. All were excellent, and more food than the three of us could finish. Wine list is adaquate, and reasonably priced. We'll be back soon !!! read more

I'm a fan- Roselle needs more nice restaurants and this place fits the bill. This place has a great atmosphere- clean, cute and inviting, friendly service and a great menu. I enjoyed their many vegetarian options- LOVED their apps and sushi/maki. It seems like those were everyone's favorites, and the meals everyone liked, but did not love. I think part of the reason some people I was with did not love their meal is because the meat was fried in a heavy batter. The menu did say wok-fried so that is partly their fault. Still, all the food was fresh and tasty and I will be ordering my to-go Chinese/Japanese from this restaurant from now on. Will also eat here again when we are looking to go out. I have to say, they have a very tempting beer and cocktail menu, too. I'm not a big wine person so cannot speak to that. read more

Went today for dinner without a reservation. Host was gracious. Waiter was good and I think he was still learning the menu, which is understandable, there's a lot on it. I had something simple - fried rice with cashew, pineapple and chicken. Why I like it? It's not overly weighed down in oil or soy. The flavors of everything came out very balanced. We have not been here for some time. The place was not busy tonight for a Saturday at 8pm. We sat at the bar and as always Celin was pleasant and did a pretty good job. We had a long day and just wanted a quiet spot to have a drink and dinner. Tonight this was not It. There was SO much chatter among staff members it was frustrating to us. There was a tall Caucasian man that kept commenting on other workers and he talks very loud and just stood at the end of the bar near the kitchen and kept it up. Please be mindful of other guests and get out of our area, since we are paying to eat and drink here. Not a relaxing night at all.
