We were looking for a dine in Chinese restaurant close to where we were and came across this location. When we pulled up all we saw was a row of chairs and one table... when we stepped inside we saw the 4 booths. The room is bright and there are wooden paneled walls. It is plain but very clean. We ordered the 4 piece pork Egg Foo Young, we asked to substitute the rice for pan fried noodles and we ordered two egg-rolls and two water bottles. It only cost us $15 which is amazing! The food was steaming hot and given to us as take out and they gave us two styrofoam plates and plastic forks. The egg rolls were hot, crispy, and delicious and the egg foo young was prepared perfectly seasoned. The sauce was amazing! We will be back again to try something else! If your in the area and have not dined here, I highly recommend it for take out or dine in. They won't wait on you but you don't have to eat it at home!

Chicken & Broccoli Lunch Special
C T.

My favorite hole-in-the-wall Chinese joint and a mainstay in Roselle for nearly 20 years now. I appreciate mostly for the value, but surprisingly the food here is as authentic as it can be for the price and quite tasty as well. In fact, I've had better dining experiences here at Wing Hing than other much fancier Asian restaurants in town and in nearby suburbs. Today I ordered the Chicken & Broccoli Lunch Special which includes an egg roll and either white or fried rice (your choice) plus hot tea. All this for only $7 which included tax and tip. The meal was prepared to my liking; low salt and medium spicy. Quite good and quite filling. Go there and say hi to the two brothers from Hong Kong running the joint. They're friendly and eager to please. Then explore the menu with 320 items listed (wow) and ask for a pair of chopsticks or just fork it (haha). Either way, dining in or carry-out at this place is easy on the wallet and customers have plenty of choices to mull over. I think Wing Hing is cheap, no-frills Chinese cuisine at its best. I give it four stars out of five. Please note this is a cash only joint.

Fried rice was mushy and oily. Beef Mongolian.

WhT a waste of money I read reviews and more good reviews than bad, so I tried it. But this might be the worst chiness. Ordered orange beef and I got salty beef mixed with chicken did not taste a bit orangey. Fried rice was mushy and oily. Beef Mongolian omg so salty. I had to throw everything in the garbage.

The absolute best fried rice. Go with the combination. Second choice is the lo mein. Then you have egg foo young and curry chicken.

The Mango Chicken May Have Once Met a Mango…read more We ordered mango chicken, sesame chicken, and teriyaki chicken, and somehow received three slightly different interpretations of the same dish: bland boiled chicken and vegetables in progressively different brownish liquids. The mango chicken was boiled chicken and veggies tossed in a sauce that may, at some point in its life, have been in the same room as a mango. The sesame chicken was more boiled chicken and vegetables in a thin sauce resembling a plain cornstarch slurry. And the teriyaki chicken? More boiled chicken and vegetables, this time swimming in brown gravy. Not a hint of teriyaki flavor could be located. We checked. Thoroughly. For a moment, we genuinely thought we'd been handed someone else's order. Then we called the restaurant, only to be told--in an impressively rude manner--that yes, this was in fact our food, and no, they would not be correcting the order. We were left with $30 worth of tasteless boiled chicken, crunchy rice, and the lingering question: What exactly happened here? Unless your dream Chinese takeout experience is paying restaurant prices for chicken that tastes like it was boiled during a power outage, I would steer clear. There are surely better uses for $30. Possibly even throwing it directly into Lake Michigan.

The prices are good and you really don't wait that long to get your food if you dine in. I highly recommend coming here. The dining room is very small but they have 5 booths and a table. We decided to eat there and waited awhile for the soups, but that gave me the impression they made them per order, and the taste pretty much confirmed it. The chicken egg foo young was tasty and fresh. The large portion came with four sizeable pieces with rice. Two pieces were enough to fill me up. The owner was friendly and personable, even through her broken English It's definitely nice to support small businesses, and I recommend this for anyone craving fast casual Chinese.

I've had fried rice once & white rice the other time. The egg roll is delicious, packed with meat & veggies. I am particular about my egg rolls & I would say this is a top 5 contender, easily. And now let's talk about the value.... you CANNOT beat it. It's alot of food and easily 2 meals. Order an extra egg roll & share with someone and save yourself even more cash. But honestly... the price is excellent. I'm incredibly pleased, and my coworkers who nibbled off my recent meal to give it a try are actually currently viewing the menu as I write this so that they can order for lunch. All the vibes checked out when we picked up our order: a busy lobby, takeout only, and a fast 30-minute turnaround. The portions were generous, which was definitely a plus. No need to order the large, when the regular size will feed two adults plus leftovers! However, the beef dish I ordered did not have a spicy symbol next to it, yet it was VERY spicy. I struggled to actually enjoy the dish because of how unexpectedly hot it was. Then came the next day, and we all know Chinese takeout is supposed to slap even harder as leftovers. I went to reheat some of the chicken pieces (the sweet and sour sauce was served on the side), and every single piece I ate had these hard, dry strands of chicken throughout. After a few bites, I was so put off that I threw the entire container away. The positives: The fried rice was good. The middle: The crab Rangoon was okay, but it was very onion-forward and tasted more like onion than crab and cream cheese. Unfortunately, between the unexpectedly spicy dish and the poor quality of the leftover chicken, I don't think we'll be ordering from here again.

The beef in the beef stew braised noodle I ordered was good with a good flavor. The wontons were not very good. The noodles, I'm not sure what kind of noodles they were, but, it wasn't the egg noodles that you can get in Chinese areas. The noodles were soft, not al dente. The BBQ pork was okay, though we have had better. It's a cheap place. It isn't to the standards of the 626. But, they might be one of the better places in Schaumburg. If I come back, I would look forward to trying something else on their menu.

The family and I have been coming to this hot pot place for years. Everyone loves hot pot,…read moreespecially during cold weather, and my kids in particular have a huge appetite for it. We usually come here when the cravings hit or to celebrate family occasions. The prices are very reasonable and generally under $30 per person. We were last here about a week ago and it was $28 per adult, while kids were $14 (half-priced). I did notice prices increased by about $1 over the past year, but that's expected. Another thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to dine here. We've come on a Saturday night for dinner without a reservation and were able to walk right in. Most of the time, walk-ins aren't an issue, which is really nice. A while back, they used to have you mark hotpot ingredients on a paper menu and staff would bring them to your table. Over the past couple of years, they've switched to an ingredient bar at the back of the restaurant where you can grab your own noodles, vegetables, seafood, and sauces. There are empty plates, bowls, and saucers available, making it easy to customize your spread. The only items you still need to order verbally are the hot pot meats, which makes the overall experience much more efficient and you can get to cooking quickly! Here's my favorite way to make a dipping sauce for hotpot: garlic + basic soy sauce / house sauce, a pinch of spice sauce + top with a lot of green onions cuttings. And there you have it! The ingredient selection is decent including several types of noodles like udon, glass noodles, and ramen. They have my favorite vegetables like watercress and bok choy as well as some of my favorites proteins: shrimp, mussels, quail eggs, fish cakes, cubes and balls. There is a peanut sauce available at the sauce bar, but I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with food allergies or strict dietary restrictions, as cross-contamination could easily happen with the shared setup. One of our favorite appetizer items -- which is free with the AYCE and not at the ingredient bar -- is the fried buns with condensed milk. They're listed on the menu and are absolutely delicious. We usually order multiple rounds as our kids love them, and so do I. When it comes to drinks, everything is ordered à la carte. They offer soft drinks, alcohol, and smoothies. I ordered a mango and pineapple smoothie for $7, which was quite sizable and very refreshing. You can also order a single-fruit smoothie for $6. For broth options, there are only two choices: a bone broth or a spicy broth. If you have kids, I recommend the non-spicy option. The broth can get a little fatty after cooking all the ingredients in it and is enough for flavor. We came as a family of 6 and opted not to squeeze into one booth. We asked to sit at 2 adjacent hybrid booth tables and requested an additional hot pot for the 2nd table, and they were very accommodating. One of the servers also speaks Cantonese, which was very helpful for our family. One small piece of feedback for the owners: for places like this, it would be great to have disposable gloves available at the ingredient bar. I always appreciate seeing that extra level of consideration for cleanliness. Lastly, just a heads-up that gratuity is automatically added to the check for parties of two or more. Make sure to review your bill before adding an extra tip -- unless, of course, you want to tip more. Overall, this is one of our family's favorite places for hot pot when we want a no-fuss, no-cleanup meal. It's a solid experience that doesn't break the bank, especially for large families. The fact that they focus solely on hot pot -- without additional barbecue meats or grills -- helps keep it surprisingly affordable. The restaurant is also connected to a Mexican bar so your receipt is gonna ring out with that place as a vendor and this restaurant is next to "Noodle Delight" (likely same owners?) if you're looking for authentic Chinese food in a more traditional setting. We've been to that place as well and it was great, but that would be another separate review :)
