They have COCKROACH!!!! came here twice to give them a fair chance. First time, I ordered fried fish combo . The cashier charged me $0.35 for tarter sauce, he stated that the combo only came with one sauce. Since I asked for cocktail sauce, it will be 35 cents for tarter sauce. When I got home, there was no/zero sauce in my bag. The fish tasted fine and was crispy. So I decided to give them another try. I went back 2 days later, ordered the same combo. The cashier was Morgan. She was very delightful, I would hire her. I found out that the combo actually came w 2 sauces. So I was mistakenly charged wrong last time. Then I noticed the price on their website menu was different then in the store. And the manger on would not honor the online price menu. Which is fine. Here is the problem. COCKROACH. A baby one crawling on the Checkout counter. And there was one lady that ordered bf me and she didn't get her food for like 40 mins bc one of her fish was not ready. But by the time I left w my fish apparently her fish was still not ready!!!!!! Another patron told me NOT to try the gumbo. And the only thing descent was the fried food. read more

It's funny that they would encourage patrons to call ahead for quicker service when I got placed on hold and hung up on twice trying to place an order. I called back a third time, got through, and the young lady that answered the phone tried to put me on hold again. I said no!!! She proceeds to tell me that she's the only one answering the phone, blah, blah, blah. I could understand being busy but she kept hanging up when trying to take me off hold. As an employee in charge of answering the phone, you need to know how it works. All of the reviews regarding the poor customer service are true. I will start by saying 7 spice has a great food, but out of all the ones i have visited this one needs the most improvement. The services needs some work they forgot my food twice but i will say they had no issue with recooking it so my food was warm. This was my first visit here and I will say I won't be back! The food was not the issue it was the horrible customer service! They completely messed up my order and when I called to tell them they informed me they didn't give me part of my order bc they ran out. Ok well why didn't you inform me. So I was informed that they would replace my entire order. I came back a few days later and they only wanted to replace partial but each order I received was missing an item! My last final visit to this establishment is today. I'm so over the inconsistency at this establishment. Today I came in an ordered two EZ peel combos in Mild Garlic Butter flavor. I got home and begin to eat the potato and my mouth was instantly on fire I knew right than that one of the combos was spicy and my husband and I don't eat spicy food at all. So I take it back to get what I ordered and the guy assured me that it was mild this time. I get back home to finally eat and I opened the bag. Low and behold it's the same food I brought back but in mild garlic butter. The shrimp were so hard and rubbery to chew. You would think they would have gave me a fresh batch of food but that didn't happen. Never again will I waste my time and money on this establishment. Came here on 07/02. Staff are nice with greeting and smiling faces. Food are very good. Great idea that they have a washing hand sink up front. They were out of paper and soap and no replacements. I forgive them since they are brand new open, a lot to learn, but the owner need to please keep your eyes open to details, don't let this happen in the future. I like the food but the service is poor. I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes later. I get there exactly ten minutes later and I'm told it would be another 5 minutes. I waited another 15 minutes before they realized my togo order had been sitting on the shelf the whole time. The insult was that nobody apologized for the blunder. It'll be a while before I come back; this is the third time something's gone wrong and they just opened a little over a month ago; hopefully the staff will have gotten the hang of it by Christmas. read more

I've tried 7Spice twice since they opened this Pearland location and have enjoyed my food each time. They are busy, but still managed to get the to-go orders out in a reasonable time. You do want to check your order before leaving, though. Several people returned to the counter due to missing items, but the employees handled the issues quickly. I am sure this will get ironed out as they find their stride. So far, I have only tried their crawfish and snow crab boils and both were very good. I like the crawfish with their cajun seasoning and spicy. Their crab legs are awesome with the garlic butter seasoning and mild. I plan to try their other menu items soon. read more

The quality of the food has gone on a sharp DECLINE. Went there not long ago and the food was slop. No flavor in the boil at all. But the worst of it is the customer service. These little young gals they have at the front will be what completely sinks this ship. A business is what it's representation is. These girls are young, immature, rude and extremely hood. What they fail to realize is, we are in the middle of a pandemic, which has caused many restaurants to close - restaurants that value their customers (unlike 7 Spice). These little girls have jobs because of people SPENDING THEIR MONEY at 7 Spice. They all need hospitality training. The owner needs to clean the front of the house and start over. read more

My fiancé & I regularly ate at the Missouri City location so we were excited when a location was announced in Pearland as it is much closer to our home. The food taste the same at both locations however we have tried the Pearland location 3 times and ALL 3 times our take out orders were not completely filled. We were missing a side, missing dipping sauce, or missing both. The 3rd time we checked before leaving. My fiancé went inside to address the missing item and was informed that they were out of the side & sauces. Common courtesy would have been to inform us when we arrived for pickup and offered something else in place of the missing items but instead it seems they just hoped we wouldn't notice before getting home. We're a pretty patient couple who understand the occasional human error but the 3rd time was the charm for us. I love cajun food. And I very much like this one. My sister doesn't agree with me, but she's boujee so it doesn't count. My other reasonable sister showed me this place and I've come here several times since then. I wasn't aware there was more than one, so I can't compare it to the other ones. As far as seafood boils they only have snow crabs and shrimp. Crawfish only in season. But they give you a healthy amount. Now I'm wondering if I was gypped at other places. The snowcrabs are done well here. My only complaint is there are no tools to help open them. I have to crack them with my teeth and I feel like everyone is staring at me. But I mean, I'm not gonna stop eating so, oh well. Enjoy the sounds. I personally think the head on shrimps taste better than the EZ peel shrimp. The fried baskets are good. The creamed corn was good. Get the sauce at the counter and pour it on there with lime, you'll get that elote taste. I'm a little disappointed you can't mix the two flavors they have, the 7 spice and the butter garlic. Seems like a no brainer to do. The seafood boils I tend to like are very heavy in sauce. The vietnamese styles. This one is different. It's watered down, but not in flavor. It's just different. But that buttery sauce in the cups make up for it. The dirty rice, while nothing special about it, is decent. I always found the staff friendly, or amusing. I do notice they get a little overwhelmed during the busy hours, but I'm not trippin'. Food is good - customer service is horrible. Young people at the register with an unprofessional attitude. The girl Alexis was on her cell phone while the young man was open mouth yawning! Tables were uncleaned. One customer cleaned her own table before she ate. Alexis would come out and clean the table when requested but was full of attitude. Although several tables needed cleaning, she would only clear the one being requested. Had a steady flow of customers but same complaint about the service. My order was incomplete. Young man asked to see receipt. Turns out he didn't charge me for everything I had ordered. No problem since the wait is too long to place another order. Definitely want our young gainfully employed but they must be adequately trained in customer service for a business to do well. I recommend for the food but be wary of the service. read more

The head on shrimp is horrible. The top of the bag is okay but as you work your way down the shrimp is like play dough .. it had a gooey texture like as if the shrimp was bad before it was cooked .. I was left with really bad stomach complications. I will never eat at 7spice again . Not to mention we had a few crawfish with straight tails ! Do better 7spice , do better . 7 Spice is really good in Pearland!! The down side is that I called in to place my order almost 20 minutes before I came they told me it would be 10 minutes, and I still waited 25 more minutes. I was late to work!!!! I had to ask the guy that I called in my order and also been waiting for a long time. He asked me did I pay, I said of course. The whole time my food was on a rack. We have ordered food from 7 Spicece three times. Every time, the food was good, ready on time, and reasonably priced! However, this past Friday I went in to pick up my order, paid in cash, and the clerk told me that the $20 bill I gave her was fake!! I couldn't believe she said that without even knowing how to check the validity of the bill!!! I told her that wasn't possible because the cash I had came from my bank. She wouldn't give me my food, and didn't seem to know what to do. Another guy working there came along, took the bill, held it up to the light and told her it was legitimate. No apology was given, nothing just my change. Based on that alone, I don't think I will do business with them anymore. Employees need training. That was the worst way to approach a customer that I have ever experienced. I have had only two visits to this restaurant and both have been at the Shadow Creek location in Pearland. Both times they have made my order incorrectly! The most recent time was Monday evening (9-30-19)The employee stated she had checked my order but when I got home it was incorrect. When I called to notify them of the mistake, an employee said she would write my name down and they would replace my order during my next visit. I went the next day with some family and they refused to replace my order and basically called me a liar. They stated that it was my word against theirs and that how do they know the order was wrong, or that the employee said they would replace it. The manager or owner was extremely unprofessional and rude. He said that if he replaced my order then everyone would complain and try to get free food. It was very embarrassing especially in front of family and other patrons. The sad part is the food is actually good but I will never ever go back because of the poor customer service.
