The work was performed perfectly, and the final cost was the estimated cost to the penny. I cannot recommend this shop enough. Even the exterior of the building suggests quality, precision and care. Appearances can be deceiving, yes: but not in this case. I believe I have found the perfect body shop.

Just to preface... I did NOT receive services from this business…read more I reached out via the yelp quote thingy. I was told to call the shop to set up an appointment for an estimate. Well, I did. I told the woman that answered the phone that I was told to call about scheduling an appointment for that estimate but I live in Hagerstown and didn't really want to drive two hours round trip just for an estimate; I inquired if I could possibly send pictures and such, and she said quickly and firmly that they didn't work with any type of pictures. There was no double checking or anything like it was HER place of business and she was the owner. Ok. That's cool if that's your prerogative. So I responded to the person I was communicating with via yelp and let him know that drive wasn't on the bingo card. He told me to send pictures and such. However, front desk Karen had already left a nasty taste in my mouth and the whip lash I received from the two different communications should get me an insurance check. I gave them the second star because the internet person made an attempt at customer service.

I had replaced the entire exhaust system just six months earlier, so I was surprised when they quoted nearly $1,000 for the heat shield, claiming it was not included in the prior work. After discussion, the manager agreed to cover it. However, this left me questioning the clarity of their previous service descriptions. While the car was in the shop, they recommended replacing the rear sway bar. The estimate instead referenced "rear suspension" at around $700, even though I had replaced the full suspension (front and rear) only two years ago. Again, they stated the prior work did not cover this component. These inconsistencies have seriously damaged my trust. When I returned to pick up the car, an employee handed me a broken key (the electronic component had detached). Staff then made rude comments, suggesting I find another service center and telling me they no longer wanted me as a customer. A manager joined the conversation and the interaction became confrontational. The main issues appear to be vague terminology, poor communication about what parts are included in repairs, and unprofessional handling of customer concerns. As someone who is not a car expert, I felt misled and no longer confident in the services I had paid for over time. This experience has cost them a long-time loyal customer. Reading up on these places I noticed CARSTAR advertising that they had special tools / machines that may help me , without having to patch and paint . So I went over to their shop and they brought out the technician, who said : Oh yeah I think I can fix that. In addition to that , the quote was $410. I took it in, they had it a day and I picked it up looking perfect?Not only did they fix the problem, they washed the car, cleaned the inside and blackened my tires , plus everyone gets a jar of delicious apple butter.Think I'm done?Oh wait... I paid cash and no one had change for a $20. So the boss said just the $400 and skip the $10. What a great place and great people who work there. Well Done!!
