Just to preface... I did NOT receive services from this business…read more I reached out via the yelp quote thingy. I was told to call the shop to set up an appointment for an estimate. Well, I did. I told the woman that answered the phone that I was told to call about scheduling an appointment for that estimate but I live in Hagerstown and didn't really want to drive two hours round trip just for an estimate; I inquired if I could possibly send pictures and such, and she said quickly and firmly that they didn't work with any type of pictures. There was no double checking or anything like it was HER place of business and she was the owner. Ok. That's cool if that's your prerogative. So I responded to the person I was communicating with via yelp and let him know that drive wasn't on the bingo card. He told me to send pictures and such. However, front desk Karen had already left a nasty taste in my mouth and the whip lash I received from the two different communications should get me an insurance check. I gave them the second star because the internet person made an attempt at customer service.

Amazing experience!! Highly recommend Sterling Collision Center. 10 stars!…read more First, Bud and Mario are awesome to work with, but I mostly worked with Mario. Mario was knowledgeable about the damage to my vehicle, showed me on the car lift where the damage was, discussed the parts that needed to be replaced, helped me understand the timeline for repair, showed me the cost for the parts, gave me a quote for overall cost, and had excellent communication. The best part was the overall cost was exactly what was quoted. Secondly, the turnaround time from start to finish was faster than I expected. I called on a Tuesday morning, I had an estimate done on Tuesday afternoon, and my vehicle was completed by Friday that same week! I was expecting at least a week or more for ordering/delivering parts and the actual labor, but was delightfully surprised that it was done so quickly. Third, the communication was great throughout the process. Phone calls from Mario were helpful and text messages about the status were reassuring. Sterling Collision Center is the best option for car repair because they were professional, honest, and trustworthy.

The people at Sterling collision were a joy to work with, and they kept me advised of the progress all along.  The workmanship was fantastic, and the people were a joy to work with.  I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend them to anyone.  They are truly professionals, and I am delighted at the outcome.   G.T.

I finally picked it up in October and there were still countless issues. The black truck had been washed in an automatic car wash causing scratches all over. The wheel covers weren't installed, badges were missing, the windows hadn't been tinted, trim pieces were missing, paint was scratched off around the windshield, someone had put 3 small dents in the bottom of the driver side door, etc. I brought the vehicle home and took it to the State Farm recommended shop here and they had to do over $2500 worth of additional repairs to correct the mistakes made at Caliber. The second time, while trying to align the sensor they damaged the electronics causing the radio and heads up display to completely short, as well as damage to the lift gate. The shop knew that there was damage to the electronics, asked me to sign the approval for payment from my insurance and then shuffled my car off to the dealer for them to analyze and try and fix the problem. To recap, they broke the electronics and then sent it off somewhere else, collected payment from my insurance and have barely bothered to follow up. I called and waited TWO weeks for a response from them, only to have them say they would be back in touch, which they have not done. My car has been sitting at Malloy for the last month because the dealer can't even figure out how they damaged the car and is unable to repair it. I am being forced into buying a new car because of the damages they caused and have since entirely shirked any responsibility for. Absolutely would not recommend bringing your car here. Their complete ineptitude has caused me to lose business and have to pay out of pocket for a rental. They have absolutely no integrity and are unable to communicate or own up to their own mistakes, never mind making it right with the customer. Unforgivable.

The pricing has always been fair and does not exceed the original quote unless they find something else, and then they make sure it is approved prior so there are no surprises. The issue with most body shops in the present day, is the supply chain issues that have come with the pandemic. It takes longer for the shops to get parts, the vendors are charging more for the parts, and the labor to install the parts is through the roof. The recent estimate for an accident in November, was in the middle of December and the repair was made in March. With the current supply chain issues being considered I was very happy with the timeline and the end result was flawless as usual.
