Just to preface... I did NOT receive services from this business…read more I reached out via the yelp quote thingy. I was told to call the shop to set up an appointment for an estimate. Well, I did. I told the woman that answered the phone that I was told to call about scheduling an appointment for that estimate but I live in Hagerstown and didn't really want to drive two hours round trip just for an estimate; I inquired if I could possibly send pictures and such, and she said quickly and firmly that they didn't work with any type of pictures. There was no double checking or anything like it was HER place of business and she was the owner. Ok. That's cool if that's your prerogative. So I responded to the person I was communicating with via yelp and let him know that drive wasn't on the bingo card. He told me to send pictures and such. However, front desk Karen had already left a nasty taste in my mouth and the whip lash I received from the two different communications should get me an insurance check. I gave them the second star because the internet person made an attempt at customer service.

So I went over to their shop and they brought out the technician, who said : Oh yeah I think I can fix that. In addition to that , the quote was $410. I took it in, they had it a day and I picked it up looking perfect?Not only did they fix the problem, they washed the car, cleaned the inside and blackened my tires , plus everyone gets a jar of delicious apple butter.Think I'm done?Oh wait... I paid cash and no one had change for a $20. So the boss said just the $400 and skip the $10. What a great place and great people who work there. Well Done!!

Mario was knowledgeable about the damage to my vehicle, showed me on the car lift where the damage was, discussed the parts that needed to be replaced, helped me understand the timeline for repair, showed me the cost for the parts, gave me a quote for overall cost, and had excellent communication. The best part was the overall cost was exactly what was quoted. Secondly, the turnaround time from start to finish was faster than I expected. I called on a Tuesday morning, I had an estimate done on Tuesday afternoon, and my vehicle was completed by Friday that same week! I was expecting at least a week or more for ordering/delivering parts and the actual labor, but was delightfully surprised that it was done so quickly. Third, the communication was great throughout the process. Phone calls from Mario were helpful and text messages about the status were reassuring. The front head light they tried to buff out the scratches and reuse it. They fixed my fender that looks good. They scratched my new running boards putting the Front fender on. They buffed the front fender and when they did they left buff marks in the passengers side door. Their is a scratch on the hood now. Where they put the new front bumper on you can tell where they painted with tape marks when they pulled the tape off. They need to take their impact tool away I can show you where they took bolts off and scratched the paint under the hood. They contacted me this morning because they did not like my review I left on other site. I sent pics to them of my complaints to them this morning they have not even had the since to email me back Trust me on this one do not take your car or truck their I would not even let them fix my red wagon of mine. its one thing to ripe off insurance company's But just remember Karma will bite back

Would not recommend. I brought my car to JRs twice. The first time they completed the body work and…read moremisaligned the sensor which I had to have repaired at the dealer. The second time, while trying to align the sensor they damaged the electronics causing the radio and heads up display to completely short, as well as damage to the lift gate. The shop knew that there was damage to the electronics, asked me to sign the approval for payment from my insurance and then shuffled my car off to the dealer for them to analyze and try and fix the problem. To recap, they broke the electronics and then sent it off somewhere else, collected payment from my insurance and have barely bothered to follow up. I called and waited TWO weeks for a response from them, only to have them say they would be back in touch, which they have not done. My car has been sitting at Malloy for the last month because the dealer can't even figure out how they damaged the car and is unable to repair it. I am being forced into buying a new car because of the damages they caused and have since entirely shirked any responsibility for. Absolutely would not recommend bringing your car here. Their complete ineptitude has caused me to lose business and have to pay out of pocket for a rental. They have absolutely no integrity and are unable to communicate or own up to their own mistakes, never mind making it right with the customer. Unforgivable.
